Always a nice breakfast/Brunch place to go if you’re around the area. We love just about everything here. The coffee could be better, I don’t think they use filtered water. We went a couple months ago and the coffee smelled like that nasty city water. Use filtered water guys. Other then that, bacon is delicious, breakfast tacos are a delight on the go. The service is super quick. It’s a must check out in my book.

I usually hate breakfast foods BUT I’m a convert to happily eat breakfast here! This place exceeded my expectations! So satisfying! Will def be visiting again! I’m an avid Unilocaler so if it’s not 4 stars and/or above then I most likely won’t be visiting, just sayinn xD Cinnamon Coffee + Soy Milk 4⁄5: I usually shy away from cinnamon anything bc Americans tend to overdo the Cinnamon and I end up drinking the essence of Michael’s Craft Store… BLEGH. But I saw so many Unilocalers recommend this so I was like why not? It was so smooth and satisfying, nothing over powering like chai but had just a hint of Cinnamon. Warm, comforting and doesn’t give you coffee breath! Must Try! Shrimp and Bacon Grits 5⁄5: Secret off the menu dish! WOWLIKEWOWSOGOOD! I also used to hate grits before I tried this but I realized I’ve just been eating shitty grits LOL. Super flavorful! If the coffee doesn’t wake you up then the flavor in this def will! The bacon didn’t over power the shrimp, chives added a nice aroma and help cut up the heaviness of this dish. SOGOOD. Will only eat grits if it’s from here! That’s how good it it. I thought the portion size was on the smaller side but wait til you start eating, bc of the cheese and I think cream in it, it is quite heavy and ended up filling me up just a bit over just right. But then again I usually don’t even eat breakfast since I don’t like anything too heavy on the morning! Kinda heavy but SOSOWORTHIT! Turkey Sausage 1⁄5: Idk what happened but their turkey sausage had a really gamey/dirt/fertilizer after taste. Def do not recommend: X Crispy Peppered Bacon 4.5÷5: Much crispy. So thick. Much wow. Not many places serve thick bacon like this and legitly hard fry it correctly. Really good but very oily. It’s fried bacon so what do I expect right? But at least drain SOME of the oil off jeezus haha Denver Omelette 3⁄5: BF said it was good but not anything special. Also the hash browns that came with the omelette weren’t good like many other Unilocalers on here said as well. And bread is just bread lol.

We love to eat here for breakfast. Their breakfast tacos and pancakes are my favorite menu items. Service is always great and the breakfast menu is too. I can’t say the same about lunch. It wouldn’t be my first pick for lunch in this neighborhood.

Bookmarked this place and I had the honor to take a patient here with me to enjoy a morning breakfast. They are a little hidden in a corner but it wasn’t hard to find but parking can be packed! Fortunately, there are plenty of spots but it won’t be super close or anything. Upon walking in I get that southern country feel in the ambience. It was mainly sunlit in the whole place and it was self-serve type so just grab a menu, place your order, and sit down until they call your name or order. I wanted to try their french toast after seeing a video about this place and seeing their french toast made my mouth water. So I ordered two slices of French toasts topped with strawberries, bananas, blueberries and nuts. I ordered on the side of two eggs over easy and hash browns. My patient got the chicken and waffles. We both also got their fresh squeezed orange juice. The cashier was warm and friendly. Our food came out in a reasonable manner and looked amazingly delicious. The French toasts were bigger than I thought! I definitely taste the brioche and it was warm and fluffy and of course, tasty! I loved the toppings that came with it but I could not eat the second slice! I had to finish my eggs. The only small complaint I have is their hash browns. It was wayyyy too salty. Luckily the French toast made it easy for me to eat some but I didn’t finish it at all. My patient’s chicken and waffles were delicious according to him. I didn’t try it. If I am ever near the area and craving some French toasts I will be back for that. For everything else I probably go somewhere close by.

Good Tex-Mex breakfast but man is it a lot of food on that giant plate. I don’t think it’s healthy to be eating that much egg and cheese. But then again, I’m a wimpy ass Californian who eats kale and drinks cold-pressed juices. In fact, this restaurant has a «Californian» breakfast, which is like spinach and egg whites. Needless to say, it probably tastes like crap. I got a Tejan, which was BOMB. Delicious, although the grits were a bit too cheesy for me. I think next time I’ll ask for hash browns instead of grits.

Meh. I want to like this place. I really do. I just don’t. I’ve been twice now, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times I found my food to be greasy and lacking flavor. I got a piece of chocolate cake at lunch that tasted like it had been sitting out for a week. I let them know and got chocolate chip cookies instead but… Yeesh! I hate having to return food. :-/ Long wait in line and then a long wait on food both times. Not a fan.

We use to come here almost ever weekend for breakfast. Won’t be back. Today we were here and owner wasn’t. Place sux when owner not present. The pancake was cold and we took it back and told them. The server behind counter was rude threw plate and asked if we wanted it worked or a new one. Really? When got new one it was barely warm. Cheese grits were cold also.

