The service is really good. The burgers are awesome! The fries are very well seasoned and the homemade bread is so good! ~Love this place :)

the Pico de gio is very spicy but if you like that spice in your face you would like this. I had the southwest griller chicken salad. The bowl was enormous for about $ 10. Very worth your money. I would have expected the service to be a little faster but they made up for it by being really helpful and knowing what they are doing. This is not a place to come if you are on any kind of diet. But the food is very good.

We live just around the block and decided to stop by for lunch. I was pleased. we had the whole restaurant to ourselves on the weekend, but the layout of the place suggested that it can get really packed. My boyfriend had the burger which i naturally had a bite of. It was delicious and so were the fries. Probably one of the most satisfying burgers i have had in a long time. I had the asian bowl. the eggroll pieces were fresh and terrific. it was definitely a fusion of cuisines as it had beans mixed in with the rice and it came with a spicy sauce. very yummy. I liked the food partly because it seemed like they really cared about what they served, and also because it seemed like a nice little experiment in your home kitchen gone right :) will definitely come back here. come to think of it, i am craving it already.

We had an Asian Bowl and Asian Wrap — both with the chicken egg rolls. Both were great! Next time, I will ask them to substitute green onions for the sliced red onions it came with.

Would have given 5 stars based on the food but knocking off a star because of the service. The guy might of been having a bad day because every other review raves about the friendly service, but we did not have that. Anywho — the chicken gyro was very good! LOVED the tzatziki sauce and the pita. Great seasoning as well. The philly gyro was cheesy goodness wrapped in a pita. I will be back to try some more things and reevaluate the service!

Pros clean and that’s about it. Fries were overlooked and my Philly gyro was so greasy it soaked thru the pita. The taste was bland. Was excited to try based in the pos reviews but what a let down. Do yourself a favor and sail past this port of call.

This is a good place to go eat something refreshing, light. The workers are very friendly, polite and nice. Last time I went here was probably a year ago. This time I ordered their chicken Mediterranean bowl, which I was surprised that it wasn’t as good as it used to. It felt like fresh from freezer, the chicken was chewy and watery, the sauce tasted fine but it seems different and weird, and the veggies wasn’t strained well(watery). The place was clean but it had some off smell which is weird…

Great group of guys serving a peculiarly tasty blend of Asian, American, and Mediterranean cuisine. I had an egg roll salad, and I was pleasantly surprised. The egg rolls are more of the vietnamese pastry style instead of the think crunchy chinese style egg rolls you might see at a more typical chinese restaurant. Overall, this is a decent lunch spot.

I found this place while looking for Mediterranean in Katy, TX and it’s definitely a score. All food is fresh as I learned with the Greek salad with pita and hummus. I actually put in a second order because it was so delicious. All burgers can be substituted with veggie meat and the menu is vegan friendly.

Open the door and the first thing you hear is a barrage of «Welcome to Far Seas!» The service here is really good. Nice guys all around. Food is definitely made to order, no McDonald’s quick burgers here my friend. Think it took about 10 minutes to get my burger(other dishes come faster). I prefer freshness over heat lamp any day! The first time I went, the guy cooking my burger messed with his hat and hair too much for my liking! That’s a total ewwwwwy for me. But he is super nice and playful, just wasn’t thinking.(He doesn’t even work here anymore :(so that’s definitely a non-factory). And I haven’t seen anything ewwwy since then. Well the bathroom could use a makeover but it’s not dirty. Speaking of that burger though, so yummmmmmmmy! And yes, all those extra letters are necessary! I had the mushroom, swiss, parmesan burger and OMG it was really good! Huge ½ lb patty of thick beef; juicy, seasoned perfectly, and the fries!!! Crisp, just ask for extra seasoning cuz they do lack just a little. Southwest Burger — just delicious! And the sweet bread bun is a nice touch with the heat of the jalapeños. Huge burgers, good amount of fries(or greek salad which I prefer), bottomless cold drink(they really need to nix the mountain dew for sprite please and thank you, if you’re reading this)…for around $ 9 – 10 bucks! The egg rolls are pricey as an app but delicious. I’ve had the Egg Roll Salad. Interesting blend of ingredients but it works. I prefer the chicken egg roll over the beef though. I tried them both on my salad. Really big, totally enough to share. Chicken Mediterranean Bowl… explosion of ingredients as well. But I’m not a fan of the sauce that comes on it though nor the cilantro(and I LOVE cilantro so maybe it’s just too much). The Gyro Combo is one hell of a deal and it’s tasty! For $ 8.39 you can get a gyro, greek salad(best bet imo) or side of fries and a 24 oz drink. The gyro doesn’t beat Niko’s but it’s still pretty good, a waaaaay better deal, and the salad is not $ 3 extra like the aforementioned place. The Philly Gyro Combo though makes me wanna slap somebody’s mama. Same deal as the regular gyro combo but imagine a cheesesteak in a pita. It’s soooo good, tender steak, grilled onions & peppers and ooey gooey cheese served piping hot. Everything is made to order, prepared right in front of your eyes. If you are anywhere close to The Far Seas… you know what you need to do! Why are you still reading? Go! Go NOW and be FATFULL!

