Ive shopped at JosAbanks for years but have to say today’s experience was the best I’ve ever had. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a welcome handshake and introduction of Mr. Wendell. The best part is Wendell actually listened to what I wanted/needed. Thanks for the suit Wendell!

I’ve been buying from Jos. A. Bank for several years now. Most of the time I just order online, but I’ve been to this store several times. JAB has a little niche in the market. Their clothes are very good quality and this store has always provided me with quality help and advice. If you are new to JAB, this you need to learn that they run these crazy sales ALLTHETIME. Don’t ever pay«sticker price» for anything, because within a day or two, the price is bound to be cut in ½ or ¼/or even more!

When I read one of the previous reviews I was expecting a very different experience from the AMAZING one that I got. I received exception service from«Chaundres Carthan»(I snagged his business card). He hooked me up with two JOSEPHSUITES –that normally run for $ 900 each; and sold them to me for a combined total of under $ 400. I love doing business with stores like this. I’m traveling from Idaho so my time and money are limited and can greatly appreciate a good deal!

On December 7, 2014 My Fiancé and I entered Jos. A. Bank at the Champion Forest Plaza 5484FM1960 W Houston, TX77069 location. To this day February 4, 2015 it was ben a very stressful time working with them. We picked out a traveler set, colors and tie/sock colors. We had a total of ten men needing to get this information. At the time, Carol, seemed very confident in everything. We left feeling good about the decision to work with them with our groom’s party for our wedding. Now thus far EVERYSINGLE guy out of the ten guys has called me.(As the bride I should know all the answers, right?) I assumed after spending quite some time with Carol she would of documented our information clearly that was our party could easily go in, get measured and get things done. Out of our TEN grooms party every single one has called me while they were there because of confusion while there. They were unable to walk in and get help. What color pants? What color tie? Cuffed or un cuffed? What kind of shirt? (this is a short list of questions I have been asked) Or if carol was not there– the other staff members had no clue. Example I had someone travel about 78 minutes to get there– Carol was off and another staff member helped her. He got his measurements and then wanted to get his tie while he was there. The sells rep couldn’t help him because she didn’t know what color. Then he asked what color the traveler set was going to be so he could get shoes, he was unable to because the sales rep had not a clue. Today, my brother drove 45 minutes to get there. He was charged $ 160 for the vest and $ 180 for the pants. We had got a travel set(pants & vest for $ 140) Again I spoke with the sales rep and she said this was«just thrown in her lap this morning before Carol left» I would to be surprised if every groom party member had something different at this point! They have made working with them a horrible experience and will never do any kind of business with this store. Bride Update on Feb 26th a grooms men was at the location after receiving an call to pick up his suit. Once he arrived there they could not find anything under his name. They had mixed up the last name and first names of the grooms men. Update 3÷2÷15 On Feb 27th my groom and i went o pick up his suit. As he was trying it on i could see his feet under the dressing counter. WRONGCOLOR. One week before my wedding they have shipped the wrong color! The store manager at the time(not who had placed the orders) reviewed our account and informed us that due to his height(6’7″) they actually don’t have his size. Not at any point did anyone tell us they didn’t even have his size it would have to be special maid and tailored. Our originally sales rep Carol never told us they would have any issues with this. The only solution was at rent On March 1 one of my grooms men calls me after leaving and states they did not have his pants. There was a store manager there another another gentleman helping them. Apparently they had his vest but didn’t have a name on it and no pants. The gentlemen helping him had to find a sample in the store to get his sizing done. They told him it would be in the store by Friday. At this point the wedding is in 6 days. My wedding is out of town and most of us leave Wednesday or the latest on Thursday. I call in a panic to talk to Carol the store manager in absolutely panic! At this point every grooms men who steps foot in there had issuing things, wrong colors or an issue with what was placed. Being a store manager i was completely shocked at Carol’s reaction. Not once did she validate my concerns, issues or acknowledge why my trust has been broken with doing business with them. She actually made the situation worse. As a client i was VERY upset yet again another– to me– big mistake less then a week before my wedding. She at this point be little my concerns and said i was«paranoid» and she had already told me things would get handled. I then brought up my grooms men being there with no pants and she said that was not true that he had tried on his pants. I had then told her my grooms men and her sales rep that i had spoken with both told me the same information about the pants. She said that wasn’t true. I asked her if her store rep was lying abut the situation then because there is no way she would say they had no pants if there were there and Carol said yes! She also told me that a lot of this was my grooms fault for not coming in as fast as she would like. Yes the grooms men haven’t all came in but i had communicated with another employee who said tailoring only took 1 – 2 days. But i wasn’t sure how the grooms men coming in had anything to do with the fact that when they did come in it was all wrong. For a store manager to actually tell a client that it was their fault blew my mind! I ended up getting more anger because on the phone she would never listen and let me vent. She always cut me off and argued!

This store has a great selection of men’s clothing. The only problem is that it’s crazy expensive! The salespeople were really helpful and friendly. If you are trying to shop for someone who is tall and super thin and you need a fitted dress shirt this is the place. Just be prepared to pay for it. Even with their«sale» prices I still had sticker shock!

We have been able to find some very nice suits for the groomsmen in our upcoming wedding. There was a slight issue with the lady my Fiancé was initially working with, no longer being employed there, so all of the information we had initially provided was somehow«lost» which resulted in some confusion for our groomsmen. However, we were able to get it worked out with a guy named Addison so we are back in business. He taught me how to tie a bow tie in just a few minutes ! They have a nice selection of shirts and ties as well as nice quality suites and offered us some good prices for ordering multiple suits.

This was my first visit to a Jos A Banks store, to buy a new suit. I selected a dark navy blue pinstripe Traveler’s suit, which resists wrinkles and stains. I also got a Stay Cool shirt which mixes in a synthetic wicking micro-fiber with cotton to help cool the wearer. It works quite well. The store is clean and well arranged albeit a tad crowded, with a wide assortment of the signature Jos A Banks clothes, which tend to lean to the more conservative side. If you are a tall guy, your choices are limited since clothing manufacturers assume that tall men are 300 lbs overweight and only wear tan, beige and black. Although not every style is stocked in the store, they’ll order it for you online, and between the two sources there’s a wide selection of Big and Tall styles and colors. Right now, they have clothes by my favorite designer: SALE! The sales folks were very friendly and helpful. I’ll be back.
