Three stars is pretty accurate for this buffet. I’ve been to this location a few times over the years and they have some items that are good but for the most part, many are average at best. They offer lamb shank and gyro meat during dinner and weekends on request. You simply ring the bell at the serving line and they will come and take your order. I had no problem coming during the week and ordering more than one plate of each. Lunch is around $ 10 and dinner runs $ 13. This restaurant is just huge and I’m guessing lunch is the only time they can fill the whole space with customers. It has been slow everytime I’ve visited. Items I liked were: –lamb shank –chicken thighs –spinach The cauliflower was cold and some of the bread was hard as a rock, so I definitely didn’t enjoy any of those.

Food was tasty but they limit the amount of Gyro meat you can have to 1 plate. What kind of Mediterranean buffet won’t let you have more than 1 plate of meat per person? Especially since other dimassis locations that I have been to have allowed for unlimited Gyro meat.

I was satisfied with meal. Went around noon and everything was fresh. I only eat their beef kabobs, boneless chicken cubes, hummus, tabouli and potatoes. They also have pretty good baba ganoush. Also each customer gets one plate of gyro meat in the buffet, so make use of it and one plate of lamb chop for dinner. They also have a reward program where after 11 buffet, your 12th one is free. A nice lil incentive. Fountain drinks are included in the buffet along with fresh coffee, ice tea and a local rose water drink. They also have a small dessert section. This dimassis recently upgraded their ambiance and during Lunch hour, the place is pretty packed on weekdays. The only issue I have with this location is the workers. They seem to be always in pissy mood. They usually look Inattentive, and slow. I wonder if they’re over worked and under paid.

These 3 stars are only for the quality and variety of food choices. I often like to take my food out and at Dimassi’s I have to pay an extra $ 7 if I want to take my food to go and that’s about $ 18 for a buffet meal! I even take less food in my box than I would put in my plates at the restaurant. I asked if I eat there, can I take my LEFTOVERSFROMMYPLATE in a box with me to go? and the lady at the front counter said: «No, you can’t take food for free!, you will have to pay the extra money» REALLY? FREE? I merely asked if I can take my leftovers that they would have just thrown away if I ate at the place! I don’t feel like going back to that place. ever.

Food is average however I was a regular customer for lunch because you can always find something to eat. But what happened on my last visit, I would not go back. Last time I went with my family. I entered in restaurant at 8:35 pm. The open sign was on. But the guy on the counter said I cannot have dine in beacuse restaurant close at 9:00. He said I can only have take away. This is ridiculous. How they can refuse to service when restaurant is still open. I hate this place and will never go back.

I don’t understand why people would leave a negative review. it’s a very good selection, fresh everything, delicious food items. I loved it at dimassi ‘S. babaganoush, tzatziki, salads, beef kabob, gyro, is very good. eggplant is awesome. potatoes are well seasoned. chicken kabob is not so good. RICE pudding, baklava is superb. for $ 11.90 drink and dessert included and no tax… that’s the best value out there dear friends. just ignore the fact that some nice Mexican folks cooking kebobs…

1 star is for the outdoor seating and allowing pets; the other star is for the food. The buffet overall is OK for the price(approximately $ 14 for dinner). A solid number of items to choose from and some of which looked unapealing(the shredded beef). The Kafta Kabob is OK, though I had one which smelled a little funny and the lamb shank is decent(don’t expect it to blow your mind; it is a buffet after all). The reason this restaurant does not get the 3rd star is due to the service. The chef behind the food saw my wife and I getting food so he knew we were together. My wife proceeded to ask the man for a lamb shank and gyro meat, to which he responded«you can only have one shank». There is not a single sign which indicates that the buffet is limited to one lamb shank per person. I then proceeded to ask for a lamb shank and the man also stated to me «one per person». This irritated me a little as I was standing inches from the man when he said that to my wife. We proceeded to notify the«manager» that we received poor service, to which we did not receive an apology. If you are looking for OK food with little to no service, this is a good place to go to. If you want really good food, go to Aladdin. IMO they blow these guys out of the water.

The food at Dimassi’s is very good. It is always fresh and plentiful. My favorite dishes are the lamb and yogurt and grilled chicken. I tend to get my food to go due to the lighting/ambience. There are several pendant lights that have been out for months. Some of them are near the buffet and others are directly over dining tables. Also, I’ve been several times where they are playing upbeat Mediterranean background music and others when it is eerily quiet and there is no music. Also I have never seen a management presence on the dining floor, only a lady working the register upfront. I think they these are things that could easily be fixed and make for a more enjoyable dining experience.

Very good food, not fancy restaurant but you can tell that only good quality ingredients are used for all courses. Multiple choices helps to meet everyones taste.

I love this Dimassi’s! We have tried the one in the medical center and the one by the Galleria, neither have as fresh of selection as this one. We drive over on hour to eat here and it is well worth the drive. Even my picky eater enjoys the selection. I have never gotten something that tasted off at this location, wish I could say that for the other two we have visited since they are closer to us.

