Small, but tidy shop. Found a couple of shirts I liked. Good thing most of the shirts I fancied weren’t available in my size– saved me a lot of money! There were a couple of sections of kids’ clothing that were advertising 20% off, but sister and Mom couldn’t find anything my nephew wanted, or might like. Life is Good is the sweet, optimistic brand with positive and«play on words» messaging. They feature clothing for the whole family, as well as accessories, housewares, dog items, & «gear.» I’ve followed this brand for years, I love their shirts! They’re comfy & have good messaging. I was shocked when I saw the sign in front of their shop, but even more so when I talked to the sales clerk. He informed me they had been there for about a year! Wow, how have I missed this?! The shop is pretty decent sized & carries plenty of apparel, totes/bags, some housewares, & a few dog items. Everything was neatly organized & clothes on the display tables were neatly folded. The sales clerk was pretty friendly, he seemed a bit shy. I felt kind of sorry for him, seeing as my boyfriend & I were the only ones in there. It was lunchtime, so you would think there would be some kind of traffic in there. It makes me wonder just how well the store is doing & will it last in Birkdale Village? Items are moderately priced, with shirts running $ 20 for kids sizes(which I picked up one for my niece’s upcoming birthday), & $ 26 for women’s/men’s.
