Came in today for a color and cut. Told Hang an idea I had for the color and told her she had free reign to take it to the next level. As a result … I LOVE it!!! The color looks absolutely awesome! Hang always takes her time and most importantly, she makes sure I leave with healthy hair. Thanks Hang for making me look and feel like a superstar!!!

My brother has always cut my hair but since he’s moved to Cali, I’m only able to get a trim every now and then. I’m very particular about my hair and I just can’t find myself to pop into just any ol’ place to get it cut. But my friend suggested Hang and her hair always looks great so I thought I’d give her a try.
Hang was super sweet and was able to fit me into her schedule last minute since I was only in town for the weekend.
She did a great job cutting my hair and made great suggestions for something different. Hang did a great job listening to how I wanted my hair while adding in her own expertise. I’ll definitely be scheduling an appointment next time I’m in town.

Love hang! It was my first time with her and she absolutely delivered. I asked her to keep as much length as possible while trimming off the split ends and then giving me a v shaped cut with tons of layers. Showed her some pictures and she knew exactly what to do. Also it was like talking to a friend — she was so personable!

Hang is awesome! She fixed a haircut I got impulsively prior to going to her (May 2014) and since then, I don’t go anywhere else. Refer her to about everyone who inquired about a place to get their hair done. Very attentive to my needs and very easy to keep a conversation during your time in her chair (big plus!)

Hang is the best! I’ve been a long time Unilocal viewer, but after visiting Hang, I had to write my first review to tell how great she is.
She sits with you to cut and style your hair to get exactly what you are looking for and ensures you are a happy client. I got a beautiful bob haircut after having long hair for years. The layers blended so well and it has been over a month since the cut and it has been easy to manage every day. I have received compliments for the new style from people ladies that I don’t really know but regularly walk past, and they said they had to stop and tell me what a beautiful new hairstyle I got… It is that awesome!
i have finally found my hairstylist after trying so many places from stand alone shops to high end chains. It is really great.

She gets two stars for being really fun and easy to talk to… BUT I’m going on three months from a getting my last haircut with her and I still can’t style it without spending so much time curling it… I had really long hair and wanted shoulder length hair with some long layers all around and she cut really short uneven layers all around the crown of my head that did not blend in with the length. She curled it and then let me look at the back and of course it looked nice. I blew it straight a few days later and it was just a nightmare enough to cry. She does not have the skills from my experience to judge the right cut from a conversation of what you want. So disappointing

Hang was amazing! I really needed a haircut — I had really long hair that hadn’t been cut in over a year and desperately needed layers. The only thing is that I dislike getting my haircut because usually my hair ends up awkward at the end! But not this time.
This is the first hair stylist I’ve been to that I was genuinely pleased at the result with. Her prices are very reasonable, and she does better than high end salons that charge a fortune. Plus, you get to be in a nice private room instead of a crowded place. She is very nice and fun to talk to.
I HIGHLY recommend giving Hang a chance. She is easy to get ahold of — whether through call, text, or email and her availability is amazing considering it seems she has quite a few clients! I will definitely be going back, and this time I won’t be dreading having to go, but rather looking forward to getting my hair styled knowing that it will end up pretty and just the way I want it.
The only thing you should note is that her salon room is located in a building called Alex Burton Salons, and not just its own separate place. Also, she only accepts cash so be prepared!

Hang is a hair goddess! I’ve been looking for someone to cut my hair for 2 years now and finally success! I wanted a cut that kept my length with Lots of layers for movement. She just gets what you want and she delivers. Some random guy told me I had pretty hair today and a friend commented on my cut. I have very complicated head geometry and thanks to the amazing skills of Hang my hair looks amazing. Seriously, in my entire life no one has ever been better and cutting my hair. She is a true master.

I found Hang on Unilocal after not being able to get in at Blow Dry Bar. THANK GOODNESS I DID! She’s got all the qualities I want in a hair-​dresser: does great work, has clean studio, uses good products, and is a great conversationalist! My hair is very thick, and she handles it with ease and makes it look fabulous.

Hang is awesome! She gave me the best cut in years. I came in with a disaster and walked out with a beautiful mane. I’m sticking with her from here on out. I highly recommend her for her professional skills, and she’s super charming, to boot!

While I typically head out to cut loose or ciao (both fantastic places), I really wanted something near the galleria that was old school Toni & Guy. People, I have found hair mecca. And it’s where Hang resides. I used Unilocal to locate her, and was able to make my appt by leaving a msg and via text!
Its in the same parking lot as café mezza, suite 119.
She picked up everything I described during our consult, shampooed, cut, texturized, gave me bangs, and layers and layers and layers.
Nothing felt rushed, looked over, or haphazard. She’s a total pro and literally what Ive been hunting for. Plus she’s kind of hilarious. Awesome experience!

I love my haircut from Hang! I have «Asian girl hair’, meaning it tends to be just straight, thin and lifeless. My hair is pretty long — down by back. My husband, like most men like long hair but it can get pretty scraggly if its not style right. So I went to Hang on recommendation from a friend. I told her I need a haircut that I can get some volume. I want it easy to style also –wash, volumizing spray, blow dry and go. Oh yeah and I want cute bangs too. She listen first and made some suggestions and then wah lah I got my perfect haircut! I love my new look! There’s lots of movement and volume. My husband loves it too!
