The food was tasty! The service was mediocre — the waitress really did try to accommodate us but we were assigned to her and completely out of her section. We did get a free appetizer(our coupon expired a month prior!) She didn’t even mention it, extra star earned!

Worst experience ever. The hosts were horrible. We asked to sit in the dinning area and they said that we couldn’t because it was 2hrs from closing and its slow and that we had to dine in the middle(near the lobby). After we were seated I saw literally at least 10 different customers being seated in the dining areas that we requested. Service took forever and was probably a 1 out of 10. After being seated I had to ask the manager for breadsticks(which is something you usually get once seated) and still didn’t receive them for another 20mins. Saw our server only twice and had to wave the manager down to get a to go box and the check. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

So we came to Olive Garden from our lunch break party of 3. We got there everything was fine they greeted us and we ordered our food. Then we received our salad and pasta entrees except I was missing my spaghetti and my friend missing her salt and pepper and we needed more salad more soup. Ok so just wanted to leave this review to let you guys know that PATRICKTHEMANAGERWASAMAZING! HE right there receives a 5 star review and waiter well 1 star since he never even came back to apologize for the service all I heard from him was rushing around our table saying«you see guys I’m working» which he was but that is NOT the way to express himself to customers. Also Patrick helped with our bill since our waiter had us swipe it on the machine and charged the wrong item. since we split the bill. So there comes Patrick again to the rescue. And FOODWASAMAZINGTASTE, HOT, DELICIOUS. 5 on that. BTW made us late to work for the hold up :(

This is the newest Olive Garden location in Houston and only one in five in the country with OG’s new décor. Keeping up with the new theme, OG has recently introduced a bunch of new appetizers and entrees. Some of my favorite new items include the lasagna fritta, mozzarella sticks(not a new item but new recipe), and the risotto bites. For lunch, the chicken parm sandwich on OG’s classic breadsticks is a winner. Ended up trying one of their new items the chicken con broccoli pot pie. Props for some creativity. Pasta in a pot pie, nice! This large pot pie is filled with cavatappi pasta, grilled chicken, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce. Not amazing but good enough and I like the idea. Service was good. The waiter was friendly and took care of us. I’m not huge on chains but if I’m going to go to a chain then OG is up there.

Finally A Olive Garden Near Montrose Went for dinner and had no waiting time Which was really nice. Our waitress was on top of our service and very pleasant. Too bad the food was not as great We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana plate each The chicken was nice and hot while the spaghetti was cold and over cooked… This New Olive Garden is beautiful inside hopefully the management will get it together With the kitchen team for our next visit.

New Location. Terrible Service. Our waiter brought our drinks and then disappeared for over 30 minutes. Another waiter had to come take our food order, but our original waiter magically reappeared after we had our food and brought us our bill. Not going back.

WORSESERVICEEVER!!! Why do I have to keep looking for our server when we need something? And that light to call her DOESNOT work when she’s not around and the rest of the servers just looks at it and IGNORES it. Refills on drinks? What refills? She’s NOT around and when she or the other servers does comes by and sees it’s empty they ignore it! Where do you find these people from? The other Olive Gardens I’ve been to have way better service than this!

This is my first time in Olive Garden and I’ve honestly never been this disappointed with the way service was provided. My family and I came to eat dinner on a Sunday afternoon after church, there was a 15 minute wait(which is completely understandable for a weekend). We got sat and that’s when the problems started. We waited at least 15 – 20 minutes for ANYONE to notice us. They sent their hostess(very sweet girl) to come take our drink order. Probably, 5 minutes after she came by a server came to present himself and asked us for drinks AGAIN. I’m a server, and to be completely honest, it’s appreciated to only speak to one person while eating out. After he came ANOTHER server came and asked us if we needed anything. I understand that it’s a weekend and it might be a little busy but there’s no need to see more than 1 server. We were brought out salad and breadsticks probably 25 minutes after we were sat. That’s very disappointing. As soon as we got our salad and breadsticks ANOTHER server came to ask us if we were okay and we said«yes, we’re ready to order». Instead of being professional and saying«let me get your server» he walked away without saying a word and didn’t even take our order! At this time we were already waiting for about 40 minutes to place our order. Not only that but we ordered 5 sweet peach teas and and they were SO watered down it tasted just like water! If you’re going to send someone to take drink orders at least make sure you have the drinks she’s offering. We sat for 50MINUTES to place our order. That is HORRIBLE service to say the least. We saw 4 servers in the matter of 50 minutes and until we hit 50 minutes someone took our order. My cousin had to speak to a manager for someone to come and take our order. Now let’s just hope the food is up to par.

Aside from the greeter being a little curt about whether or not a server that my wife and daughter had the day before was working today, the service was very good, we were seated promptly at a booth(this is a major plus for us, as we like booths). Our server — she called herself a «waitress,» a term I haven’t heard in quite a while — was Jamie. Jamie was very pleasant, personable, and made us feel quite at home with her attentiveness and pleasant conversation. She also served us well, explained the tablet-like device on the table, and the menu items, so that we knew what we were ordering. The manager of this establishment — Lou Speaks; and when Lou speaks, people listen… — must be doing something right, because all of the wait staff at this particular establishment performed their jobs well. Even though this is a chain, the food tasted very good: even better than I remember from previous experiences: hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. Overall, we had a very good meal, and a very enjoyable, relaxed time. If this particular Olive Garden keeps up this standard, we will certainly make this one of our ‘go-to’ spots for a family meal.

