Amazing banh mi. Seriously. I find it to be fresher and tastier than all the others on Bellaire. Down side is that they are closed on random days.

I really liked their tofu sandwich, crave-worthy! Only complaint is that it’s cash only :(

Despite many times having passed by Them Hung, in a shopping center typical of the Bellaire/Chinatown area, there is a well hung«Grand Opening» sign displayed prominently out front. The shop is a tiny little thing, likely leaving some customers unsatisfied, housing only a few tables, a refrigerator case, and the assembly counter; also a little dirty, but that may just be an unfair reputation after servicing so many. And, as one might expect, they only take cash. The minimalist menu sports about 10 sandwiches of various succulent meats, including meatballs, chicken, and Vietnamese ham, or try the«Specialty Combination #1» featuring all of the above on a toasted bun, plus the standard Vietnamese sandwich accoutrements: homemade mayo, julienned cucumber and carrots, with a few hot pepper slices. Best of all is how cheap the place is: at $ 2.50 a pop, you really can’t get your hands around a better poor boy. In fact, at those prices, even your buddy Johnson from accounting might pick up the tab. There’s little else on offer besides chips and drinks, rice cakes, and some mouth-watering eggrolls. If you’re in need of a quick, inexpensive bite, and want something that Potbelly can’t quite put its finger on, feast your eyes on the goods at Them Hung.
