Awful horrible business! I rented storage here on Saturday and was given the wrong gate code. I was unable to access my belongings. When I called the 1 – 800 number for Public Storage it only gave me the gate code that kept giving me an «access denied» message. When I finally got a hold of an employee at the actual storage location I expressed my absolute frustration of being in the middle of a move with rented trucks and time lines and how beyond inconvenient it is to not be able to get to your belongings when I paid cash up front and don’t owe any money to public storage. The employee who’s name was Amelia was most possibly the rudest person I have experienced in a customer service position. She told me that she wouldn’t reset my code unless I spoke nicely to her and that she didn’t appreciate my tone because she didn’t need it that morning. I asked for a refund since I had only had my things there for three days. They said No… When I asked to speak to a manger they were some what helpful but refused to apologize for her out of line employee. Blah. Please avoid this public storage location like the plague unless you have the need to have your stuff held hostage. Just like Nancy Reagan’s crack campaign, I suggest you just say«No!!!»
