Definitely the WORSTSERVICE I have ever gotten in a Houston bar. I only came here cause it was the closes to me and I also wanted to try out their food but once i got there, the bartender was somewhat rude when I ordered my beer. After giving my beer, she just walked away and never asked me once if I was hungry even thou I was reading the menu. Like i said, WORSTSERVICEEVER !!!

I’ll keep this brief. If you want a bar where the staff is unattractive, unkempt, rude, and incompetent, this is your place. The drinks are weak, we have to flag the staff down EVERYTIME we want to be served, and when we finally do get service, the staff acts very irritated with us. We are great bar patrons and deserve better than this. I hope you do too.

Mikes is fun. No pretense, Jackie is a blast, Teresa shares great stories, and Stephanie runs a tight ship. I always have a great time when I visit! They have reliable bar food and a few regulars who keep the place friendly.

The shuffleboard is fun but the regular crowd is a little intimidating. They made fun of me for having to go to the bathroom during a dart tournament. I had the onion rings and they did not agree with my stomach. I needed relief as soon as possible. The toilet was not handing my destruction well so it took many flushes to get it down. I then came back, had a cold beer waiting for me, and it was my turn to throw. I needed Immodium the next day to sort of plug me up a bit.

My first thought when walking in is that the place is lacking in ambiance, as in, there is none. Our group got some cold stares which could have been due to many factors: age, race, clothing, etc etc. The bartender was rude and I could probably get her fired for discrimination(if I didn’t feel bad about people being jobless these days that is). I could have overlooked everything except the latter. Stay away, there’s plenty of other neighborhood bars to go to.

Whooooaaah holy moly did we have a horrendous experience here! I hesitate to disclose the details of the interaction that transpired(it was THAT unpleasant) but the bartender here majorly dissed one of the girls I was with based strictly on her appearance. And then when a member of my group kindly asked the bartender to keep it down because what she said was offensive enough to make the girl cry(my girlfriend wasn’t within earshot, but the bartender was getting increasingly louder and more irate), the bartender continued to be a major jerk about it.
If you really want to know the details, you can message me, but wow, I am still really disgusted by the exchange that occurred. RUDE! Also this place is a little. .. creepshow nation. Definitely an older crowd(mean age was probably mid forties?) looking like could use a collective mass bathing. I’m being pretty jerk-like right now, but it’s true. Anyway, we promptly left after the bartender exchange and sought out drinks down the street.

I have been here twice to see one of my favorite local bands. That is the only reason I went and I don’t think I will ever go back again regardless of the band playing. This place is not set up for a band. There is no dance floor — we had to create one by moving tables around. And the setup is weird with the bar up on a stage and tables scattered around. Just a basic dumpy place.

I tried to set up a large party event and left three messages and dropped in twice in person. I was told that I would be in contact with the GM, but I never got a call back. I read somewhere that they cater to large parties. In the voice of Hurley from LOST: «Bummer dude»! We took our clientele elsewhere.
