Lunch was awesome here! The pizza is ahhmazing. I’m super picky when it comes to ordering Pizza from certain spots. Either the dough is too thick, it’s not cooked enough, cheap products, etc. but this restaurant nails it! The employees here are really nice too. Will be back & become a regular now. Thanks!

They not only messed up the order, they also did do anything about it when I spoke to the manager. Food was like warm. The pizza might have been edible if they hadn’t let it sit for so long. I had to ask after seeing other people get their food(those who ordered after me) and they didn’t even warm it up, offer to, or do anything after I asked after my order. I am upset. I paid first so there wasn’t really any way to get my money back without me making a scene. I didn’t. Wish I had.

This is the best New York style pizza in the area(coming from a Chicagoan), though their ‘deep dish’ isn’t that great. I believe they should be open a bit later on the weekends, as when I’m back from a bender I could really go for a slice.

I now have been here 3 times love the pizza and pizza rolls. The best thing about this place is it’s fast and good. I love the pepperoni and sausage. The sausage is high end. It is not the usual thick breakfast sausage. The only downfall here is price. If you want a large pizza it’s over 20 dollars. Great place for Pizza fast.

One of my favorite independent pizzerias in OC, and a diamond in the rough among the recent flood of fast casual«customize your pie» restaurants. I’ve been eating here for years and never had a pizza I didn’t like. The dough — most important part — is both crispy and chewy, never too hard. It’s marketed as «NY thin crust» yet not actually that thin as NY pies can be, but I like it anyway. Their various premade combinations that are out for you to buy by the slice are usually cheese, pepperoni, pepp/sausage, margherita, and Greek/Mediterranean. They’re all good. Buying by the slice starts at $ 3 each, so whole pizza obviously gives you better value and fresher food. Burtucci’s also serves baked subs, paninis, salads, and pastas. The subs are delicious, but the pasta and salads you can get about the same pretty much anywhere. The prices are understandably higher than the big chains, but still reasonable, especially for this affluent area. Also, around the time MOD Pizza opened up directly across the lot last year, to compete Burtucci’s also introduced a personal pizza under $ 8 before tax. Having tried MOD a few times, their dough frankly sucks(it’s practically flatbread), and I’d never choose it over Burtucci’s. The sole downside is that the quality of service has been inconsistent over the years. That said, I’ve had no complaints in recent memory. It seems to depend on whether I’m being helped by the experienced full-time employees or by local high school-age teens. Summer just started for the school kids, so it might actually be a seasonal issue. I’ll update if I notice anything.

I love Burtucci’s pizza! I always get the lunch special, two sclices of pizza and a medium drink. With tax it’s $ 7.55. He makes his own sausage and meatballs too. Love it! Don’t hesitate, come eat here!

Best«New York» pizza this side of the Big Apple! Don’t know if he imports the air, water, or its ordering a slice from the many selections inside the counter like in the pizza mecca. Just the right thickness, no overloaded toppings to make it soggy, and the 700 degree oven to render the crust with just the right crunch. Many pie shops claim«New York» style… this place delivers the New York pizza experience! I’m hooked!

Good pizza, but that doesn’t make up for their terrible service. Was not greeted when walking and just received blank stares. The girl at the register was not happy about being there… I’m sorry did you not want to show up and get paid for work? The owner insisted on me getting a larger pizza than I needed. He asked me three times if I wanted a larger pizza. I don’t know that I will be returning.

What amazing service! I had not been in for a while and they had taken a favorite sandwich off the menu. I told them what I was looking for and they made it on the spot! Who does that? I have been here before for the pizza(which is excellent!) but was taken aback by the personal service. They have an excellent selection of pizza by the slice ready for you to order, as well as an excellent selections of subs and salads. Definitely recommend!

I love this place! It’s the only place I’ll get pizza(unless I don’t have a choice in the matter lol) I’ve been coming here since it was Pizzarito, over 5 years now! I had to actually think about it, ha. But it has been my pizza place ever since and I’ve turned many others onto it also. They’ve always had really awesome NY style thin crust pizza, when they switched names, and owners, the pizza stayed top notch. There weren’t any major changes that I saw and I continued to love love loveee their pizza! It like changed my pizza life lol I’ve been to NY and this place is just as bomb! Seriously go here now, you won’t regret it. :)

We love Burtucci’s — their pizza and sandwiches are top notch. Employees are friendly and provide good service. The place is always clean and the food is delicious, and they serve generous portions. Will continue to patronize this place!!!

Its the kids’ favorite place, they could live off of the Sicilian if I let them. I usually get the Antipasto salad, its good for the price but there’s better antipastos at other pizza places nearby. And there’s nothing wrong with it per se, I just like the other ones better. Good prices and quick, we’ll continue to be regular customers

I call up to let Burtucci’s know I got my pizza delivered and it wasn’t thin crust. The kid on the phone was of no help, «we only have thin crust here» «that’s all we do». Well, we have had thin crust from here several times and for some reason it wasn’t 1 ½ plus inches. I guess my idea of thin crust is under ¾″ of an inch??? Am I wrong? Well the kid was zero help zero customer service, not my idea of a place worthy of anything greater than a 2 star… Need to tell the neighborhood and friends don’t bother with this place… Sent from my iPhone

Not the greatest pizza in down but a pretty decent slice. It was a little salty to me. They have reasonable lunch specials so that helps. Customer service was great. The guys behind the counter make it a great shop.

Honestly, I haven’t even tried the pizza yet, & I’m a fan. I’ve had two of their sandwiches, & I’m hooked; there’s about 2 more I still need to try. In terms of pizza, this is probably the only by-the-slice shop w/this much variety. You normally only ever see the usual suspects(cheese, pepperoni, sausage), whereas Burtucci’s had like 8 – 9 unique pizzas that I didn’t expect to see. I’ll be updating this review once I try the pizza, but so far so good. Looking forward to coming by again.

Tried NY pizza, fell in love. I am from SoCal but I feel like I have a good sense when it comes to quality and flavor! This place is the best pizza I’ve had aside from Joes in Santa Monica. It tastes just like real NY pizza and honestly I deem myself a regular now. I hope this place never ever leaves! The staff here is so friendly, helpful and extremely polite! One of the younger men here knew his manners and in tune with service. I ordered a medium, he made it fresh and in 15 – 20 minutes it was already ready for me when I came back! I LOVE this pizza spot! The best in OC/LA really!
