We went to the hotel this past weekend and wanted to order a small snack to take up to our room. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and my friend ordered the Frito pie. I also decided to order the cheese plate for later. When we got our food and headed back to the hotel room, I opened the bag and noticed that my soup had macaroni noodles and not egg noodles like the menu said. When I went down to complain, they said that that’s how they always do it and the menu was wrong (they also said that the ad for the restaurant in the elevator displaying short rib Frito pie was wrong as well). I asked for a refund for the Frito pie and the soup, since I wanted to eat with my friend. We ended up getting James Coney Island which was on the same block. Later that night, when I opened up the cheese plate, it consisted of cubed cheddar and parmesan (with rind still on) and 4 slices of what looked like rolled cheap mozzarella and old prosciutto that they bought from a Walmart.

Had the House Burger and a cup of chili for dinner. The chili was pretty good, but had beans in it, the burger however was one the blandest burgers I’ve ever had the misfortune of tasting.

I went there for lunch with a friend. i had a grilled cheese with the tomato basil soup. The soup was awesome, the sandwhich was ok. My friend had the veggie wrap that was great to her, but she got the chicken noodle and wasn’t impressed. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice as well.

Excellent service and for being a hotel restaurant, the food isn’t bad at all. The reason I give this place 4 stars is simply because the food could be a bit better. Apart from that, it’s a great, clean atmosphere.

Just ate lunch at Clay Urban Kitchen and had the chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese, avocado and roasted red peppers! Man, was it AWESOME!
