Food was good, but it was a little salty. Portion was good. Overall it’s a good stop for seafood biscuits were great.

Our server Lorenzo was very friendly, attentive and took good care of us especially with it being packed for Ash Wednesday. Got my usually Seaside Trio and everything was exceptionally warm and delicious! We were brought cheddar baked biscuits fresh out of the oven. Yummy!

Friendly staff that is otherwise unattentive. Mediocre food at 3-star prices. I mean I could not tell if I was at Long John Silvers or eating something from a can. The food was microwaved, reheated and had freezer burns on it. We even had leftovers to take home and tried it the next day and it tasted like wax and smelled like something died. There other establishments in the chain that are better and this is one is of the worst. Do not dine here you will regret it.

We decided to go here on a whim after seeing a commercial on TV. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to Red Lobster. When we arrived, there was about a 15 minute wait, which was surprising and gave us a bit more expectation that it was a busy location. The ambiance was definitely not to my taste. Though the outside looks renovated, the inside was dark and looked outdated. The tables around our booth were stacked with tables and nobody was in a rush to clean it up. This could explain the reason for the wait. We got our drinks and ordered the seaside sampler(fried coconut shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, and shrimp cocktails). Alright, but nothing special about it. However, the reason everyone comes to Red Lobster are the biscuits, which was on point. It took awhile, but it came out fresh and as good as I remembered. We ordered the 4 course feast(clam chowder, caesar salad, shrimp and scallop alfredo, and a brownie a la mode). The clam chowder and caesar salad were per the usual. The shrimp and scallop was really fishy and didn’t taste fresh. The service wasn’t too great. We never got our refills, the food took awhile, especially the biscuits(which was probably in high demand), and when we requested the bill, it took forever. The worst part is probably when they were sweeping the carpet right next to us while we were eating. I’m not sure about anyone else, but it’s pretty disgusting and annoying when someone sweeps while food is on the table. The dust can be get on the food! I probably won’t be coming back… unless I’m craving those biscuits again.

I’ll come back! I came right at noon and it wasn’t busy at all. I got a booth by myself away from everyone and just pigged out. It was great! I can appreciate them taking the time to really clean the crab legs they looked and tasted fresh. The waitress was cool, she caught on to me just wanting to chill but was still attentive.

Really, really bad… From a 5 minute wait for waters, 5 more minutes for lemons to put in them, the saddest salads I’ve ever seen, flavorless gumbo, to no refills on the biscuits after multiple requests, add in a healthy fish selection swimming in grease and bland fettuccine with shrimp and you have one of the worst meals of my life… Then this treasure for a take home dessert(bottle cap for size comparison). Won’t. Be. Back.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this location. We had a very attentive and courteous waiter, Ruben. Thank you for this experience.

Literally the worst Red Lobster in the entire world. It’s like they strive to do their worst. Can’t get a simple Togo order right to save their lives. 3⁄3 orders completely wrong. Order a salmon Caesar salad-get a chicken Caesar salad TWOTIMESIN A ROW. Order a loaded baked potato-get NO cheese, sour cream OR butter. The managers hire dumb street rats for servers. It’s like they have a «you have to be a moron to work here» sign on the front door. They didn’t offer to send gift cards or anything. They just do not care. I’m sure they will when I get ahold of corporate. If they want to treat«Togo» like a McDonalds, they need to have a dollar menu. Don’t go here unless you are looking for your order to be completely wrong.

This has always been my favorite restaurant and always will. I have been going here since I can remember. The service is ok but the food is sooo good! Red Lobster will always be my favorite seafood restaurant.

While I have always like Red Lobster I rarely eat at any of their restaurants. Why, I am not sure. Perhaps it’s because I prefer to eat at non chain restaurants however with restaurants like RL I know I can always get a decent meal if I need to. Recently I made two pilgrimages to a local RL because of a gift card I had. The first trip I ordered a bowl of their lobster bisque and a lobster pizza from their appetizer menu. The restaurant décor was very similar to what I remember RL’s being like. A lot of wood and somewhat dark especially at night. When the food arrived I thought both items were good. Also my service was good. Those comped cheddar biscuits that come with every meal add to the quality of the meal. The meal cost about $ 25 with tea. I rated the overall meal a 3.5. The second visit was ordering the Admirals Feast which is a fried seafood platter type of meal. It was good too and I gave it a 3.5 also. Again the cheddar biscuits help the score. Again my service was good. The feast was about $ 19 before tax and drink. I am giving an overall score of 3 because I don’t think the restaurant quite deserves a 4. I noticed that since they have changed their menu recently to include more lobster dishes many of their entrees are now in the $ 20’s. Would I come back? Sure. Will I come back anytime soon? Probably not only for the fact of knowing several other seafood restaurants that are at a lower price point and just as good. However I am glad that RL is here because I know what I am getting if I go into any of their restaurants and that is a decent meal!

The food here is just. Terrible. I had the admirals feast and jumbo coconut shrimp. The shrimp tasted like they were frozen then fried. The texture and flavoring was off. They skimp on your portions. My food only came out to be a few pieces. I was stunned when the dish came out and even more so when both dishes taste horrible. I can’t even explain. I should of known that coming here would be a bad idea. Only good thing were the biscuits they give you, those were yummy

What can I say… It’s Red Lobster! First it’s a Wednesday and there is not that many people in here and we waited at least 15 minutes before we got something beside water. Their food is okay not good though but it can ease a craving when you don’t have many choices. I got the three shrimp trio and the shrimp are sooo tiny. Also I enjoyed a lemon drop martini and it was good! If I never go back to Red Lobster I would be okay. PS: Solely the reason why yall got two stars instead of one, Those biscuits are the !!!