I told myself I’d stop eating at Italian chains, but this brand new Olive Garden off 59 is a reason I believe in second chances. What a place! Huge parking lot, huge restaurant, and unlike some other OGs I’ve visited, you actually have space between your table and the next party. This is the first time I feel like I haven’t had to yell at my tablemates to hear one another. The building is spacious, artsy, and it looks great. The service is fast and helpful as well. In addition to the endless salad and breadsticks that always win me over, I had my heart stolen by the chicken gnocchi soup this time. Simple, savory, and hearty, I had multiple bowls of this stuff, and was quite impressed. Olive Garden has proven itself reliable for a night of Italian feasting once again.

******This review is strictly about the security of this restaurant**** We went there on a Friday night and our car window was broken when we came out, we informed the manager and she was very courteous but told us there was nothing they can do, and this has been happening a lot, wait… this has happen a lot and you guys have not been doing anything about it! Park at your own risk is basically a little sign posted on the light pole said. Needless to say we will never be back at this location.

Olive Garden was once a reliable spot for good Italian, back when they first opened for maybe about three years. I cannot see how they remain open — other than to cater to bored lunch crowds who just want to find something ‘different’ in the way of not dining on sandwiches or takeout every day. I will say they are very friendly at this location and I’m happy to give two stars for that. The food quality, however, is comparable to that of frozen prepared meals, with the added disadvantage of having to pay an extra $ 4-$ 5. Today I ordered the Citrus Chicken Sorrento — great ingredients, terrible quality. The sauce was borderline congealed honey flavored lemon juice and the chicken appeared to have been microwaved — dry as a bone and tough as a boot. The vegetables had been murdered senselessly in what seemed like a scalding vat of steam and sadness. We can pretty much end this review on that note. Also my iced tea had dark colored floaties swimming around — my guess is the tea dispenser needs a good washing and disinfecting. For $ 18 I expect more — much much more. Two stars– one for friendly server and one for quick service(can you say microwave?)

Great service, we were greeted and seated right away, they were not busy. I loved the tablet on each table you can order appetizer play games and even pay your check. I had chicken Alfredo and side of salad. ill be back again for sure!

Why would you ever go to the Olive Garden when you can have *real* food(i.e. not processed and freshly prepared?) Every time a friend chooses to have an event at any Olive Garden location, a little piece of my soul dies. Pros: Good service, brand new everything, digitized ordering for apps, plenty of parking.

The food? Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the toasted ravioli for an appetizer and braised beef and tortellini for your main dish. Breadsticks and salad were wonderful per usual. The environment was surprisingly quiet even though the parking lot was full. The décor and music was also a huge plus. The only problem was our waitress. We had to wait 30 minutes to get breadsticks, soup, and salad. We also ordered an appetizer that was still not given to us by the time we got the food. We ended up canceling it. The waitress blamed the kitchen explaining that they didn’t tell her it was finished. My friend was fairly annoyed with the service and ended up not giving her a tip. Of course this experience would not have happened if it were not for lack of oversight. Surely management must notice this sort of incompetence? They should have higher standards when hiring employees. Other then the waitress, the service was great! We will definitely be back.

This is a relatively new location of this chain. I was immediately impressed with the ample parking and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. There is something about being in new surroundings that just makes things taste a bit better. Our waiter, David, provided top-notch service. He offered everyone a complimentary sample of red wine. I think it was a pinot noir. Regardless, that was a nice touch. He didn’t pressure anyone to purchase it which was quite impressive. The food came out after a normal amount of waiting. The salad was crisp and fresh, the breadsticks were fresh and not warmed-over, and the chicken gnocchi soup was plentiful. The price was right and the service was good. I will go again.

Very good ambiance although since its brand new, though there was very few other customers inside when we went(4pm on a Monday). We sat at the bar and had Jasmine assist us with drinks and food(it was happy hour and she was absolutely wonderful!) Got two fruity drinks — $ 4 each(something lemon and something mango if I remember correctly — the lemon cello was awesome, good mix of tart and rum! The mango drink was a bit overly sweet.) Got happy hour appetizer(artichoke fritatta — also $ 4) that was ok; though lacking in flavor, the crunch was nice. The dip was unnecessary and didn’t do much more than add creamy calories to my bite. We also got a white fish entre with broccoli. Both were very good, moist fish with some lemon notes and perfectly steamed broccoli that could have used a touch of butter and salt. Getting the check was a bit suprising since we had mostly ordered off the happy hour menu. Almost $ 50 with tip, which means the entrees are very overpriced IMO. Obviously you pay for that«free» salad and breadsticks in the cost of the entrée.

Sunday my son and I went after church. We were pleasantly surprised when our entire meal was complimentary. This restaurant has new and different vibe and I love it. Wait staff was friendly and food was delicious. I have the rosemary garlic chicken with spinach and mashed potatoes. It was so juicy and flavorful. Will be going back.
