Mitra is a godsend. After numerous bad, misshaped haircuts I finally stumbled upon her through Unilocal.Finally, someone who knew exactly what I was looking for!
She listens, understands, and remembers — no surprises when you go for a cut. Always consistent service. Bonus: your choice of beverage! The hot towel and shoulder massage before the cut is pretty relaxing as well.
Making appointments is a breeze and she’s always prompt. Highly recommend to anyone who’s frustrated with inconsistency and service at the big chains.

I am one of those people who always looks terrible the first 2 weeks after a haircut. Not with Mitra. I drive 20 min out of my way to go to the only person who can make my hair look great on day 1 of the cut. Doesn’t matter if I was getting a trim or cutting away 5 months of shag from my head — Mitra does what’s most important in a haircut: make it look normal from the minute I step up from the chair

Mitra G. is the best. She has a great sense of style and knows exactly how to make my hair look its best every time. Not only that, she offers wonderful service beyond the usual expectation, making an otherwise necessary but tedious experience into a real pleasure. I had my first appointment with Mitra on Saturday and it was a great experience. She was very accommodating to schedule me in as a new client on the same day so I was thankful for that. My cut is excellent and she was very thorough and shows attention to detail which I love. I am very picky about my hair and she has it looking better than it ever has. I expect that I will become a long time fan of Mitra’s haircuts.

I’m a perfectionist, and details are very crucial to me! Mitra does an exquisite job of satisfying my perfectionist views. She cuts, trims, colors, and highlights my hair. I have always loved her attention to detail. Whenever I go to get my hair done, she always welcomes me with a warm smile, and complimentary beverages (coffee, tea, and cocktails). I sit back and enjoy the lovely background music, and wonderful conversations. In addition to doing my hair, Mitra gives the most stylish haircuts, facials, and beard trims to my husband. We both enjoy her services, and would most certainly recommend her!

Bad haircuts are a huge nuisance. Everyone has had to deal with one at some point. I moved to Houston 5 years ago and I’ve been going to Mitra for the last 3. Honestly will never let another person cut my hair as long as she is in business. She hasn’t given me even a decent cut in all that time, every cut has been excellent. Can’t recommend her skills highly enough.

I used to hate getting a haircut. For some unknown reasons I couldn’t convince myself to have my hair cut more than twice a year. Two years ago, someday in March was a turning point for me when I got a head and shoulder massage with a hot towel before getting my haircut. I got the most detailed attention ever that anybody can get for a haircut. Mitra also generously offers you coffee, drink, water, and etc.
The bottom line is Mitra is the one who totally changed my viewpoint. Nowadays, I cannot wait until next month to see her to not only get my haircut but also get my head and shoulder massage and enjoy talking to her while I’m drinking my coffee.
Thank you Mitra for providing such a great atmosphere.

There is no one in Houston that will give you the attention to detail that Mitra does for a haircut. I’ve been going to Mitra now for about 2 years and now that I moved, I still make the trip every 2 weeks to Mitra.
I go every 2 weeks for haircut, trim my goatee and some waxing of the wild hairs. Mitra doesn’t miss anything and I appreciate her attention to the details.
Because I travel a lot on business, Mitra has come in on her day off to take care of me.

If you want a great haircut, come see Mitra. She has been cutting my hair for two years now and I refuse to go anywhere else! She always takes her time; never rushing you out of the chair. Mitra is the best hair stylist you can find in Houston! I’ve been her customer for the past two years and been extremely pleased with my hair cuts. Mitra is very flexible to give you an appointment to accommodate your busy schedule. She greets you professionally with a smile. She offers you a cold or hot drink of your choice. Then she Asks you about your hair cut needs, then she spends the rest of the time focusing on giving you the look you deserve. She washes your head at the end, and give you a hot towel facial massage. She also massage your scull, neck, and shoulder. The hot towel facial massage is the best thing ever. Mitra is professional and detail oriented. She is smart and have a positive attitude. I highly recommend her to anyone!