Got the Relleno(which means stuffed) — stuffed and batter-fried pepper served with a heap of refried beans and pico de gallo was more than enough to stuff me! Rich but yum. The menu is extensive and ranges from breakfast classics to lunch items with daily special updates. I wouldn’t come here to work — it’s not quite a café in that the atmosphere tends to be a bit on the loud side despite the older crowd; there is much chatter, and most importantly, it felt stuffy/humid inside the restaurant. Wifi is available but not very strong and I lost connection before moving to a tea house in the same plaza. That said, the staff is nice and the place is clean, so it’s a decent breakfast/brunch/lunch option. I would say 3.5 stars.

I make a point to come here for breakfast every time I’m in Houston. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I’m especially fond of the jalapeño cheese grits.

If I could only order one thing here(which would be difficult because their food is amazing) it would be the jalapeño cheese grits. YUM. Pair it with some biscuits, and you will be guaranteed to have a great day. I’ve only been here for weekend brunches, but it’s a great breakfast spot to bring your family. You will see all sorts of people here– young couples, families, or groups of friends gathered to enjoy delicious food.

I have to admit I really like Pecan Creek grille. While Houston has some decent breakfast places, there are a few are good enough for me to comeback too. Pecan Creek is one of those breakfast places. They have a large variety of country breakfast foods. Everything I have had on the menu have been delicious. The prices are good and the portions are very generous. Also the coffee is good, my wife loves their cinnamon coffee. I like it better than the cinnamon coffee at Buffalo Grill.

This place is wonderful. Everything we’ve had is delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. there’s lots of healthy options. Instead of hash browns you can have fresh or roasted tomatoes. They also have a big selection of sauces and condiments. All varieties of Tabasco, chalula and other popular hot sauces. My favorite is the homemade salsa that you scoop into cups. Yumalicios! But food is so good doesn’t really need anything unless you just like the extra kick to add to the flavor. It gets crowded and line can get long, tables hard to find… So get here early for yummy treat!

If I could I would have breakfast here everyday, the jalapeño grits are something you should try before you die. They come standard with the Texan breakfast. Next time I’m going to try though chicken and waffles.

Seems like no matter the time, this place is always packed… good sign. The fare here is comfort food, think chicken fried steak, pulled pork hash browns, eggs your way, burgers, etc. Every plate I see pass by looks delish, and I’m hungry! Hot hot coffee and fresh squeezed oj in the morn, can’t go wrong there. Assortment of brewed teas for those Texas tea lovers. Pretty sure one can find something tasty off their menu, browse and take your time… you can always come back to try something new

I ordered the All-American, a single large pancake, and a cup of coffee. My husband ordered the Belgian waffle and the Texan with an orange juice. Our total at the register was $ 36. They charged us for the bananas in my pancake batter, the blueberries and strawberry toppings on my husband’s waffle and we also got charged an upcharge bcs I wanted BOTH sausage and bacon — which were both super yummy. They don’t charge if you only chose one or the other. I loved my pancake. The coffee is delicious. The coffee cup & plates were hot to the touch — means clean to me. My husband hated his waffle but I say he’s just hard to please. He loved his jalapeño grits thou. We’ll definitely be coming again!

This little spot is a nice addition to this shopping center. You walk in and it takes you back in time(somewhat). There is the country style to the place and the food is pretty darned good. The pancakes are good, but the chicken and waffles are great! The chicken is perfectly seasoned. Don’t take my word for it. Stop in and try something.

Pecan Creek Grille is like a diner mixed with a Texas Roadhouse grille. It’s a big place, farm-esque, cozy, and filled with bacon and syrup aromas. When you get there you order at a counter and choose your own table. It was packed when I went, which may explain why the lady at the cash register seemed a little flustered and not the brightest peach on a Sunday morning. Near the pickup counter there’s a big shelf filled with different hot sauces and salsas to spice up your breakfast, which I loved. They also have three different types of coffee. I recommend the Cinnamon flavor. My California omelet was a little bland but the salsa they offered helped it out a bit. What didn’t need any extras was the jalapeño cheese grits. DONOT go to Pecan Creek Grille without ordering these bad boys. They’re heavenly. All in all it was a decent breakfast. Would I run back? Maybe to try the pancakes instead of an omelet. And to get a take home tub of grits.

First let me list all of the food that we had at our table: French toast Pancakes Shrimp and grits American breakfast Chicken fried chicken(with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese) Breakfast taco Out of ALL of that the only things that get honorable mentions would have to be the French toast and chicken fried chicken. The food was much prettier than what it tastes like. My husband specifically asked for his pancakes to be cooked a certain way, and they were cooked the complete opposite. The price is what earns this a three star rating. If it was more expensive I would give it a 2. Long story short, if you have a go-to breakfast/lunch spot… go there instead.
