I went here looking for pants. I asked an employee where the fitting room was and she pointed to the mirrored wall and then continued to work while saying, «you need someone to open them». Okay so I waited, then she asked her coworker to open the fitting room for for me. I then waited in line for 15 minutes to check out. When I got to the register, I noticed that the pants I had picked out were not on sale. I told the cashier that the pants were in the front of the store with a sign that said $ 20. She then said well that’s only on select styles… False advertising. I left and didn’t buy anything. Total waste of time! Never again!

Ugh! I really hate to slam New York & Company, but they have let me down once again. I thought since this location is new(not new to Memorial City Mall, but they recently relocated within the mall) perhaps they’d have their act together. Not the case. I had ordered some items online that were to be fulfilled by Memorial City Mall location for in store pickup. I was expecting two blazers and a pair of pants. I get there and they don’t have the pants. Oh, but let me back track. it took them a good ten minutes of running around and looking for the pants before they gave me this paltry excuse«Well, we probably do have the pants but it’s likely they’re in a box of inventory that we haven’t unpacked yet.» Okay! Then why the hell did I receive a confirmation that my order was fulfilled and ready for pick up?! Seriously. And on top of that, they couldn’t refund me for the pants in the store because it was an online purchase. I’m beyond sick of the unhelpful, uneducated, UNPROFESSIONAL staff at New York & Company. The clothes are great, and priced to sell, but I’m not sure if I can handle all the drama for some damn clothes.

I am a repeated customer and enjoy shopping at New York & Company located in the Memorial city mall. Lately I’ve seen unusual conduct; a new store manager by the name of «Jillian» who is extremely rude to her employees in front of customers, very unprofessional, unorginized and unhelpful to customers. I constantly leave clothes on hold and come back the next day to make my purchases. When I do return representatives inform me that the store manager«Jillian» requested employees to put back all iteams. So I constantly have to go back and find the iteams and try on clothes again EACHTIME; I’ve repeatedly over hear her complaining to her employees demanding them to stay longer that she strongly needs their help and can not deal with the floor or cashier. How is that so… Is this new store manager constantly sitting in the back not doing nothing and going over her hours just to have a bigger pay check? Is this the reason why she demands employees to stay longer? I am positive that this location goes over their hours do to the fact that this store manager is unable to do her duties. If this location makes their day I am 100% sure it is the other employees hard work and not this new store managers. I strongly recommend upper management to look into this store manager«Jillian» or have her replaced.
