Everything a coffee shop should be! Great atmosphere and amazing coffee. I had the El Delicioso, a chocolate and cinnamon latte, and just as its name suggests it was delicious! It’s quiet enough to work, free wifi and there are various seating options. The pastries looked quite enticing, I will definitely be back!

Ordered the cold Fioza Specialty mocha with almond and coconut syrup. Asked for half-sugar which was just right for me, since I don’t like my drinks too sweet. 4⁄5 stars for the drink. So I really liked my drink, but I can also understand what some of the other Unilocalers remarked on in terms of the service. I ordered a panini to go and I was in a hurry. After waiting about 5 – 6 minutes, the barista told me that the person who makes the sandwiches is «missing…and probably taking a break… but he should be back in like 5 minutes.» I wouldn’t say that anyone was unpleasant, but this kind of service is ridiculously ridiculous. They did eventually give me a refund for the sandwich, but this also took time. And I also noticed the two baristas who worked in the front giggling on their phones as I was waiting. The issue I had with waiting is that it wasn’t crowded and there were no other orders in at the time. I really would’ve liked to have given this place 4 – 5 stars, but until they practice a more rigorous standard of how the workers on the front line and back line conduct themselves, I’ll stick to 3-stars.

BESTCHAILATTEEVER. This small coffee shop behind the Meyerland area is really great study spot! There is free Wi-Fi and plenty of plugs for those who want to work alongside the huge cup sizes. The tables are quite small and might fit 1 – 2 people. The prices are a bit high but are justified by the large sizes. A chai latte is $ 3.95 and the cup took about an hour or so to finish! The noise level is quite soft since many people are here to work or to share a conversation with another person. The food is quite good as well! They mostly serve paninis and they are tasty and filling! Their bakery items and cakes are also fresh and satisfy morning or evening sugar cravings. They give a discount after 4PM to make sure that none of the pastries are still served the next day! Overall, this is a cute coffee shop to get some work done! The parking lot is a bit small but people are usually coming and going so there are a few spots always open. The coffee shop is a bit more packed in the afternoon so plan accordingly!

Excellent coffee and paninis! Didn’t try any of the pastries but they looked delish too. Coffee was perfect, got the café Cubano and thoroughly enjoyed it; attention was given to presentation as well. I had a build your own panini that was made with fresh ingredients and every bite was delicious. It’s not your fast pace chain coffee shop, as clearly everything is made fresh in regards to the food; not too long a wait on food, worth it either way. This is my new go to and what I am calling a gem!

Great little place! Their chai latte was dynamite — perfect temperature. My husband had a cortado and cold brew and he liked both ad well. Glad Unilocal directed us to this place!

I’ve been coming to Fioza for years now, many essays have been written here. Generally a quiet and good place to do work. Pretty good coffee and decent food/snacks to munch on if you get hungry. They serve tapioca too, which I’m always a fan of adding to teas or smoothies.

Loved it here, the food and drinks are always great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They let me leave business flyers at their location and they talked to me like I was a regular. The only problem was at noonish they were so crowded that there wasn’t even anywhere to sit.(which to me means they are a popular place) luckily it wasnt to hot outside so I just sat on their porch — the wifi extended to the parking lot — until the lunch crowd died down. I’m getting cake next time I go back, because their dessert cooler looked like heaven.

My first time trying out this place and I really like it. I came to study and they have plenty of outlets and free wifi. The staff is really friendly and they gave me a frequent flyer punch card :) The café Cubano is really good and strong. But I would also recommend the drip coffee(Mexican Nayarita) which is really delicious! And free refills on drip coffee holla!

Yes. My new studying place! There’s plenty of outlets for laptop users, free wifi, and it’s semi quiet. The food and coffee are pretty good. I got the almond croissant and the café cubano and my friend got the breakfast panini. The workers seems pretty nice, which is a plus too.

Not welcoming employees all on their phone having side conversations and using foul language. The price is about the same as Starbucks. Purchased a sugar free hazelnut latte and tastes like water with sugar! The location is not appealing and the café is plain. The place where they mix the drinks is dirty. They do offer free wifi but the password is nowhere in sight.

A great place to study and do work. When you first walk in, it may seem a little dim but there are ample tables by the window where you can set your stuff. There arare a few tables outside as well. The lattes are gigantic(did I get smaller or did lattes get bigger?) It’s the same price as usual lattes($ 3.50) but I’d say 1.5x the size, which is a pleasant surprise. My friend and I split the turkey basil pesto panini which was very good. Full of flavor and grilled to perfection. This café is quiet, no one talks too loudly and everyone seems to respect the low-key atmosphere which I appreciate! The staff is friendly and give you helpful recommendations. I will be back again!

Love this place. The Mexican cold coffee is a great 3o’clock drink. They take a while to make but it’s well worth your time!

