Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Waiting for a car in excess of 42 minutes. It baffles me as to how you can make a reservation, confirmed it the day prior and they still don’t have the a car for you. I made the reservation for 730 because that’s what time I needed the car. They told me they can pick up anther car for me from another location.. But that doesn’t open until 8, which was 5 minutes ago. Now they say they have a car but it is a smaller car than I originally reserved. …and I just say someone drive it off the lot. The counter associate and the guy that drove me home on the return were very nice. But I’m not likely to use the location again due to the fact that they had so much difficulty honoring the time commitment with me as well as their other customers.

Great service at this location. I’ve rented from here for several years and find the staff always courteous and responsive to my needs! Highly recommend.

Enterprise just always gets it right. They’re pricey for sure, but you get what you (or your insurance, in my case for this rental) pay for.
The insurance set up the rental. I showed up at my pick up time and within 10 minutes I was on my way. I had a nice, clean car to drive for the next two weeks until my settlement was finalized. Insurance gave me the drop off date, but an Enterprise rep was kind enough to call me the day before to give me additional details on what time the car needed to be returned. With all the insurance crap I’m currently juggling, this call was really appreciated.
Dropping off the car was also a seamless, quick process. The employees are professional and polite and there to truly serve their clients.

This Enterprise is the best. They go over and beyond there duties. Will be returning soon.

I’ve been in a rental for almost 8 weeks over 3 different states. I’ve used 4 different rental companies in that time. For local rentals, Enterprise can’t be beat. The service, the rates and the fact that they pick you up and/​or drop you off is a selling point in itself. The staff at this particular location has been phenomenal. They were helpful, friendly and flat out professional. Also, I’ve done a TON of research on rental rates and 98% of the time Costco Travel has the absolute lowest car rental rates — even over priceline, orbitz etc. Even the front desk person is always surprised when they pull up my reservation and see how low the Costco rate is. I’ll always use Enterprise for local rentals because when they have the same availability as other companies, Costco always has them at the best price.

Great service, very helpful staff. I would recommend using these guys if you need a rental.

I’ve used this location before and recently rented a car (during the record setting rains) and had to keep it for 3 weeks. They are very easy and nice to do business with. I got an affordable car — they probably are competitive price-​wise but I like that this is in an easy to get to and not so crowded location. It’s on 610 between 290 & I-​45. I’d be happy to do business here again.

There was a huge flash flood in Houston last night, and many areas along Buffalo Bayou are still completely underwater. I went into this Enterprise location with a friend today, and the staff was incredible. A big thank you to Travis, he was very welcoming and shaking everyone’s hand; he really made the process go as smoothly as possible. The entire staff was energetic and reassuring; the friendly atmosphere was greatly appreciated! For the most part it was a quick visit (which is hard to believe considering all the people that are probably calling in at this very moment.) Thank you Enterprise for the great customer service! We hope we won’t be needing your service again soon, but if we do, we know where to go!

This office is very well run and the staff is very polite and they do pick you up which is an awesome service. It’s a little more expensive than the airport so I recommend Priceline for reservations and the insurance.

This is a review for my experience in April 2014. Too often we might only be prompted to leave a review after bad experiences but I felt the need to give a good shout-​out to this location, even after a few months have passed.
I needed a rental after my old car broke down and I was deciding whether to bother getting it fixed or shop around to purchase a new one. The service was great, they sent an agent to pick me up at my place. He was very nice. They were pretty busy, but also brought me back when I needed to drop the car back off at the end of the week. I was planning to just walk because it’s close, but the manager asked if I would like a ride even before I asked if it would be possible.
I’ve previously had very negative experiences with car rentals in another city, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the service at this location. I hope I don’t have to use them again in the future, but this is the location I’d choose without much worry.

I have used enterprise for many years and this experience was the best one yet! I had a car accident and needed a rental.
I was offered a 2014 Camaro which had incredible ride! The people who work here, Chris, Josh, and Shayla are very friendly and accommodating.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a rental car in the future!

I would have rated them 4 stars but when I returned vehicle a day later I remembered I left my sons kindle fire in the passenger back seat pocket when I called to see if it was found they informed me nothing had been returned and said normally there guys wouldn’t check the pockets which I know is untrue but car had been rented out and they would call them and ask if it was found. I was saddened because I knew It was left behind and someone had kept it for themselves. I asked if any electronics had been left behind and returned to owner and was told they have never found electronics which is beyond me because that’s impossible. I know it was my responsibility but I reall thought enterprise had honest people that worked there maybe they need to look into there staff. Very

The staff, particularly the Assistant Manager, Bruce, provided us with prompt, courteous and professional service. I have rented numerous times with Enterprise in Texas and this is THE FIRST TIME someone has actually picked me up. Despite having a busy front office and a constantly ringing phone, Bruce made me feel like I was his most important customers and he never rushed me. I was not the only customer who felt this way — another patron commented on how courteous and polite the 610/​Shepherd staff were in comparison to other locations and encouraged them to «keep up the good work.» Although I work only two blocks away from the Enterprise downtown Houston Hyatt location, I am seriously contemplating using the 610 and Shepherd location more often as Bruce really made us feel like my patronage was valued.
This review is based solely on my personal experience and reflect my personal opinions. Your experience may be completely different.

The employees are quite nice and do their jobs. The caliber of vehicles available stinks-​literally.
Although I had a reservation for a compact car, I had to be driven to a storage lot 4 miles away on N Shepherd.
The first car smelled like an ashtray with no floor mats.
The lady brought me another that was still kind of funky, but ran it through the wash beforehand. I was left on N Shepherd on a cold foggy day while I waited as the doors and trunk of the 1^st rental were left wide open.

It’s a car rental place. Not much to say. I had a car accident, and needed a rental car. They came to pick me up from the body shop. Set me up in a cute little Red Kia Forte, and away I went.
I brought the car back and they drove me back to the body shop, except this time they had someone drive me who had to ask me for directions. Seeing as I’m notoriously bad at directions this could have ended quite badly but this time I knew where I was going.
Prices were reasonable. I think insurance was billed about $ 300.00+ total for around 14 days. Don’t have many other rental experiences to compare to.
