The Apartments At Birkdale Village

Really disappointed in these apartments as a whole. The location is pretty cool for awhile, but the office/​leasing staff are horrible and impersonal. The rent is way too high for the amount of space you get, and for some reason the water and electric bills are outrageous compared to everywhere else that I’ve lived. One of the things that really bothers me the most is that for most of the time we have lived here, the «business center» has been «out of order» or «under construction». It’s really pitiful that in this day and age the computers are fossils and nobody even seems to care or communicate. Every time I send emails to the office staff, they NEVER respond.

Good location apartment for sure, but they there old and small… Some have new kitchen appliances other don’t. Windows, doors etc are low quality. Service from office has disappointed me a few times already.

Birkdale Village shopping is a wonderful place to take a family. Good luck renting an apartment there. Understandably the apartments are in high demand, however, the rental office employees are the most rude indifferent people you will ever deal with. I spent 15 minutes there without an eye glance at me or hello. They acknowledged another couple who arrived ten minutes after my wife and I did and were going to help them first, and even then wouldn’t acknowledge me until I said something. I wasn’t looking to rent, my parents who live out of state wanted to rent an apartment and I live within walking distance to the office. I’m just glad I don’t rent, good luck getting service from them if you get in the door. I was dressed presentably and understood they were with clients while I waited. However, for front office employees a «hello» and «we will be with you in a few minutes» would have been what a competent employee is capable of.

If you have a shopping addiction, this may be the perfect place for you! You can literally shop, eat and hang out with friends in this location in Birkdale! The apartments are nice and comparably priced for the area. The pool area looks like a resort, complete with hammocks and grills. When I first moved to Charlotte I drove through here, and thought about how cool it’d be to live in a place where you can walk to so much. The only reason I didn’t was because it’s a bit of a drive to the Uptown area. Nice place, great amenities!
