This is def my new favorite place to go to for«fast food». I’m wicked impressed with the large variety of fresh items and love how I can custom make my salad for an extremely reasonable price. Their tomato basil soup is tasty too! I am also impressed with the level of friendliness of the employees. It’s very welcoming to always be greeted with a big warm friendly smile. I highly recommend coming here for a fresh tasty salad(or wrap)!

The best thing that has happened in the world of salad serving restaurants! Fresh ingredients and you can make your own salad how you want it! Nothing can go wrong with this. Portions are huge. I just don’t understand why they close so early and not open on Sundays. Took a star off for that.

I want to know why this location is so great tasting, and bad with service. Don’t serve 7 ppl with 1 person making salads. Serve my soup! Stop restocking things! Stop flirting with women you can’t have losers! Woman who constantly«pretties» the line. Fucking make the salads… Stop restocking containers that are ALREADYFULL!!! Ughhhhhhhhh

If you like everything imaginable in a salad in the exact proportions of your desire, go here. If your tastes include such luxuries as avocado and shrimp, you’ll pay, but it’s worth it. A large salad will feed you two meals. Skip the bread(stale). It’s clean, friendly and tasty.

I am not a fan of paying $ 13 for a salad(especially one that I have to decide how to make) and drink. The ingredients were all fresh and there was probably 50+ toppings to choose from which to me can be overwhelming. The garlic bread had no taste unless you think cardboard is a flavor. I felt pressure to choose my toppings because the line was growing so I choose to put so much in the salad. My eyes were greedy! I asked for the dressing on the side so I tried the buttermilk ranch and herb vinaigrette. The ranch had no real flavor but the herb vinaigrette was pretty tasty. So my take is don’t put everything in your salad, have a plan, or go somewhere that has a specialty salad on the menu so I don’t have to think.

I know I said I am through with this chain, but I had to use a certificate. Staff were friendly and not frugal with the toppings. Lady behind me asked employee if the salad bowls got smaller. I laughed because I thought it, but she said it. Funny thing, one of the owners was ordering a salad and she felt the need to announce herself to the lady behind me. Lady behind me asked for more toppings(certain ones) and she didn’t receive any lip from employees. Honestly, I’m not sure if my dining experience was good because the owner was present disguised as a customer. My husband was just here a week ago and he said when he asked for more toppings(certain ones) the employee added more(frugally) as if she did not want to, but today they seemed happy to do it for the lady behind me. Then again, the owner was behind the lady who was behind me. Also during my husband’s visit last week, another employee walked up and put him on blast indirectly while speaking with the employee serving him as if he was not there, but clearly he heard everything. Rudeness seems common at Salata’s, and lack of consistency. Thankfully, I did not experience any rudeness today because this review would definitely be different. Parking is a headache but it wasn’t too bad and I arrived around 12:30 pm. Even though this experience was good, but in my opinion only because the owner was present, and this experience does not change my perspective of these salad bars.

Annoyed they charge for tofu now. And the tofu today was kind of slimy and old? Probably because no one orders it. Paid 9 dollars for a small salad. Should have walked to whole foods. 3 stars because I’ve had excellent salads in the past. It’s fast, convenient and filling. Today was bad though, considering going next door for pizza

I am a big fan of salad bars but am often left disappointed mainly because the vegetables do not look or taste fresh. Salata is different. The food looks and tastes fresh! There are plentiful choices of vegetables and fruits. The protein choices are a couple of different seasonings of chicken or seafood. All are tasty and a generous serving. The servers add all of the salad fixings in a bowl for you. And are happy to add as much or as little of the veggies and fruits as you like. The line moves very fast so you don’t end up behind a incredibly slow and ultra annoying person in front of you. I come here often and have never been disappointed.

I’ve been in Houston about four months now and have been on the search for a decent salad bar. I’ve finally found it! You choose what size salad you want, you choose what goes into it, you choose your dressing, and you choose if you want any sides(bread, etc.). My salad, my way — tossed together by someone else. The best part? A large salad cost me less than $ 10! I will absolutely be visiting here again, and I recommend you do as well!

This place is solid gold in my book! The salad bar options are plentiful, fresh, and dee-lish. I also had their tomato bisque soup, which was quite delectable as well. I will definitely be back to enjoy more yummy salad!

Awesome spot! A create your own salad bar that has a plethora of toppings, ones that you didn’t even know you wanted on your salad(sprouts? seeds? peas? beans?)! You start by choosing a small, regular, or wrap, then selecting your lettuce/greens. Then comes the fun part– choosing as many toppings as you want(with no extra charge!). I went with a mix of spring mix & romaine, then went for tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, corn, sprouts, chickpeas, peas, and seeds. After you go overboard with your toppings, you can select to add a meat or seafood if you choose(I saw several types of chicken– plain, BBQ, blackened, etc., salmon, and shrimp), I believe the meats are extra. Then you select from 9 – 10 dressings, ranging from lites to creamy’s. If you want a slice of bread to go with it there are three to choose from, which get warmed up through a toaster oven. There are 6 fresh brewed caffeinated iced teas– sooo many yummy flavors. Peach, green tea, raspberry, black tea, and some others. They also have the small ice cubes/crushed-esque ice, which is such a weird thing to get excited about but I do love it… My total came to $ 10 even for a create your own salad and an iced tea. The staff was so friendly and great, and the manager on duty was very nice to talk to… I was curious about the franchise and where they have locations(34 in all, sadly just in the south/Texas). One thing I noticed– they didn’t have avocado! Other than that everything was great.

This chain is my all-time favorite right now. I didn’t know they existed until six months ago, but once I did, they sped to the top. Expect to pay at least $ 10 if you want any meat or avocado on your on your salad. That might seem much to some until you take your first bite. The super high-quality ingredients and custom salad dressing will have you begging for more. I tried to make my own«Salata salad» at my house and it didn’t even come close. Something’s always missing that makes my homemade concoction not taste the same??? Anyways, not all salad bars are the same, I promise. Come here, then go to Super Salad or Sweet Tomatoes, which are 50% cheaper, and you’ll see what I mean.

This was my first time here and I loved the concept! I’m a huge fan of eating salads for lunch so I love that they have so many different options, you can literally eat a different salad everyday. Today I tried a salad with Asian chicken and ginger lime dressing, it was perfect! The place is a little expensive($ 9 for a small salad with chicken), but fresh, healthy places usually are! Will definitely be back!

I love this Salata. Compared to other establishments, there is usually seating and not too bad of a line. Although it is considered expensive, they do give you a pretty good sized meal with all the ingredients you could ever want. It is almost like a Subway. You choose which salad mix you would like(I usually get spinach). Then you can pick ANY toppings, they don’t charge you extra even if you get all of the toppings. They do charge if you decide to get chicken or seafood. Then you have a wide array of delicious dressings, and they give you the salad/wrap to eat/devour. The herb dressing is my favorite, and whenever I decide to get a wrap I save half to eat for later! Getting a salad is also great but you can’t save it for too long because of all the ingredients. Overall I love this place when I just feel like eating a good, healthy meal without thinking about the cost. Definitely recommend!

Salata has grown to become a major player in fast healthy food! This is the new location in River Oaks in the neighborhood I grew up in. It’s great to have a place like this with so many veggie options!
