I have gone here a few times. All the other nail salons in the area had long waits and I was pressed on time is how I ended up trying this place. The lady did an ok job and I decided I’d go here just because there was never a wait. She left solar nail gel under my nail which I had to pick off but other than that not a horrible job. I did notice they wipe off powder, gel dust, file dust –whatever you want to call it– off with a paint brush, like a previous reviewer stated. I just told myself to not judge too much on that. Every Time I come here there is a lot of men that come in and head straight to the back rooms. So I’m not sure why it’s only men but I guess I can take an educated guess. So I needed to get my nails done in a hurry a couple weeks ago and I stroll in. Of course the place is pretty empty. The lady hurt me like never before. She didn’t bother to push back my cuticles. She mutilated the skin around my nails and I bled on almost all my fingers. When she filed with the sander she cut me and even saw I was cut but didn’t even apologize. Then the hang nails that followed in the next few days was just the icing on top. I should have known never to come back here no matter how much of a rush I’m in(I have two jobs– super busy) but this is for those who want to consider this as a back up option. Don’t come here!

I am reviewing them from my one and only visit here because all must be warned. I wouldn’t go back for free. They get one star only because I can’t give zero. Have you ever felt like crying while getting your nails done? If you’re reading this and haven’t entered this so called nail salon please save your self and keep on driving. There are so many other options within a two blocks radius from this place. This just happened to be the first place I noticed so conveniently close to my job. Well I walk in on a Friday around 2 p.m. and first red flag it was empty. Ladies we all know that at this time on a Friday typically you can expect a wait. Well I was in a rush and desperate for time so I took one for the team. I walk in and request my usual a solar layover on my real nails. As I make my way over to their display of like 15 containers of color options I hear cracking and crunching noises from under my feet. I look down and see there is a hump in the tile that looked like it was about to split and a mess was going to pour out… Anywho, I request a dark purple with no glitter and after the lady spent over 5 minutes looking for it, she concludes they didn’t have it. She grabs a dark colored container and says this will work, it is just not as dark. She puts it on and I see poop color with glitter. I’m like, «that’s brown» she says, «no, it’s purple». So I put it under the lamp until she realizes the poop color. I then request the one dark purple with glitter she said they had. She opens it and whala all glitter. She very nicely offers to mix the purple glitter in the clear solar mix?! After another 10 mins of her opening container after container to no avail she recommends to just put clear solar on my nails then add purple polish over it?! I felt hopeless. In complete disbelief I just went for the only one shade of pastle purple they had. So we could finally get this party started. Finally, 15 mins in color picked we are ready to rock. Then the nightmare continued. After prepping my nails she pulls out this huge paint brush like the ones you would use to paint a house yes those. She pulled this out and started brushing my hands with it?! I was crying inside. I get past the brush issue and say nothing. Then I couldn’t help the urge to kick this chick from under the table. She was hurting each finger with ever move of the nail filer. Then I hear«ok wash hands you’re done» and she submerge my hands in oil and sent me to wash my hands. As I wash my hands all I feel is stickiness as I peel the solar mix out from under my finger nails. Washing my hands I look back and there is that paint brush again but this time it was being used to brush the table, chair and herself. I guess this was her cleaning. I paid and out the door to only have to file my nails again on my own cause they weren’t done right. There was nothing relaxing or enjoyable about this experience. The worse 35 $ ever spent. So my hunt continues.

I came in last Thursday for an eye brow wax. I had an appointment next door to get an airbrush tan, so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone. What a mistake!!! First of all, the room was disgusting. The chair had a towel on it and it was extremely dirty. There were long, black strands of hair all over it. Then, the wax was SOOOO hot that it burned both of my eye lids. Now a week later one of my eye lids looks to be infected… I can not stress enough, DONOTGETYOUREYEBROWSWAXEDHERE!!!

We were a little skeptical going in based on the previous review but whatever we went in anyway. Nice staff. My boyfriend and I both got pedicures and they did a thorough job and it came out great. Sounds like someone’s just being hater. Everything was decently priced and unlike most nail salons there was no pressure to upgrade your services.

The lady did a pretty good job, but there was a lot of male traffic going in and out of the back rooms… Just saying. Won’t be going back

When I lived in Houston this was my favorite nail and waxing place. The ladies are super nice and my waxes were always done quickly and professionally and the price was reasonable. Never got burned, never got my skin ripped off, never felt creepy or weird! It’s a bummer I have re-located out of state, I have yet to find a waxing place I like as much as Victoria.
