Pho Phu Vuong

I have a new favorite quick Vietnamese restaurant. Had the ramen noodles with beef, all elements wonderfully flavored, and the beef was very tender. The pieces were a bit large, but they pulled apart when spread with chopsticks. Remember folks, noodle dishes are meant to be bit into, and then the remainder put back on the plate or bowl. You don’t have to jamb it in your mouth.
The Vietnamese egg rolls (cha gio) were done with a great filling, and the fish sauce was doctored to be far more flavorful than pungent.
Also had 2 bahn mi, pork and a combination. I loved the large piece meat on the combo. Each bite had distinguishable meat, all tender too. No stringy/​springy snap back in your face strips of meat.
Made with love, I could tell. I hope to try a bit of the Rare/​raw meat. Learn the cuisine folks, don’t scream about it. The raw beef is best with a hot soup for me. If you get it to go, warm the broth as hot as you can handle, and dunk it in to cook.

This place amazes me. 9 for top quality Phở, a fresh spring roll with amazing dipping sauce, a Coke and great service. Awesome

Just recently ate at this restaurant again with friends only to find that they have a new menu with the same items but at a higher price for select items.

I dined in when they first open, it needed a lot of work. I gave it another shot and ordered togo. I ordered the bun bo hue and it was kinda bland. There was a bun bo hue taste, but just not strong enough. Doesn’t help with the broth is quite translucent. Same goes to the Phở. As convenient this is place to me, my tummy doesn’t agree with the taste.
They do have a lot of other hot dishes, I will reconsider and give those a try another time.

I love their chicken phở! The best ever. I also love their fresh spring rolls. I will be back again!

It is the best Phở I have ever had and the employees are very nice. There was no wait time and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Tonight was my first time here and I was very impressed. It’s hard to find a good Vietnamese restaurant in the area and I live off of Fry Rd. The place is very clean and sanitized also the staff was very friendly. I personally ordered the phở and the pork spring rolls both were delicious and I could tell it was very fresh. I will definitely be going back can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!

Decided to try out the new kids on the block and I was not disappointed! Placed an order for delivery less than an hour to close, which I figured would affect our delivery time but I was wrong. Prompt delivery, great food (Phở Ga and Com Chien Duong Chau), and Texas sized portions. I will definitely be a repeat customer soon enough.

I will begin in saying that I love Vietnamese food.
I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants, and I have to say that I don’t think that they can compare to here. I have tried many of the chain restaurants, and Phở Phu Vuong’s egg rolls and spring rolls are still better. The phở’s are good, and the serving of noodles is very plenty with a good serving of meats.
Did I mention that I live three minutes away!! The delivery is fast while the food is still hot and is just perfect if I don’t want to drive three minutes to pick it up.
Very yummy sandwiches and their combination rice is just delicious!!!
They will even let you try any of their broths if you ask them to.
Everyone is super nice and have beautiful smiles ready to greet you and take care of you while you eat!!!

Finally a viet place that deliver, not the best choice but if you didn’t feel like driving on a rainy days and your out of option this might make the list.

This is a great new addition to the neighborhood. Good food, friendly staff and was willing to deliver to me the correct order after I got home and they had given me the wrong take out order. That is super customer service!

This place is a last resort to PHŌ. They get away with it because it’s in Katy. The service is terrible and it looks like an old McDonald’s…well b/​c it is an old McDonald’s! If they can get the service together and provide more fresh ingredients and sides I will give them another shot.

Ok I got a reply from this restaurant owner from my previous review. My respond … Really? The way you responded sound like… that the health inspector allows you to pack raw meat to customer for take out??? With the risk of contamination??? Why would you think for «take out» orders you expect your customer do part of the cooking? I was intending to eat the food at my evening school at first but since I forgot something I went home and that’s when I discovered the raw meat. The purpose of «take out» orders is to not make your customer do the cooking!!!
If you are taking that your customers are so stupid that we don’t mind eating raw meat… that is just disgusting!!!
As I told you guys on the phone… the problem was not what I ordered… I like Vietnamese food and I ordered something similar wherever I may be. The problem was, you packed raw meat together with the other cooked food which was disturbingly unhygienic that I didn’t eat it! THERE WAS NOTHING ON YOUR MENU MENTIONING THAT YOU SERVE RAW MEAT!!! And the lady who answered my phone told me that since I ordered it, I should eat it because that’s how it’s served!!!
I don’t care how unique your preparation of food but if you don’t put out a statement on your menu that you do serve raw meat, that is wrong!!! There are people WHO DON’T EAT BLOODY RAW MEAT!!!

This is our first time to try this place :)
The interior looks simple and peaceful ambiance, some flower paint picture frames, aquarium right when you enter the restaurant.
The staff were really nice and friendly, you can tell they are alert with their customers needs they walk around sometimes to check on you to ask how is the meal, if you need anything :) so nice!
We ordered these from the menu
*Bun Bo hue: the broth tasted sweet and good. I added the spices+shrimp paste that was served in small container, and added more squirts of sriracha. Since I am used with how Bun bo hue is served spicy already in other restaurants, trying this with its natural sweet flavor was something new for me and it tasted good at the same time :)
*Fried egg rolls (4): it looked quite soaked long in oil… the filling inside taste good though :)
*Com thit nuong bi hot ga: my husband ordered this, it was good flavor, good char with the meat.
*Yeong chow fried rice: it was a different taste from the usual Chinese style Yeong chow fried rice I eat. It tasted good, big size shrimps and good portion of sausages. So this would be the Vietnamese style Yeong chow fried rice :) it was good :)

Cannot say how very pleased we are with the great service and wonderful hospitality that we have received here. Their Vietnamese Egg Rolls are awesome. Mostly, we order To Go! The Com Rice is always delish. Have been trying new dishes but so far our favorite is fresh spring rolls and grilled BBQ beef sandwich. We were sad to see Macdonald’s close but find that our healthy lifestyle change is much better now that we are adding this great place for ease and convenient location. Highly recommend! Been waiting for this place to open.
Little disappointed however.
I ordered combination phở and soup was little too sweet for me.
I would have given them 3 or 4 stars but I got annoyed by servers. They run around with the water pitcher and played around too much.
They were joking around too much where it bothered me to focus on my meal.

My co-​workers and I have been waiting for this place to open and we were not disappointed! I got the chicken noodle soup and it was so scrumptious! I can’t wait to return to try the variety of items they have.

I don’t travel that often to the west side but when I do and I’m craving Vietnamese food I am pretty sad knowing that my options are pretty limited. Lucky for me this place just opened up replacing an old McDonald’s cranking out pretty solid Vietnamese food. I came here for their phở and they serve up a huge bowl of phở packed with noodles and meat. Their brisket is a little on the fatty side which is good. I also ordered some of their egg rolls and it was tasty. Overall, the place is very clean, the servings are big and the price is affordable.
