This is the best Five Guys I’ve had. I don’t like the one in Katy and the one in the Medical Center. This one is good, though!

Two stars because the burgers here are good but the service is here is among the worst. I placed an online order, got there 15 mins later, then had to wait another 15 mins for the fries. Meanwhile my burgers are sitting there getting soggy. The fries were just dumped on top of the burgers causing a mess everywhere. There are too many other burger places area to bother coming here. I’ll take my business over to southwells, pappas burgers, Barnaby’s, or becks prime.

Awful service Granted we did show up 20 minutes before closing but there was no need for the two employees to be rude. We were gonna take our food to go anyway but the cashier didn’t actually give us a choice. Bothe employees had a bad attitude and where complaining from the moment we got there. This is my local joint so I’m been here quite often. Naarah(I believe is her name) always greets you with a smile. She is super friendly and personable. I feel like I’m talking to a friend every time I place an order with her. If nothing else, this kind of customer service alone will keep me coming back. With that said, food is excellent. Five Guys is not your typical«fast food» place like McD’s or Burger King so I don’t know why others complain about wait time. If you’re on the go then try somewhere with a drive-thru.

The food is good i ate here before but on my most recent visit I didn’t even order. i watched the people in the cook area use the gloves to clean and work the register. As they ignored me standing there waiting to order. I left and did not order. I do not recommend this place. People think their gloves are to protect them no fool it is to protect the customer. It’s places and workers like this that proves texas needs to be more stringent on food establishment cleaniness, how about a alphabet rating system so the customer can decide if they want a A property or D property to fix their food.

This is the second time I have tried this place. My order is simple. not too complicated. Cajun style regular size fries. First experience. Service was slow even thought it wasn’t busy. The order came out fine. Second experience: a total wreck! The fries were really salty, it took over 15 minutes to make them because one of the five people working there forgot to make them, I ordered a regular and they gave me a small. I am so fed up with the horrible service here I will never eat at another 5 Guys Burgers in my life. If they hire such awful personnel as this I don’t want to purchase anything at this establishment. They were rude as I heard one of the employees say«well get your order» to a customer and another one argued with another customer. Also I have had cajun fries at other restaurants I can say these are NOTCAJUNFRIES. I do not recommend this business unless you like bad service and dull food. And for the one employee that was helpful, thank you. I hope you find yourself a better job. :)

I like their burgers! Not the best in town in my opinion but they’re juicy/a little greasy and the best part is they don’t charge you for«premium» toppings like grilled mushrooms and onions. Hand cut fries are good too!

Simple and good burgers. A step up from your normal fast-food chain. Fun to nibble away on the free peanuts as you wait.

I had the chance to eat here a few years ago. I was more then happy to come back, I love a good burger spot. You have your choice of 4 different burgers with plenty of toppings ranging from grilled veggies to A1 sauce. Kind of up there in price for a burger and fries but well worth it! The cashiers and cooks meet you with a smile and are more then happy to give their opinion about the burgers. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with A1 sauce and grilled mushrooms and was left with a full stomach and a messy table. Overall great experience! Plan on stopping for lunch more often

This place is ok. I mean I LOVE burgers, it’s hard to make a bad one(unless you’re Red Robin) and theirs are ok. My issue is with the actual patties, flavor, and sogginess of it all. Yes soggy. Not juicy. Juicy is good. Soggy is bad. I think where this place thinks it excels is its endless amount of toppings, ‘free.’ Great sentiment– execution fail. What is the point of offering so many toppings when 1) your buns don ‘t stand up to them and 2) the burger preparers don’t load em correctly? I like my burger with all the fixings. Shouldn’t lettuce be on the bottom so that my burger’s bun isn’t falling apart in my hands? Every single time I’ve eaten here my burger’s bun after 2 minutes has the texture of bread pudding. Not yummy. And the patties are too thin for my taste. I like one big one. Not two mini ones. I do love their cajun fries, but even those are hit and miss. Many times I’ve ordered them they’ve been really stingy with the seasoning and for a second I wonder if I ordered the regular ones. I’ll probably still go back on occasion, but only because they are so close to my house.

Five Guys Burger and Fries is Four Stars. Here, simplicity is the governing rule that earns Five Guys my attention. Photos attached. The inside is simple. Checkered red and white squares rest against white walls. Strategically placed palettes are loaded with sacks filled with potatoes. They decorate an open area occupied with tables for two people, or for a group of four. Peanuts are Five Guys Burgers and Fries unusual but complimentary detail. They can be easily found for one’s enjoyment. The menu is simple and is easy to read. The cook and cashier are attentive by making eye contact with me at all times on my visit today. Their work to complete my order became the grace that unfolded the flavor of my order: a hot dog, an order of small fries and a soft drink. Look out James of Coney Island. My hot dog was prepared well and accompanied with full cuts of tomatoes, grilled onions and pickles the size of round dollar coins. They all rest along the interior walls of its hot dog buns that are painted evenly with yellow mustard. My fries are cut unevenly and are great. They are abundant and are too great for the inside of their cup where they are placed. Five Guys trumps Ronald McDonald and Burger King in the battle for best fries. Keeping food simple and tasty makes it easy for me to unclinch my fist to reveal a shine and gloss that is my four star approval. Thank you Five Guys. –Esteban

Awww, I don’t understand why Five Guys isn’t getting more love! I always think of going here when I need a good olé American meal. My order has always been the same every time I come here: small burger — not a cheeseburger — «everything» on it, no mustard please, plus one large order of fries. Oh, and a nice Coke to wash it all down. AMERCUH. I’m the kind of girl who appreciates the little things, so let me just say how much I love the way Five Guys throws your order together. From expertly packing everything onto your burger without overload spill to the scrumptiously delicious bag of fries, the way this chain works is just awesome. Even the professional way they wrap the burger is great and you even get to watch your food being made because everything(kitchen, grill, prep table) is out in the open. The place is clean, the staff is efficient, and the patrons all have the same glowy-eyed, wonderland look while chomping on their delicious fries. This is the place for your burger fix, hands down.

