The manager on duty the day of our visit(Zach) was not very accommodating. Zach was not very professional. Not to mention that a waitress while on duty and working had two of her teenage daughters arguing louding and hiting each other… One actually begun crying loudly as my friend and I were trying to have an enjoyable late lunch. I will still visit Salt Grass, just not this location. I spent $ 149.00 on a unpleasant dining experience. Our only pleasure was our waitress Brandi. Hence her $ 30.00 tip. I was VERY disappointed mainly because of the fact I insisted to my friend that we would have a nice dinner at your establishment. Boy was I ever wrong! Thomas as we were leaving made the comment that he would never try any Landry’s establishment ever again. I am in the service industry myself, and I assure you that I would not hesitate to fire an employee in management such as Zach. Peace Unilocalers!

Have been to this location many times, and have never been let down. Steak is always cooked as I asked, and always flavorful. Would recommend that EVERYONE try the stuffed jalapeño appetizers. They are spicy as hell, but believe me, they are delicious. Have had a waitress drop a drink on me, but it was no problem at all. It was actually rather funny. Manager apologized and even paid for half of the meal, when he didn’t half to at all. Staff here has always been very nice and professional. Can never go wrong with a nice 16 oz steak!

We come here all the time. Needless to say, we like people who can do their job & do it right. This is the place! Never have I had a bad experience here. I get the salmon oscar(my usual) he gets steak & shrimp. Yes they are pricey, but it is a steakhouse what do you expect? My only complaint is I think they need more signature drinks on the menu, but that is just me. Not very fruity(no I am not a hardcore drinker). But my food overrides drinks. They are always attentive, always helpful. Managers are always there. They do love that seven spice, I am not a fan of it. But I say go light on it & they do. That simple– they listen! You don’t want to play games? Go here!

I went to dinner with my boyfriend and my parents. I ordered the fillet with a side salad and sweet potato from the gluten free menu. Our salads arrived and were good. They gave my dad his steak which he ordered medium and it was rare so they took it back to cook longer. They brought garlic butter with my sweet potato and I didn’t realize it until I had already used it. The manager brought me another sweet potato and I told him no cinnamon butter(in case it had gluten in it). He brought it with cinnamon butter. Then the waitress brought me another sweet potato with garlic butter again!!! By this point i didn’t even want another and was very upset. We talked to the manager and he offered a free dessert which I declined. The waitress didn’t seem that concerned and the manager didn’t believe us that the orders were wrong. He acted like there was no possible way it could be garlic butter. I tried to explain that a lot of the times flavored butters contain gluten so I try to be cautious. In the end they only took off $ 7 from the tab and we got the card for the general manager. I wasn’t frustrated about the money as much as the way the staff treated us. They didn’t believe us and didn’t even seem to care that I was upset. I don’t think I will be back to this location.

Came to this location for the 1st time and I was not disappointed. The service was awesome. Our waitress recommended some appetizers and was by far the best. The meals came soon after. My experience here was great. I will come back.

Just came in for drinks. Also had spinach dip so good. We love to come and have the gulf coast steak and shrimp.

The food was okay(not an incredible value). The steak was over cooked, but tasted fine. I do have to say, though. The service was spotty. So much so, that after waiting 10 minutes to pay my bill, I finally walked up to the hostess stand to ask if I could just pay her for my meal. A manager then cashed me out quickly. Average food and slow service well before the dinner rush will more than likely lure me next door to Joes Crab Shack for a better value and service the next time I’m in the area.

I really just want to rave about the service we had last night! Jeff was our waiter and he was awesome. They sat us promptly and were very accommodating with our two infants. He was extremely pleasant and prompt. I always drink a lot when I eat and he was fast with the refills. He was a better server than we’ve had at some seriously fancy digs. Thanks Jeff! You made it a good night!

Excellent food and excellent service. Our Server Jafari is by far the BEST server. He busts his ass in making everyone happy. It was my mother inlaws birthday and he read my lips while she she was ordering I mouthed it was her birthday. It was a very nice surprise when he brought her carrot cake with a lit candle. Definitely coming back here!

We started with the mushrooms and they were amazing. Our table ordered our meals and half the table received the wrong order. When we received our salads we had them for maybe 2 mins and the waiters came and pushed them away from us while we were eating to make room for our maim dishes. You must try the horse radish butter! I know from previous experiences that other locations are far superior and this was probably isolated to this one.