I have hard time expressing my impression from this coffee shop. It has a nice atmosphere, free wi-fi, many tables have power outlets nearby. The coffee is good. Also, I haven’t found any comparable coffee shop in the vicinity(or rather any coffee shop in the close vicinity, period.) But with all of that, there is some strangeness about this place. Every so often, something happens that doesn’t let me feel completely at ease here. Once, I spotted a metallic piece of an earring on top of a danish.(Yes, I know they get their pastries from some shop, but how often do you experience that?) On another occasion, when I was ordering a sandwich(for the first time), she lady behind the counter asked me what type of salad I wanted with it(this or that). I answered. When I paid, I noticed that the receipt had a separate line for the salad add-on. I was not asked IF I wanted to add a salad. When I complained, they did refund me that charge, but I don’t appreciate that type of sneaky up-sell. Their boba(tapioca) tea is OK, but not great. I’ve had it in a less-than prime state. The problem with boba is that once cooked, it has very limited lifetime(3 – 4 hours). So, depending on where you are in the cycle, the state of it can vary. It looks like unlike the«dedicated» boba-tea places, this shop has a low turn-around of their boba, so they don’t cook it as frequently as some other places might do. It looks like earlier in the morning(10−11am), it’s fine here. The thai tea here has different«defaults»: when you order it, you are asked if you wanted to have cream in it. Usually, thai tea comes with(some type of) milk or cream by default. There are variations, such as «Dark Thai iced tea». So, that question can be confusing. If you answer«no» to the cream, then, it looks like you’ll get the dark thai tea. Also, the sweetness level here is relatively low. At many other places, I ask for half-sugar in my thai tea. Here, «regular» level of sugar gives comparable to that sweetness.

Absolutely love Fioza. Great place to study or hangout but it’s never too loud. Their iced coffee is the best iced coffee. Make sure to get the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin if you want a little snack. Baristas are great and always really nice. Oh, and there are a lot of outlets which is always great.

Of all the coffee places I’ve been to, this is one of my favorite places to go to study. There’s a lot of things I look for in a coffee shop, and this place has it all. They have free wifi which is always needed nowadays since everything is online. Along with that, outlets are always coveted and this place does have a decent amount of outlets against the walls and along the bar area. I also really enjoyed the fact that they have a decent amount of places to sit, and I love that they have different searing styles. You have your normal table and chairs, but then you have higher tables, booth areas, and a bar table area, so it makes you feel comfortable, no matter what type of table you like to sit at. They have nice background music but it’s not too loud or too distracting, so that’s always nice to have when you study. Food/price: they of course serve coffee, so even if you’re not studying and just looking for a place to meet up with someone, this place is just hipster enough to be cool, but quaint enough to take someone there on a date or to hang out. Their coffee is pretty good, very standard, but it’s cool that they have frappacinos and smoothies as well. They also serve tea if that’s more your cup of tea lol. Their prices are decent and pretty standard. They also serve pastries there and they’re freshly made every day. The cool thing is they have a sale on their pastries towards the end of the day because they don’t want to serve leftovers or have it go to waste. The large pastries are only $ 1 and the small ones are $ 0.50. I do like that they open until a decent time, so you have time to stop there after work or class. There’s also parking available! Albeit, the parking lot isn’t very spacious, but I haven’t had an issue finding a parking spot. Overall, great place for coffee and an even better place to study.

I’m not a regular coffee drinker, but I can never resist their Cortado. It comes in rather decent sized tea cup to start your day off. There are other coffee options for a pretty decent price. I’ve been here for evening reading and morning time relaxation, both serves good times to do so. I’ve only come here once for green tea tapioca, but it was not the best. Comfortable tables and booths all around as well as a area of board games should you choose to play some. Only gripe about this place is its limited parking lot that is shared with other businesses. Would definitely come back to try other latte options

Fioza is a very reliable coffee shop and a nice place to get work done(apologies to the conversationalists and other patrons). Although this is one of the only non-Starbucks options in the area, Fioza admirably fills the role of the neighborhood coffee shop. I come here basically anytime I am able to work remotely and usually have good experiences. Sometimes the store is inexplicably crowded, but find out what time the book clubs don’t meet and you will be fine. Otherwise, the service, food, and especially the wi-fi is extremely consistent. All of the coffee drinks come recommended, so confidently order whatever you are«feeling» that day. The Café Cortado is great, as is the iced coffee or any of the Fioza specialties. The only exception? Pass on the milk tea… leave that to Chinatown. The food is priced at what you would expect for coffee shop food(aka too much) but is actually very good! I actively crave the paninis and end up alternating between the Roasted Chicken and the Smoked Turkey Basil Pesto. Despite the cringey feeling I get for paying for $ 8 paninis, I’ve always been pleasantly surprised by how filling they are. Fioza’s reliability is what has kept bringing me back over the years. If you live close by and haven’t been yet, give it a try!
