The owners and staff are just fantastic!
I have gone before several races to get new apparel for different conditions (freezing cold for Richmond, Julie fitted me for the Mizuno Breathe Thermo top and bottom) and raining in Hartford (an excellent water repelling jacket) and helpful with making sure what I’m getting is right for me!
The store is always clean, well stocked and is laid out for many folks to be able to shop at the same time even though it has a small footprint.
Professional running bra fittings and the ability to try items out and return them if it wasn’t what you expected.
Mike is awesome – he’s not a world record holding athlete, he’s a regular guy who runs and talks to those of us that are also regular men and women in a way that makes my husband and I both feel a bit more like athletes. :)
Selection, pricing, deals on certain items (like a box of GU) and discounts on seasonal items are all outstanding.
Love that they are at the mouth of the Greenway in Birkdale and I can pop in for socks, a forgotten gel… you name it, before a run.
You can go to a big box store and be a faceless spender, or you can go to Fleet Feet and be a recognized and valued customer… why on earth would you pick the former when you can enjoy the latter?

We made the drive to here during a weekend visit to Concord. A very cute store! The staff was very friendly. They were busy so we didn’t need/​get much attention but that was ok. We didn’t need shoes and were just browsing their accessories and apparel.

Recommend by Ms. Kortni C. I’m soo happy I went here. Mike was there to greet us when we arrived. Pleasant and knowledge yet not pushy, I couldn’t been happier. Went thru a few tests. He look at how you speed walk, measured your feet, examined your feet so he can recommend the «right» running shoes. I didn’t realized the thought and effort it took to find the ONE. And I never understand why it’s necessary to find the right one. It not only help your running, your feet but also your speed. I learnt that all from Mike.
They offers run/​walk socials on Monday, Wed and Sat to beginners like me to the «pro». I appreciated the one on one. Their shoes are fairly priced. I’m not a loyal customer from here on out.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The store is small, but the items they do carry you can assured are high quality. Along with the high quality, comes high prices, but if you want to be fitted for a good pair of running shoes, this is a good choice. I wish they ran more sales, because the running clothes they carry are super nice (but also pricey!) If you’re into running, this is a great choice!

Great staff and owners. If you want a new pair of perfectly fitting running shoes this is the place to go.
The service is also great. They joyfully entertained our newborn and four year old while my wife and I got new running shoes. Additionally, they are very supportive of the local community and sponsor local races and clubs. We love the Huntersville half marathon which they sponsor.

Pretty happy with this store for my running needs. John & Kristina (the owners) are very knowlegeable about the sport.
They walked me through my new «fuel belt» & made sure I was happy. They’re extremely friendly & helpful.
The store is kinda small, but they do offer shoe fittings, which is a plus.
Prices seem to be a bit pricey, but running isn’t a cheap sport if you want to be competitive.
