Usually this is my go to. Very rarely do I have a bad experience with the food. Today however the food was sad. The breakfast tacos that are 6 dollars come stuffed and for the most part could use an extra tortilla but today it was as if I got a taquito from whataburger. Extremely disappointed so I have to go some where else for a while to get my money’s worth. I’ve never still been hungry after eating here and you’d think you spend $ 20 you wouldn’t be. Shame on you today Frank’s!

As many times I have been to this place, there has always been good and fast service. Today however, was a horrible experience! After waiting for a seat for over 20 minutes we were told we could sit at the bar if we wanted to. We decided to do that and had to wait another 20 minutes before anyone even said a word to us. While sitting at the bar I noticed customers food waiting on a table behind the bar for up to 15 minutes. When it was sent back, they microwaved it and sent it back out. I know Frank’s is better than this.

The food is delicious and I recommend the liver and onions. The service was very slow and I had to go ask the host for various things because our server was nowhere to be found. The Frank’s special fries are really good. You could always get this yummy food to go and avoid table service altogether I guess, or maybe they were just having an off day. We will definitely return.

I love the breakfast here. I always order the sausage breakfast tacos to go. The restaurant is always super packed so I’ve never dined in. The staff is always welcoming and remember me each time I come. I’ve never experienced any rude behavior. They are just always busy.

The food is ok, but what makes this place amazing is the staff. Will continue to come here because of that.

Decided to try this place out since I’ve heard great things about it. I just made it in after a long road trip so I was in much need of a good meal. The location itself is in a strip mall but parking wasn’t an issue. The vibe inside felt very home style in the sense you could bring your family there or just go casually if preferred. I ordered two lunch specials: grilled catfish with a side of mashed potatoes and corn. The other was fried catfish with corn and macaroni. The fish comes in a separate plate from the sides. Overall food was OK if I was in the area again and able to catch them open I would definitely check them out. I gave them three stars because both fish were good but the sides were bland!!!

Didn’t even get the chance to eat here. I walked in and stood at the door waiting to be seated PATIENTLY. I saw one waiter. So I knew he was busy but didn’t mind standing there waiting. He was putting food down at a table for other customers. He turned around and screamed across the restaurant at me «HAVE A SEATANYWHERE» I’m not used to this unprofessionalism. Uuuuh… Really? It’s 7:30 in the morning and you’re already screaming and frustrated ? No thanks. I’ll have a seat elsewhere at another establishment.

Our first visit was satisfying. It was breakfast. I had the porkchop and my husband had the steak and egg. He said the steak was ok. So he took his son from VA2 weeks ago. They were both disappointed. It took 20 minutes for someone to notice them(it was a Sunday). His son ordered the chicken fried steak. He said it was bland. My husband gave the steak a 2nd chance but he got chopped steak. Wrong order, since they waited for a long time to get their food he did not tell you that he was served the wrong dish. Plus, they had to be somewhere that morning. Sorry, there’s always room for improvement.

Very disappointed in my to go order. When I dine in, it’s not a bad experience. My veggie omelet was so cheese. There was more cheese than egg. Hash browns were good, some areas were burnt. Biscuits and gravy were ok. I’m annoyed that they drowned the biscuits in gravy and also took another order’s gravy(from the chicken fried chicken) and slapped that on there as well. It was flowing a bit from the to go container. Chicken fried chicken was good. Crispy and moist.

Always a great stop for breakfast. Despite the place always being busy, the service is always fast and the waitstaff is friendly. It is a great place to get a tasty homestyle breakfast. On today’s visit, I opted for the chicken fried steak and waffle. It had a little too much gravy for me, but my husband was calling me crazy for complaining about too much gravy. It was really good though and BIG! My husband had the cowboy omelette and hashbrowns, and really enjoyed it. My oldest daughter had the banana split waffle. That thing was insane! She couldn’t even finish it all. My youngest had the kids pancakes, which were described as“mini”. They were NOT mini… and she still ate two of the three. I would love to see what a regular sized pancake is there if those were mini. Overall, this place is a great, family style breakfast joint. I would opt for Frank’s over the Denny’s what is a few doors down, any day.

