We haven’t been here for more than a year. The food was always good. But the service is terrible. Tried to place an order on the phone and after 10 minutes of waiting the girl hung up on me.

First off, the ac was not working. It was hot as balls in there and noone was even there. I had the Redfish and lobster. The lobster sauce was a orange gross looking color and the taste was bland as hell. Overpriced and overated.

Went to the all u can eat snow crab night on Wednesday the 18th. Was surprised there was only about 12 other people there, it was about 6p.m. The crab is what it is at Joe’s, previously frozen, boiled and seasoning added. For $ 30 you ain’t gonna Do much better unless you buy at store and cook em yourself. Yea some of the shells came out kinda soft and rubbery but if you know how to use the yellow plastic shell splitter it shouldn’t be a problem. Service was awsome by our waitress, we never waited on anything. Will be back this Wednesday as well and hope to get her section again. Worth the 30% tip she got.

I really should have gotten the clue from there being no cars in the parking lot. I have tried this place a couple times in the last few years and keep hoping for something new. So far this hasn’t happened. I even signed up to get their specials and have not gone back for a free appetizer, I went with 3 other people and everyone asked why we chose this place. Tea glasses were left empty several times, I will wait until I see the parking lot full before i give this place a try again, I have heard that they have done away with tipping but raised the prices on the menu, This wont work for me, I am happy to tip 20% for service but not 20% more for so so food,

Horrible. The lobster was overcooked to the point of being completely mush. It was water logged, and had absolutely no flavor. The corn was old, and should have been thrown away before even being cooked. Sausage link was also water logged; I didn’t know that was possible, but the awful cooks at Joe’s figured out how to do it. The crab leg shells were so rubbery from being overcooked, the crab crackers were useless. For a Friday night at peak time, there were lots of open tables, with plenty of servers wandering around. However, that didn’t help getting good service any. Our servers, we had two, were both forgetful and slow. They had to be reminded to bring a drink to the table, and we never did get a to go box for my son’s chicken nuggets. Sadly the kids chicken nuggets and fries were the best part of the meal. Never going back.

I have eaten at MANY Joe’s Crab Shacks… this one is horrible. Went on a Sunday, around 8PM while traveling back to Alabama. 1) beer was flat. 2) completely forgot the soup. Had to remind the waitress twice. 3) hardly enough crab legs for $ 30. 4) the bar was filthy, wiped down with an even dirtier rag. 5) the men’s room looked like it hasn’t been checked all day. 6) not exactly the safest area either. Avoid this place.

Why all the Joe’s hate? We went on the«All you can eat crab night»(Wednesdays). Our service was good and the crab was way better quality than the Red Lobster crab we had maybe a week before. I have been to other Joe’s and haven’t been happy(I’m looking at you, now closed, Sugar Land location) but this one was more than satisfactory. If it were closer to where we live perhaps we would go more but it’s not… such is life.

Worst Joes experience ever. Service was awful, I never expect it to be great here. I just want the basics drinks, hot food, and a bill to pay. I had to ask for all three. It was not even half full. We were outside the server came by and said have you been waited on yet? No, stupid question from the person who’s supposed to wait on you. Should had left then, all downhill from there. Cold food, no drink refill, and had to find a way to pay for the food. No one around only dirty tables with good on them. It was like the staff just gave up. After l stood up and waved my hands in the air like a idiot someone ask if I needed something. A few minutes later the my server gave me a bill. But wait the server book given to me had someone else’s bill, even better it had $ 60 in the book. Should I really give this person my credit card? Never will I ever spend another dollar in this place. If it were free I wouldn’t even return to this location. Way to go you ruined my kids favorite place to eat and play.

A HUGE improvement from last year. I received a couple of Joe’s gift cards for Christmas this past year and I was afraid to tell my mother that I didn’t like Joe’s anymore. Boy was I wrong about judging them based on my previous experience. The food that we ordered,(bucket of Crabs) was so wonderful that we even went back last weekend to eat more. The employees were doing a much better job as well. It’s a little expensive,(about $ 30 each with drinks and tip) but for special occasions, it works well for my little family. We left with full stomachs but not feeling greasy sick like we felt a year ago.