Great selection of freshly made food, all serve it yourself, drinks and desert included. I have eaten at different locations for years, and my only complaint is that lamb shank is not always available.

If we’re keeping Demassi’s at the standards of buffet restaurants, there are many things this place does exceptionally. Still, it’s not without its inconsistencies. Demassi’s wins your heart the minute you walk in, with its impeccable décor and hardworking staff. The buffet is well organized and the seating/tables is particularly accommodating. We booked for a party of 70 and the restaurant pulled off the service in a breeze. Top marks for that. The vegetarian options at the buffet are impressive: salads, hummus, breads galore. The flaws started coming across in the cooking of non-vegetarian buffet dishes. Their grilled chicken, a massive Mediterranean staple, felt like it was prepared with a KFC Honey Mustard sauce knockoff, not the taste you’d wanna even come close to. The fried chicken was an obvious, massive disappointment, anybody’s whose cooked chicken before could tell it didn’t even look proper. The lamb shanks were inedible, which that was the biggest problem, a dish that needs to be reconsidered by them immediately. The gyro meat, while savory, felt like it was prepared in a pool of oils and butter. You’re never going to expect phenomenal results at a buffet, but this place already has many things going for itself, I would love to see them optimize their menu and come back strong.

So this place is not predictable and that is not a good thing. You want good food but you want standardization meaning you want good food every single time you go to an establishment. Thankfully this time the food was fresh and warm because it is Ramadan. If you go here during their slow time do not expect good food as I wrote in my previous review. Last night it was fresh, the koi pond has been cleaned and there are no more fish in there. Unfortunately they lose two stars because yesterday they did not have baklava and if I am paying in excess of $ 13 for a buffet it better have everything that I am accustomed to. Also, in the middle of people getting coffee, their coffee machine broke and there was a huge cue forming of people and kids endlessly wanting coffee. Rule #1: If a machine is broken and you see a bunch of kitchen help outside with their aprons on trying to resuscitate a machine, it probably means that it’s MALFUNCTIONING! Rule #2: Kids are loud and if you can’t control them, you are probably an out of control person as well and neither of you should step outside the bounds of your house!

This place! First time here and it is right by the office. I really dig Mediterranean food and Demassi’s is the best. Does, not taste like buffet food and you have at least 16 dishes too choose from. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner they even bake fresh loaves of bread right in front of you.11. 00 for lunch

I should definitely stay clear of Buffets because lets face it, buffets are hardly ever delicious and I will keep making rounds. Dimassi’s overall as a chain has gone down in quality. Every location seems to be worse then the one I tried before. and I have tried lots of Dimassi’s. This one in particular is quite new and so at first glance it looks like it can be quite different. They offer lots of choices, too many to name but I am a sucker for tabouli, cucumber salad, hummus, those little beef links, falafel, fish, lamb, grilled veggies, eggplant, rice, potatoes. You name it they have it. 2 buffets with 2 drinks was a total of $ 28. This is quite pricey. I could have easily gone to Fadis and paid about the same for 2 plates which is more than enough and better quality. In terms of a Buffet, the food is good and you will stuff yourself and you definitely will not be hungry. This is certainly not my first choice but if you really just want food and lots of it… this would be a good choice.

Good if you are hungry and just don’t know what to eat… There is an abundance of appetizers, soups, stews, baked pastries, salads, and desserts. They lack 2 stars because I feel their meat selection could use a little help. I have tried their chicken skewers, small beef kufte(meatball shaped like a flag football) and the baked fish in sauce and they are all equally disappointing. They aren’t bad in the sense that one wouldn’t eat them again, but they are worth exploring the buffet bar. I am definitely sticking to their dips and salads because those are the reason this place earned a 3 star review. Oh and do try their rice pudding it is surprisingly extremely delicious.

Dimassi’s is a very decent buffet-style Mediterranean restaurant, a small chain around Texas. They have a wide variety of middle-eastern fare and the quality is all very decent. It’s not the best you’ll get in the area, but it’s perfectly fine for lunch or dinner. For the price, you get a lot for your money and I’ve never been dissatisfied. They offer American-style food for folks who aren’t into hummus and pita. The Chicken Fajitas and fried chicken come to mind, although I’ve never tried them! For someone trying to watch what they eat, I know buffets aren’t normally the best option, but this is probably one of the healthiest buffets you’ll find. There’s plenty of non-fried items, plenty of vegetables, and lots of lean meats that will satisfy most folks. On my most recent visit, I had mustard chicken, hummus, fattoush, pita, and tabbouli. Those are my go-to items here and they’re always very good. Their potato salad and fried potatoes are also very good. The falafel is pretty good as well. Their coffee is almost always fresh and goes great with the baklava. If you want fine Mediterranean dining, there are better options, but they’re not as quick or as good a value as this place. Judging it for what it is, it’s a very good option in the area and is very popular. During prime times, it can get busy, but there’s always plenty of seating and I find it to be a great place to eat when I’m flying solo during the work day.
