Good food and service. The Bò Lúc Lc and egg rolls are delicious. The smoothie drinks are great too. I usually try new dishes when I go and the staff steers me the right way when picking something new to try.

for the Capital of Viet food, Hai Van is good not great. They are quick and seamless but you wont find the freshest veggies and they notoriously run out of menu items. Solid pick for lunch or takeout though if you live in the vicinity. I would take seconds.

Lemongrass chicken vermicelli(7⁄10): The bowl came with a generous amount of vermicelli and vegetables(bean sprouts, cucumber, and some pickled carrots). The lemongrass chicken was savory and adds a different spin to your typical grilled chicken. The meat is also leaner. Add a splash of fish sauce, mix everything up, and ta-da you can dig in! I would definitely get this again. Shaking chicken with fried rice/Com chien ga luc lac(5⁄10): Eh. I expected more from this dish. The one from Kim Son is way better. I thought my chicken would be more lean like the vermicelli dish above. Don’t get me wrong, they do give you a lot of meat. It needs more fish sauce and oyster sauce. I thought some of the chicken pieces might be a bit under cooked. My boyfriend seems to like the beef version, so I would recommend getting that instead. On the weekend(for sure on Sundays), they have Mi Quang. This is a semi-soup rice noodles dish. Turmeric is added to give the noodles a more vibrant yellow color. There are shrimp, chicken, pork, sliced banana flower and some mint leaves in the dish. To eat it, you will need to mix all the ingredients together with the bone broth at the bottom of the bowl. I personally did not try this dish, but my friend ALWAYS get it when we go here. So it has to be good right? Service was good. The employee attempted to refill our water even though we were all done and paid for the meal already. You don’t have too many options around this area for authentic Vietnamese food, so I do recommend going here.

What can I say about this place? It’s the bomb! I’m a loyal customer I come in at least 3 times a week, order the same thing, which is regular spring rolls, and large bowl of chicken noodle soup, and omg. It’s amazing, the only thing is that they need more waitstaff, when I go, they get busy, and there is only 2 – 3 on the floor, so that’s what slows them down for others who have already been there, but other than that, I stick to what I get all the time. & also their combination fried rice is delicious as well. I’m never unsatisfied with my food when I go there, they’re the ones who made me love phó & possibly the only place I’ll go to. Thank you guys!

I have been to a couple of Vietnamese restaurants around the area, and so far this is our favorite! They have a good selection in their menu with affordable prices, and their serving portion is just right(not too big and not too small). The food is flavorful and prepared just how I like it! My favorite drink is the Thai tea. No refills on this one, though(I wish they had). Service is good and the wait isn’t long even on busy days.

I had pork vermicelli bowl with egg rolls. Egg rolls were alright. The bowl overall was average. The flies in the restaurant are kind of annoying. I’ll probably stick to hoang my down the road.

Hands down, the BEST phở you will ever have & I have had my fair share of phở. I swear I ate here 5 times a week when I was pregnant. I craved it all the time! lol. It’s a very home-y feeling spot, yes it may be considered a hole in the wall but don’t let that deter you… the food is amazing!

I did not want to branch out to Bellaire for good phở. I settled for this place and I have no regrets! Awesome vermicelli noodles with grilled pork. French bread was toasty and tasty. Will definitely be back for more.

Like many others, I grew up eating here. We’d have to drive a bit to get to this place, but it was definitely worth it. The phở has really good meat to noodles ratio(lots of meat!), and most Viet places don’t. They also serve iced Thai tea, which is for some reason hard to find around here for a decent price. The place could use a little more staff, but that’s the only real complaint I have that could be improved on. The people who did help us were very polite and nice.

I found this place on Unilocal on a quest to find good spring rolls, I really liked this place… small flaw… the rice paper not being as soft as if liked… I did enjoy it… the veggies were so fresh and the chicken was soo good. I even took my dad who is such a picky eater… My dad even went back on his own took my mom and loved it… He even went on the wild side and drank the chai tea. he said he loved it and will be back again.

Was cruzing for some good Vietnamese food on Unilocal and checked out some pictures… looked great. So I decide to check it out. Decent interior that was nice and spread out. I ordered the Bun Xao Xo Ot with chicken. Took longer than expected to receive my dish… but… it was worth the wait! I could tell they actually took the time to cook with very fresh ingredients ranther than prepared parts of the dish. The the flavor was great! A large portion as well. The sauce that comes with it has the perfect balance of sweet and salty to complement the dish. Exactly what I was looking for! The best vermicilli dish I have ever had. If you like Nobi I’m sure you will love this place! I’d much rather come here now. Almost gave it 4 stars but the deliciousness of the dish made up for the wait time

I love this phở restaurant. I always come here with my girlfriend. The best thing here is the spring roll, coconut juice, and phở! Clean, calm, and nice people here.