I am a HUGE fan of 5 Guys. The food is always cooked to perfection! I must warn you, a small order of fries can feed a small country. The only con is that they don’t have a kid’s menu All in all: a good burger joint that you must try

This place is so simple. I love their french fries. I saw someone using malt vinegar(pouring it on their fries) so I tried it. I’m addicted to malt vinegar. I really like their bacon! This place is good and simple.

This was my first time to a Five Guys establishment… I arrived an hour before closing and it wasn’t busy at all. The employee working there was very cordial, gave instructions on how to order and was patient doing so when it came to taking down the order. Since I was craving fries, I ordered the Large Cajun Fries. For the burger, I ordered the Little Bacon Cheeseburger. You have the choice to select what ingredients you want to be included in your burger and you can opt to go lite or regular. My order was made fresh and was ready in no time. Took my order to go and headed home. As soon as I got home, my burger was still fresh and not soggy at all, thank goodness. I took a bite out of the cajun fries and my mouth kept watering for more after the first bite. I immediately fell in love with their Cajun fries! Their Bacon Cheeseburger wasn’t so bad at all. I actually liked it! I still love In N’ Out though and that’s where my heart will always be. I think I’m more of a Cajun Fry fan here… Lol…

Five Guys is one of the best fast food burger places that has come to Houston. It says a lot because I do not like chain restaurants as the flavors often tastes flat or artificial! I never feel like I over eat there as the burger is not huge rather it is a good size. Favorite things: — The regular burgers are double patties — The beef has a lot of flavor and the toppings add lots to it! — Fries are pretty much over served and practically given away — Service is fast! Things that suck: — There is no drive through at any location I have been to — I am not a fan of peanuts while I wait(but it is free) If i need a quick bite and I am near a Five Guys that is where I will be.

I went to visit some family in Houston recently. My husband and I had my niece and nephew and were driving around. We noticed a Five Guys and decided to stop. The burgers and fries were really inexpensive. The service is fast and friendly. The burgers were pretty decent and the fries were just great! When you walk in they have self serve peanuts. Who can complain about that? I’ll definitely go back if given the chance.

Following on my trend of reviewing perfectly average burgers(see: Pappas, Lankford), I present you with Five Guys Burger and Fries. They must be doing something right, having sprouted chains all over the country. I’m here to tell you that what they do right is present one simple, crowd-pleasing menu. Burgers come basic, with cheese, with bacon, or with cheese AND bacon. The little burger is one patty, the regular is two. FYI: two sounds great in theory, but is overkill in execution. The menu lists all possible toppings, and you just say all the ones you want. Sweet and simple – works for me. Problem is, the food just isn’t that great. The burger is ok, I guess. It and the bun are kind of tasteless. And while I love putting all the toppings and sauces you can eat(helloooo, Fuddrucker’s!), the specialty toppings aren’t so great. Grilled onions sounds delicious until you taste it and realize that you’re nowhere close to In N Out quality. Grilled mushrooms really only works with swiss – sorry. Spice it up with jalapeño peppers? Sorry, no spice, too fresh(optimal taste when it’s slightly vinegar-ed, guys!). The cajun fries are supposed to be this place’s saving grace, but they instead are so thoroughly greasy that they soak the paper bag your food comes in. This, after the meticulous care they take to wrap the burger in foil so it doesn’t drip? Come on, now. Sorry, Guys: there may be a five in your name, but you’re only getting three stars from me.

After spending all day shopping for new jeans(bleh!), I felt like rewarding myself by eating out. Did I find jeans that fit? No. Did I choose a healthy restaurant? No, not exactly. This place is defiantly worth Unilocaling about. Here goes my 100th review: I decided to stop at Five Guys because I’ve had this place bookmarked since I joined Unilocal.Let me tell ya– they didn’t disappoint. Five Guys is a chain restaurant, but a tasty one. The fries are thick, salted, and cooked to perfection. No crunchy ends. Several things set this burger apart. The burger is taller than it is wide served on a sesame bun. You get two thin patties instead of one thick one. The cheese is melted between the patties(if you opt for cheese). They offer an assortment of toppings from mushrooms to jalapenos at no extra charge. I thought this was a pretty good deal for a change. All orders are made to go. I took mine home, but wouldn’t mind dining in next time. It’s clean, bright, and they offer peanuts while you wait. All this and a drink came to $ 10.47. The burger only is 5 bucks… adding fries and a drink will double the price. One more thing: you might notice after a look around, they aren’t modest at all. They serve a good burger & make sure you know how wonderful they are with all the awards they have received over the years plastered on the wall. I have to agree, Five Guys Burgers & Fries is A-OK in my book. I will be back!
