this is for their Santa photo session. same Santa (of course! there is only 1 Santa and he’s here!). he loves children and makes children feel at ease. even the photographer was fantastic and super energetic. yes, the wait for Santa was long, but it was so worth the wait. unlimited poses and cd for $ 25. Amazing Santa experience. kudos Birkdale!!!

Great shopping area, food and movie theater. Very pretty area to walk around. Nice place to sit outside and enjoy coffee on a pretty day.

I’m sad to say I am not a fan of Birkdale. I think it is overrated and the parking is an absolute nightmare. The shops are nice and so is the theater but it is impossible to find a place to park. It is almost always overcrowded and just not worth the hassle which is a shame because there are some cute shops I would have visited had it been easier to get in and out of.

No one does Restaurant/​Bar as well as these guys !!! My girlfriend and I have been
regulars at Dilworth, Ballantyne and Birkdale locations for years. The food is always
freshly prepared. They have the best salads in the Charlotte area. Their burgers are made of a signature blend of brisket, skirt steak and chuck ground fresh in house.
When all else is failing in your Universe… i strongly recommendf their home-​made potato chips, followed by a Mama Ricotta Burger or your own custom made
salad and of course a craft brew … Don’t miss this place if you are new to the
area.

A great place to have near home here in the LKN area. A movie theater, restaurants, national and local stores all in a clean, easily walked, family friendly atmosphere. Recent addition, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar ups the «yay» factor in terms of good dining choices. During the summer there is live music at the Village center by the fountain. We like to get one of the outdoor seats on Dressler’s patio and enjoy some drinks and apps while we listen.
Come on down or up or over and enjoy :)

Birkdale is a nice shopping area nesettled off exit 25 off I-​77.
WIth over 50 shops, restaurants & a movie theatre, it has something for everyone.
My favorite shops are Gap, Total Wine & More & Ann Taylor Loft.