Easilu the best burgers I’ve had in Katy. We had the Mediterranean & Southwest burgers on Sourdough & split them. First off, the burgers were huge! The patties were juicy & delicious. The Mediterranean burger with the cucumber sauce & olive spread was very original. The southwest wasn’t very southwestern but good nonetheless. The jalapeño-ranch sauce was way too mild. Steak fries were nice & crispy. The side order of beef egg roles weren’t the best I’ve ever had but alright.

Ambiance– 3(10%) Nicely painted walls and ceilings, but overall simple. Cleanliness– 4(20%) The restaurant was empty yet the floors needed a quick sweep from the lunch service. The kitchen, drink area, and tables all very clean. Service– 4(25%) Cafeteria style service. Friendly and prompt service from the owner. Food– 5(35%) Their greek salad was great. We had the Mediterranean burger and gyro. It lived up to the billing of ‘The Best Burger in Town’. We will be back for sure. Value– 5(10%) Nice portion sizes and reasonable prices.

I would go 3.5 stars if I could. Both the food and the environment, in my opinion, are a little bland.

Went here on Sunday around 6:30pm. I was the only person here besides the owner/cook. The place is very clean and has a good café feel to it. I ordered BBQ Burger combo with fries. The French fries had a delicious Cajun seasoning mix on them and the burger was out of this world. Top notch place. I’ll be back.

We came in on an awkward time on a sunday. It was like just after the lunch crowd, but as soon as we came in and spoke to the girl at the front. I so wished I remembered her name because she was so helpful and personable. She helped us get the gist of what far seas grill was about. You could just immediately sense the pride the kitchen takes in their work. We took the mediterranean bowl and it was crazy tasty. Next time we are definitely going to try their burgers. This place is a great find! Thanks Unilocal!Food was so good we didn’t even mind that their A/C was broke at the time :)

Can’t wait to go back! A friend of ours had put so much energy into telling us he had the best burger here, that it made him pull off the side of the road and eat it. Of course we had to try it!!! We went on a Saturday for lunch and no one was there; good thing because it took us about 15min to figure out what we wanted. I had the Asian burger and it was delicious. I never would have even thought of adding the peanut sauce, that is usually for a spring roll, to a hamburger. As with most places in Houston, the portion control is thrown out the window… and I love it!!! LOL Of course that means we had to almost roll to our car after finishing, but it was well worth the money spent. Oh yea, kids eat free on Saturday’s!

I really like this place. The atmosphere is very chill with a tendency towards being fast food like which is not a bad thing. The food on the other hand is amazing. From the gyros, wraps and burgers it is all very fresh and delicious. Welcome to flavor country. Best part about Far Seas Grill is the price and service. Fast, fresh, flavorful, and inexpensive sums it up.

On your first visit to the Far Seas Grill, you might be a little confused. The cafeteria style restaurant has one of the most unique and robust menus on the west side of Houston, and everything is good. If you aren’t sure where to start, there’s an army behind the counter to assist. Besides the food, the staff is one of the true pleasures of this place. These are not worker drones who are just serving you for the paycheck. Everyone of them believes in their product and in a world full of dining choices, this is a refreshing distinction. The ingredients are fresh and your server knows how to layer the textures of your chosen rice bowl, burger or salad mix perfectly with sauces. This is definitely a place where you can establish yourself as a regular and quickly find a favorite dish(that you won’t find elsewhere) and can trust the staff to take on further culinary adventures!