As a child, Red Lobster was to be considered a fancy establishment. Not quite suit-and-tie, but close. You think about the tank full of live lobsters and that just conjures up thoughts of a delicious meal and an expensive bill. Fast forward 25 years and now as an adult, all of the allure is gone. This location is old and is really showing its age. The outside I think has been recently painted, but it still looks old and dirty. The inside isn’t much better. Looks like the whole place can use a thorough deep cleaning… and if the dining room is this bad, I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. We came on a weekday at 12:30 and it was pretty much empty. The endless commercials for endless shrimp were too much for me and my wife to resist. The server was nice, certainly not extraordinary but she did a decent job. The food was fair and served reasonably quick. I think every other patron in the place(all 10 of them) were also trying to eat their weight in shrimp. I think how they get you is your shrimp refills take longer and longer each time so eventually you get frustrated and just ask for the check. Only real complaint for the food would be the size of the baked potato that my wife got. So incredibly small that it seemed like it had more butter and sour cream than actual potato. Overall, it was ok but it certainly crushed that childhood allure that has stuck with me for so many years. For 2 people, no apps, and no booze we are talking $ 50. There are a lot of other sea food dining establishments in Houston where you will get much better food and service, so I think this will be our last visit.

Food and service was horrible. We vow never to come back. Not trying to be picky because I know the industry. It’s a rough job and customers can be difficult. But both of were previous servers who were appalled at the level of service for such a huge company, i would be embarrassed as the owner /manager. 1. Wasn’t greeted at the door. 2. Sat next to a table that had child playing full volume on his iPad. They moved us, but she wasn’t happy about it. Made it seem we were inconveniencing them 3. The drinks were made very poorly. 4. Server never even introduced himself or checked on the table. 5. Salads were brought with the wrong dressing, weren’t picked up until entrees arrived. 6. No biscuit replacement when others were eaten. 7. Only one of us wanted lemon in the water, instead of putting it on the side they put in both our drinks. 8. Entrees were terrible. My crab was still ice cold in the middle, they didn’t have potatoes or corn so they used frozen French fries in the bottom covered in butter, when my meal arrived it looked like brown mush that was so bad I couldn’t stand to eat it. My girlfriends food was okay, but it was soaked in butter and the scallops looked abysmal and flat and chewy. 9. To top off the worst meal of our life, The chefs added a little extra something to my entrée, it was a brown hair. The reason I know it’s theirs, I got one of their bakes and he pulled off the lid and the first thing I saw was the hair on top. 10. At this point we vowed never to come back, otherwise I would go on.

So after the last Unilocal elite event at Red Lobster, I was brought back to what Red Lobster is all about. The biscuits! DAMN I had totally forgotten how damn addicting these things were. Also, that the prices are actually much more affordable than I remembered as an adolescence. We came in for lunch and ordered the clam strips and stuffed mushrooms! Yes they were just as good as I recently had. For my entrée, I went with one of the mix and match samplers. I had the flounder stuffed with seafood, the shrimp pasta, and the fried oysters it came with broccoli and fries. It was sooooo much food. I had enough to bring home for another meal. This particular location does not get too busy during lunch, so it will be added to my rotation.

Lobsterfest… blah. It wasn’t worth the 30 minute wait. The place was trashed. There were chips on the floor across from us(empty booth) for about 45 min before anyone even bothered to clean it up. I ordered the fried lobster tail with shrimp. It wasn’t very memorable. My friend ordered a dish that had two lobster tails(broiled) — he gave me a piece and it wasn’t good at all even after I submerged it in the butter sauce. The best part of the meal was the appetizer — spicy shrimp. Those were good. Oh I also ordered a raspberry lemonade or something that had to be made at the bar and took forever… and then there was a piece of paper from the bar in the drink… blah. The biscuits which my friend said were so good were cold and soggy :-( I am definitely NEVER going back to a Red Lobster, no matter what people say…

I really feel like our server, I believe his name was Marcus, deserves this 5 star rating. My family came here to celebrate my grandparents’ 55th anniversary and Marcus took very good care of us. He was extremely polite and patient throughout our entire meal even with our multiple side order substitutions and didn’t question when my aunt asked for a bowl of buttered pasta for my younger cousin. Most places would say they can ask the kitchen or say whatever is on the kids menu is all they have… he simply responded by saying«Sure, a large or small portion?». He brought our drinks out very quickly and even knew to leave us straws and he refilled our biscuit baskets so they were always fresh and warm. Food is average at most and prices are as expected for American seafood. I would give it a 3 at best for food, but I just needed to mention how great service was so I gave them 5 stars!

With all the fantastic restaurant choices in Houston, I always wonder why my friends want to meet at a chain. I think I have it figured out: No surprises. Sometimes you want to sweeten the funny, bittersweet memories of crazy roommates, friends, exes, bosses, classes, exam cram all-nighters, and post finals partying, wedding day jitters, childbirth joys, with a strawberry daiquiri. Check. Sometimes you want to have those tasty daiquiris served by a college student who reminds you of your kid brother but seems to be trying out his«flirt with the almost-cougar«shtick(ouch). Check Sometimes you want to smooth down the sad impact of bumps in life’s road with creamy, cheesy, seafood mac and cheese. Check Sometimes you want to expel the impact of stressful moments with slightly overcooked lobster ideal for chewing away the memories of things gone(going) wrong. Check. Sometimes you want to enjoy the successes of your friends’ good luck with a warm melt-in-your-mouth cheese biscuit and nicely cooked, yet not too garlicky, shrimp scampi. Check. Sometimes you want to remember the tartness of the past, balance it with the sweetness of the present, and anticipate the smoothness of continued friendships as you nosh on the key lime pie. Check. The food at Red Lobster has no surprises. It does what it does unobtrusively. It lets you focus on friends and friendships. Check.