This is a one star review for unclean practices. We were waiting for a table today for breakfast and watched the bus boy touch used napkins and then rearrange the condiments. But the worst was that we watched him clean a table right in front of us that had two unused silverware rolls on the table(even though it was a full table previously). He again touched the used napkins and then the condiments and haphazardly wiped the table down, soaking one of the napkins in the rolled silverware, and just left them for the next party. G-ross!!! We left after that. Who knows how long that silverware had been left on the table. My guess is that the previous party requested new ones and the old ones kept getting recycled. I feel bad for whoever actually used them.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had and it’s cheap! But quality. There is more than enough seating so if your in a small group you should be good. I’m very impressed with the food, service and overall experience of this particular restaurant.

Service was quick and easy waiters were friendly. But more importantly the food was awesome. And you get plenty with every meal, portions are big. Catfish is cooked perfectly in a cornmeal base! Come eat breakfast here for sure.

This place has CHICKENFRIEDCHICKEN on steroids! Which tastes great down to the last finger licking bite! The waffles remind me so much of carnival funnel cakes. They’re saturated with butter(if that’s your thing) and powdered sugar! The service is friendly. You’re greeted at the door, and able to sit at your hearts desire. The atmosphere is social, filled with people who travel miles just to eat here. Your food come out fast, fresh, and piping HOT!

Good place to visit early in the morning for breakfast. Can’t go wrong with a down home breakfast with the family. I like this location over most because its very spacious and looks a lot cleaner. When you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly«hello». You have the option of seating yourself at the bar, booths or tables. Everyone there is so friendly. If you sit at the bar, they don’t mind holding a quick conversation with you. They treat everyone like a «regular». The food is made to order. Everything comes out hot and fresh, except for those damn biscuits! It seems as tho they are made ahead of time and placed in a warmer of some sort.-which is understandable… but they not warm at all. All in all, its still a nice place for some good breffas and a nice convo.

Breakfast with hub [; One one side you see the scrambled eggs with veggies, hash browns, grilled catfish(grilled ehh fried would’ve def been better) on the other side you have fresh chicken wings(bland) hash browns, eggs and a buttery biscuit. Made to perfection yet still needs«seasonings». Visit was great with my honey, food ordinary breakfast nothing spec seasonings would’ve put the catfish/chicken over the top. Like FR will try a couple other breakfast restaurants in the area.

This place can get crowded pretty fast. I had the country breakfast 2 pork chops fried or grilled, 2 scrambled eggs, hashbrowns. The pork chops were thin and fried too long. They were dry and needed seasoning. The hashbrowns were dry too. The veggie omelette she had lacked flavor. It too needed some seasoning. I gave this place 3 stars because I’ve eaten here before and the food was good. This visit, not that good. The service was slow getting the check. Looks as if some of the waitstaff called in sick to watch the NFL football game.

Parking: It is medium size but the restaurant is in a shopping center so it can be difficult to find a parking spot depending on the time. Time and Day: Ate on a Thursday afternoon at 1:00PM and was only about 10% full. So it was a good time to come in. At this location, you seat yourself and someone will come by and take your order. Food: I ordered the Country Fried Steak with sunny side up eggs, bread, and fruits as my side($ 10.23). It was nice for them to put the gravy in separate bowl for me so I can pour the right amount of gravy. The country fried steak was mediocre, wasn’t blown away by it but it was good enough to satisfy me. Eggs were perfect and fruit tasted fresh. Overall, the food was decent and is comparable to the food at Denny’s or IHOP. I had no complaints but was not blown away. Service: Since there were only a small group of people in the diner, our waitress easily took my order. However, I noticed the food took a little bit longer than expected. Considering that there were very few customers eating at the time, I would think the food would come out faster. But anyways, the waitress did do quick check-ups on me to see if I needed anything else after bringing me my food and my check. When it came to paying, you have to come up to the cashier in the front and pay. Price: My meal was basically $ 10 and I say it was worth it. Can’t say no to cheap country fried steak. Overall: Cheap, decent breakfast place with okay service. I would come back if I was in the mood for some country fried steak with eggs.

I tell you what. I was so glad this spot opened near my place. This is by far the best bang for your buck… the dollar will stretch a mile in this joint, and it is all some serious good breakfast when you don’t wanna cook. Maybe it i the loads of butter and salt. Maybe it is the savory smell bacon! Either way I have a motto here. Just Eat It! Bacon, Eggs over easy… but the best one for me is the Chicken Friend Steak and Eggs!!! Note to self: Find a way to make this a weekly breakfast thing.
