Service has gone way down. When I order a two course meal, I have time to eat 2 bites of my tacos before they are being taken away and encheladas put down in their place. Last time I was actually burned by the plate being shoved in front of me mid bite with no warning. On another visit I was asked to move midmeal to make room for a large group(20 people mostly kids) that did not have a reservation. It is very sad to see a local place go downhill like this.

THEFOODWASABSOLUTECRAP!!! THATISTHEHONESTTRUTH!!! SERVICEWASJUSTASBAD!!! ANDTHEYWEREVERYPROUDOFTHEIRCRAPFOOD$$$$ I signed up for Unilocal after using it for years just so I could voice how HORRIBLE this place is. The place looks great, but that is all that can be said about it!!! When asked for my drink order I asked what beers kind of margaritas they had, and was answered back with«Yes» and then she quickly walked away to go talk in the corner with a fellow waiter for quite some time before I motioned for her to come over to the table. Not quite sure what happened there. Thought it was kind of funny though. We finally got a drinks, and waited 15min to get our order taken. I was trying to get their attention for that time and our menus were closed and were were looking around for at least 10min of that time. Mind you there was only 3 other tables in the whole restaurant and 3 waiters/waitresses on shift. We finally our queso and it tasted like it was straight out of a bottle. It was really disgusting. This is the 1st time in my life that I can say that cheese was disgusting. LOL That is how bad it was. When we finally got our food, my disappointment reached an all time low!!! I got the Cancun, and when I barely squeezed the taco, which was only shell and meat at that point, grease literary poured on to the plate for a LONG time. The grease puddle had to have covered half the plate. I get that taco meat is generally greasy, but if you could have seen how much came out. Just looking at the hot plate that came with my meal made me sick. Again there was a grease puddle covering a big portion of the plate. I am not scared of grease, so I did try all of my food anyway. The taco was soggy and the taco meat was very bland except for the burnt meat flavor they managed to get in there. The beef and cheese enchiladas were also very bland, but the burnt meat and bottled cheese lingered in them. The beans were awful. I didn’t try the rice cause I was just pissed at this point. The tamale was super dry which doesn’t make any since. There is no doubt that the whole plate had been microwaved with how dry everything was. I am not a food snob by far, but this was the WORST Mexican food, if you can even call it that, that I have ever had in my entire life. Oh, and my plate was $ 12. Pretty dang pricey for the CRAP they put on my plate. My dog would have passed this food up, and he licks his butt sometimes. My wife had all of the same problems with her meal. Both of us have worked in the service industry for years in the past, and NEVER complain; However, we were both sooo disappointed our plates were 95% still uneaten. When we let the waiter and waitress that had visited our table know how unhappy we were AFTERSIGNING the check because WENEVEREXPECT A FREEMEAL, the waitress just walked off without saying anything(I don’t think she understood what I said to her, but didn’t bother to get anyone that would understand me) and the waiter just said«Too bad» in a snotty kind of way. Mind you I was very polite with my complaint and held back the urge to ask him how they can sleep charging $ 12 for a plate of ABSOLUTECRAP!!! I wouldn’t have accepted any adjustment to the bill as I wasn’t looking for that, but not a care in the world was given that they just had 2 people pay $ 40 dollars for a meal that they couldn’t eat. Don’t let the décor fool you!!! While the place looks great, the food is just awful and service and prices matched. And to respond to the review stating that the 1 star reviews have to be from owners of competing restaurants, I can only say LMFAO!!! I am guessing that the truth is that the only good reviews on here come from the Hacienda’s family, friends, and maybe a few people who excepted a free meal or drinks in exchange for a good review. Either that, those people have been eating dog @#R@ for the past few years and finally are eating slightly better.

Wow, the ratings by my fellow Unilocalers are brutal! I came here on a recommendation when I was looking for Chicken Tortilla soup. This was after I just tried Tony’s Mexican Restaurant and was very pleased with their Caldo. I thought for the bowl I got, filled with avacodo, chicken, corn on cob, tomato, etc., the value was outstanding. I left very satisfied. Have been back since, and maybe its too much of a good things syndrome, but it wasnt quite as good as my first try. Service is pleasant but their availability, especially when they aren’t busy, is spotty at best.

This restaurant is does not focus on quality whether it comes to food or service. I can’t believe anyone would give this restaurant a review that was better than mediocre. These people must be from some place where Mexican or TexMex is not available. Drive a little further and find another place to eat if you want Mexican.

Worst experience I have had at a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was pretty empty; however, every single time we needed something I had to flag down a waiter,(to order our dinner, ask for some water, ask for the check, etc…)then when they came to the table, they gave the impression we were bothering them. I ordered a strawberry Daquiri, It was not tasty at all and I am pretty sure they forgot to add the alcohol. My husband ordered a Mango Margarita and he was happy with it. My husband ordered the shrimp special, instead of tortillas. they bring him toast! YES toasted white bread. The strangest thing I had ever seen at a Mexican restaurant, and kind of insulting actually. My friend ordered beef fajitas nachos. They came out with ground beef nachos. When he politely asked to exchange them for what he wanted, the waiter got an attitude and told my friend he ordered the ground beef. We weren’t going to make a scene, but first of all. I heard my friends order and I know he said«fajitas». Second, it really doesn’t matter, if he wants to exchange them, he should be able to, no questions asked and don’t give an attitude and tell the customer he is wrong! At the end of the meal, after I once again had to find someone to help us, the waiter brings the bill out and tells us we have to pay cash b/c of some problem with their computer system. I told him ‘sorry’ but we don’t have any cash, just our card. Once again, he got an attitude. If they were having a problem with the machine, they shouldn’t have let us order everything we did and wait to dictate how we pay. I asked him if he would split the bill for, he got really mad then. As we were starting to get up and wait at the front for him to split our bill, he tried to tell me to sit down and wait at the table. I kindly told him. «no, I am tired of sitting, I will meet you at the front to get our cards back. To top it all off, when I looked at my banking info the next day .they had THREE charges on my card for the full amount! Now I have to deal with wrong transactions on my card. I tried to go to website listed on the business card I grabbed on the way out, not surprised… the website is non-existent. I DONOT recommend this restaurant at all!

The restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere, I was pleased to see they had Grilled Fish Tacos with mango habanero sauce. Disappointment immediately ensued when my order arrived, The fish tacos arrived just as they should, on corn tortillas. The fish harbored very little seasoning it was incredibly bland, To the side of the fish sat the sauce cup of the mango habanero sauce. It was my only salvation. I poured it on with confidence and eagerly bit into an epic fish taco fail. The sauce & the bland fish did not marry together well and left me eating bland fish with sauce that tastes like it came from a condiment packet. I cant say they were horrible, i ate them but it was just out of hunger. I wont be returning based on the tacos, if you cant get those right i have no interest in anything else you serve,