I haven’t gone to a Joe’s Crab Shack in YEARS, but I was having a seafood craving and it was nearby so I figured I would go. I like the décor of the restaurant but the booths were a little tight and definitely not enough space for my party of 4. Our waitress was very nice but since there was a big party there, our drinks were empty for a while and only refilled once. Our food took a while to get to us and was cold. I order the Cajun steam pot that included crabs, shrimp, potatoes, and sausage. It was plenty of food but I was disappointed at the fact that it was cold when it got the the table.

Wow! This meal definitely renewed my faith and interest in Joe’s Crab Shack! Scott, our wait staff, and Margo, who made me THEBEST margarita EVER! We’re exceptional! My three boys had crab and were very happy, and my spicy shrimp was perfect! Thank you«corporate» Joe’s Crab! We’ll definitely drop by THIS location when near Houston and bypass the 45north and even Galveston locations too. Thanks for happy family memory! Y’all are Awesome!

I was pleasantly surprised when I came into this place for the first time. The place was decorated with the Holiday décor for the Christmas season along with their aquatic style and you can’t help but noticed the disco ball and lights on the ceiling. The hostess greeted us and apologized for the wait. We were seated in a few minutes though and didn’t wake that long. We sat in a booth and came specifically this day for the all you can eat snow crabs. It came in different flavors and I tried the garlic herb and ginger sesame only. Our buckets of crabs came out in a reasonable time and I enjoyed each one. I think I ate 3 rounds of garlic herb and 1 round of ginger sesame. Only the first bucket came with a corn on the cob and potatoes with your crabs. I came with my sister and her bf and we were there for 2 hours just cracking and biting our crabs to devour. It was delicious and I was surprised of the taste. Although I still opt for regular boil and no seasonings I still enjoyed it for all you can eat for 29 $. Not so bad. The service was great and our waitress was friendly and attentive. I might be back again for the all you can eat snow crabs.

So since the day I came back from Joe’s Crab Shack, I have had diarrhea at least 6 times a day from that place. I’m going to make an appointment with a doctor, because my bowels haven’t subsided, and I’ve eaten here quite a bit and I know for sure something in the food wasn’t right that day. I ate the big daddy lobster plate. I’m on the freakin toilet right now writing this and it’s no laughing matter. I really feel sick

Rough start, smooth finish. We were seated right away, but then they forgot about us. 10-mins after being seated & reading the menu several times, the busboy finally asked us if we’d been served. He brought our drinks & finally we got a server, Scott. He was awesome, knew the menu, & made great recommendations. Thanks to Scott our dining experience was a success. Thank you Scott. Food taste and presentation was ok, nothing spectacular.

Let’s face it, there are so few seafood places like it. If someone comes here for anything except crab I don’t understand them. This would not be the ace I would go for fish. So let’s talk crab. The buckets and boils are fantastic. A good choice of types of crab and a fair number of seasonings. I would always like my Cajun spicy boil to be a bit hotter but that’s me. Service has ranged from fantastic to OK but never bad. I take it for what it is, high school or college students. The key lime pie is a 2 person dessert and not mind-blowing but I want something smooth, cool and a lite sweet after crab.

Service was really slow, no one came to our table for a good 30 minutes. Had to call the restaurant phone number and even then took another 10 minutes. Manager came and talk to other patron and even him did not acknowledge me and my daughter. Waiter finally show up and apologize. The one star is for him. Other customers came in after me and we’re help within 5 minutes.

The food here is awesome. I use to work here and was happy to get the 50 percent off because I love the steam pot . The service here is good I would recommend getting the Rajun Cajun steam pot. It is amazing . My last time there I got the Shrimp Alfredo. It was beyond amazing . 5 star. Only one bad experience is with one assistant manager his name is Nate. Makes me feel unwelcome, he’s always staring at me like I am going to do something. When all I am trying to do is order my food, eat and go on about my business. I understand I use to work there and you don’t particularly like me but damn I am still a customer who is paying full price and giving your waiter a 50 percent tip. Nate would literally pace himself around my table just to see if I am going to do something bad. Like really dude? He just comes back and forth to check and see what I am doing. That makes my dining experience very awkward. If it wasn’t for the food and my friends who serve there I would not recommend coming here. I still give it 5 stars for the food and service. I am not going to give it a 2 or 3 star because of one person stupidity…

We’ve been here a few times for lunch on the weekends and it’s always pretty empty. I’ve never had a problem with the service or food quality. Twice now I’ve gotten the steampot original and the crab legs are yummy! You get corn, potatoes and sausage with it and also melted butter. The appetizers are good and large enough to share. We like coming here for a more casual environment and good seafood.
