Piquin Mexican Style Subs

The newest Piquin location on FM 529. This restaurant is a little smaller than the Veterans Memorial and Hwy 290 locations however the food is just as good. They have broadened their menu over the past year to include Mexican burgers, quesadillas, etc. and of course their famous build your own subs.
I had lunch there last Friday and ordered a whole sub on Italian bread with tuna fish and cheese and asked that it be toasted. When delivered to my table I took it to their fixins bar to add lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo. Gee, what a monster sandwich! I wasn’t hungry for the rest of the day. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Seriously the half sandwich is big enough for most people. If fact everything here is big with the burgers being monsters! You will not leave here hungry. One key ingredient here that makes their subs so good is the freshness of the bread. Italian is my fave.
