This place right near my house, so i figured i give it a try. Specially since most places are pretty good when they first open. Turns out this is one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten at. I’m actually surprise i didn’t get my stomach pumped. The food has no taste what so ever, and no variety. It would appear that the only Mexican dish they have is 24 trays in how to make a taco. The best thing i could find wast a small desert that was mediocre at best. Everyone who worked there looked as if they didn’t know what to do or where to go. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Gross. Even though the name is in spanish and the music they play is spanish and all the staff speak spanish this is not a Spanish buffet. Out of the 30 items in line maybe 3 – 5 of them were. The rest was a mix of typical american food. I was expecting something similar to Panchos’ Buffet. Buffets are usually bad but this place is nasty. Flavorless, over cooked stale food. Fruit flies buzzing over the food. The staff is super friendly. I think they feel sorry for us because they know they are serving us slop; so they are being extra nice. BTW I dont remeber seeing neither a bar nor grill as stated in the name. edit: i just looked them up under the health department and they have pest violatioins among other in their other resteraunts

This place was horrible. I expected good things from a Mexican buffet at grand opening but this place made Panchos look like fine dining. It was dirty, and the food selection was poor and tasted bad. I went on a groupon and it ended up being two dollars off what everyone else paid. The only good part was the waitstaff who were vigilant and tried to be helpful. I will never eat here again. Poor food quality, selection, and dirty restaurant.

I would rather not give them any star at all. The things they do to food are horrible. I would strongly suggest for anyone to avoid this place. The price you paid would not worth all the throwing up you’ll experience after tasting the food.

I tried this place last night, I have been seeing daily deals and have been wanting to try it. Wow was it disgusting. The special was 2 for $ 15 I would not even go again if it were free. Everything looked like it had been sitting out for days. And this is definetly not a Mexican buffet. They had american food! Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, salads etc. The only mexican food were crispy shell tacos which are far from authentic. They even managed to mess up rice pudding it was horrible. Literally made me gag and I had to spit it out.(perhaps sour milk?) The place was empty when I came in I shouldve taken the hint. Needless to say, I will never go to this place again!

A BIGMISTAKE! A friend invited me to dinner and said he would like to try this place. The restaurant was having a $ 7.99 special. They had some poor guy walking around in the street esplanade with a large sandwich board on advertising the special. Normally when I go to a buffet, I’ll walk through the line to see what they have to offer before I pay. This time my friend and I were talking and I forgot. What a mistake! The carpet is old, faded, stained, worn and dirty. Did I mention the carpet was dirty? I went to the washroom to wash my hands and noticed that there was dark slime in the bottom of the sink! Not a good sign. The buffet line was sparse. There wasn’t much in the steamer pans. It was like they weren’t expecting a lot of people. I first noticed the fish that was cut into thirds and fried. There were several heads and tails including fins and eyeballs. I picked up some baked potato pieces and was going to cover them with cream gravy. The gravy was more like soup! They had some bread pudding with raisins and cinnamon that I wanted to try but the bottoms were all burnt. Same with the cornbread. The cornbread was so hard, I couldn’t eat it. And finally, the soft ice cream coming out of a machine was more like ice milk. Cheap. I definitely won’t be going back.

This place is still new in the area. I went there when they first opened up. I wasn’t blown away by the food but it was decent. Prices are a little high for the selection of food they have. But they do mail out coupons or even give them to you as you leave the place. The coupons are buy one get on free deals which is a BIG plus for me. Prices are better when you go for lunch and/or dinner on the weekdays. I believe it’s $ 7.99 on the weekdays. Their menu is never the same. I suggest you ask to take a look inside to see what food they have for that day before you pay. Service is AWESOME! they come by every couple of minutes to make sure everything is to your liking or ask if you need a refill. Empty plates are removed from the table very quickly and staff is very friendly. I do go back but mostly it’s to see how much they have improved the food selection from my previous visit. It definitely has potential. Overall decent mexican food not authentic though.

WORSTBUFFETEVER! We saw the guy with the sign on the street and got curious, decided to try out and it was the WORST decision we could ever made. I know you’re not suppossed to expect a lot from a buffet, but the food was just DISGUSTING! Everybody got sick afterwards. WOULDNOT recommend it even to my WORSTENEMY!

I was not super impressed with the Mexican food selection. However there was a variety of foods. It seemed more like an American food buffet with a little Mexican flavoring.

I noticed a week ago that this restaurant had apparently been turned over from the(perhaps rightly) maligned New Wok Bo into a new buffet restaurant — all you can eat Mexican. I was a bit hesitant to check it out, given that the last time I went to the old restaurant I was sorely disappointed, but I decided to give it a chance after I checked out their other location’s website. That said, and while there are definitely kinks that need to be worked out — some holdovers from the old establishment, some likely attributable to the«newness» of the place, I was thoroughly surprised by what I encountered, and will definitely be going back in the future. When I first walked in, it was clear that the place was still a work in progress, as aside from the replacement of all the burnt out light bulbs that used to characterize the dining floor(oddly lending an almost cheerful ambiance to the entire establishment that I didn’t expect) the majority of the tables, servery area, etc. were holdovers from the old restaurant. They did have several margarita machines added back near the«bar» area. Though they aren’t currently fully licensed, the documents are processing and they should be very soon — a marked plus, as far as I’m concerned. There’s still work to be done to really take the décor to a next level, but for a buffet, that’s not particularly concerning, especially since they just recently opened their doors. What really sets this place apart from its lackluster predecessor, however, is the food, which was, despite a few misfires, quite good. Though I avoided the salad, I noticed several other patrons digging in, and the quality of all 3 salad offerings looked solid. However, what really shines here is the variety of Mexican food here — all sorts of chicken, beef, sausage, ham, fish, shrimp, peppers, salsas, and other staples. The offerings are rotated fairly routinely by the friendly and attentive staff, who are also ready to cook you(quite delicious) steaks to order once you’ve taken your seat and picked up your first plate. Their tortillas and tortas were quite fresh and satisfying. Everything was properly temped, which is quite rare for a buffet. If I had a few complaints, I’d have to pin them mostly on the overly large(1⁄3 of the buffet) section of deserts and«American» foods like pizza, macaroni and cheese, and — yes — something eerily reminiscent of General Tso’s — certainly a necessary evil of family-friendly buffets, but which could have gone towards an even greater variety of Mexican dishes. Though It certainly wasn’t a deal breaker, it seemed like a bit of a shameful waste given the lack of guacamole(or at least my inability to locate it). While in all honestly it’s probably closer to a 3.75, I think given the opening week jitters I’m comfortable bumping them up to the 4 — I could hear other diners around saying they’d be back(like me), and certainly hope that the building’s last occupant doesn’t discourage those looking for a new, reasonably priced lunch or dinner option.