Ordered a Grilled Center-Cut Double Bone Chop They brought out Chopped steak, waitress looked confused and says«thats not what you ordered» they took the meal back, and I was left with only bread while everyone else enjoyed their meal. The manager finally came back 15 minutes later with the correct meal, but everyone in our party was nearly finished. No apology or any type of concession was made. Never had this problem with the Woodlands location. To top it off, the waitress did not bring our check until about 30 minutes after she brought our to-go boxes.

Went here for lunch with a few coworkers. I had the Chicken Austin with a side of sweet potato fries. My food was delicious! I was surprised to find two pieces of chicken breast. The chicken is said to be stuffed with artichokes and spinach with a creamy sauce and topped with spinach and sun dried tomatoes. It was simply amazing. The chicken wad juicy and tender. I really enjoyed the meal. My biggest pet peeve is that restaurants serve tap water. Here you get awful tap water. But the meal was so good I can’t take away a star for the water. Service was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Overall very happy with my experience at this location.

Everytime, my meat is under cooked and I have to either send it back or but it in the microwave. $ 50 well spent.

This review is bias as I am not a fan of corporate chains. Found a seat at the bar on a Thursday night and was ignored for a longer time than was expected. The bar keeps were busy and I was head down in my phone so… forgiven. but when I put down my phone and tried to make eye contact to get a beer and a menu… I struggled. Any way finally got beer menu and put in my order. Salad and bread came out quick, but the under done medium rare $ 30 filet I ordered took a bit longer than it should have. Good news is that when you order«under done medium rare» that is what you get. Other than the wait and innatentive staff, not a bad meal.

Like most steakhouse chains. They do a good job but are limited in their creativity. The steaks were good but not great. The bread rolls are great with the honey butter. Very busy when I was there but the service was still good, and the staff made you feel welcome.

I am not sure if I have ever been to a Saltgrass but let us start with the service. They were busy got here at 7.45 asked for a table for one. You could tell the hostess wanted me to sit at the bar but the only open seats were along the rail where the chairs had no backs. They did not look comfortable so I asked for a table. She said give us a minute to get one cleared off. I was seated in the back of the restaurant. I waited 5 minutes for my server to show up and take my drink order. She looked very frazzled. Ordered a bar drink and ice tea(mistake) ice tea was gross very bitter or something. Took about 4 to 5 minutes to get bar drink. Drink was really good. In that time I saw the server deliver a 6 top and take an order for a 4 top behind me. Once the 6 top delivered she seemed less frazzled. Food: I ordered a surf and turf which is a 12oz ribeye with choice of shrimp(coconut for me) and a sweet potato and side salad. The side salad was very cold some bytes were like ice. I don’t have sensitive teeth but wow. On the plus side the ranch dressing is headed and very good way better than kens. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the shrimp were very good. So service was a 3 out of 5 and food was a solid 4 I am not sure I prefer them over any other steak house chain. I wish there was a 3.5 rating because to me they are not a 3 but with better service could be a 4 so I am giving them a 4.

I’ve been here about 10 times and I can’t remember a single time I’ve been disappointed with the food or service. Management at this Salt grass does a good job of making sure they are not stretching out their waitstaff too much. They each only have a few tables so I don’t feel rushed to order. I know the waiters will come around often enough to get everything I want. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful in when describing the differ menu items. I almost always get the Pats ribeye which is an awesome steak for around $ 20 with two sides. Today I ordered the cowboy ribeye which is really awesome and huge. It’s like $ 36 but it’s so huge you can share it. I highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner. You won’t be disappointed. :)

What bad things could you say of this place. Service is great and their steaks are always on point. They seem to never get it wrong. For a chain restaurant their food quality is great, the prices do reflect the quality of the food. The bartenders are always great to sit down and chat. The best thing of this location, is that its always empty! No long waits, no babies screaming, and speedy service.

None in our party had eaten at a Saltgrass in years and our minds we changed– better than any of us remembered. We were a large party and were seated in minutes. Attentive, very accommodating service. Tortilla soup was underwhelming but everything else(steaks, shrimp, burgers, grilled chicken, and sides) was quite tasty. Lots of menu options and substitutions. Generous portions. Excellent children’s menu. Would eat here again.

I love Salt Grass. Their baked potato soup is the best! I tried the chicken tortilla soup. It’s pretty good. It has a spicy, peppery kick to it. I always love getting the Pat’s ribeye, medium, but I decided to try the Prime Rib during the lunch hour. I think that’s my new favorite. It’s very tender, and the 8 oz. portion was actually bigger. I prefer the cheesecake over the carrot cake. The carrot cake is moist, the cream cheese frosting is not too sweet, but it tastes over spiced. I’ve had the same server a couple times, and he’s very attentive. I will return!
