Chipotle Mexican Grill

The service was so bad & super slow. Literally waited in line for 20 min and one person was already getting their food & one person before me. Never had such slow service, plus you could tell they didn’t want to be there.

I usually love chipotle, and I don’t ever remember having problems with this location until now. I hadn’t been to this location in awhile but today’s visit was completely unsatisfactory. They gave very little portions, and when we asked for a bit more lettuce, for example, they would reluctantly add a few more leaves (not to mention that they initially only gave a few pieces). Also, the guac was a sickly green color and is definitely not fresh. The only reason I gave this review two stars and not one is because I love chipotle. Either way, service here and ingredients here are terrible.

Good food and service. Lost 2 stars because they gave me a bag of stale chips to go with my guacamole. That is just wrong.

Staff is always nice and friendly there is always a long line buy the staff can definitely handle it! My favorite Chipotle to eat

I have eaten here at least twice a week for the past three years. The food is wonderful and the service (the people) are even better. Sharon and the whole crew are very nice. Great alternative to a long, sit down lunch.

This Chipotle location is freaking terrible. All their ingredients aren’t fresh (corn isn’t sweet or even yellow for the matter, pico is mushy, meat cold) and their portions are ridiculously small. The workers are not generous what so ever when it comes to meat and are always in a rush even when they’re not busy. This location gets extremely busy, especially during lunch hours. Overall, the only reason why I even bother coming to this location is bc it’s the closest one near me.

Slow and not fresh is how i review this place. I came in at 3pm, the line was not long but i had to wait almost 10mins for my turn. I’ve been here very often since it’s near my apartment. None of the times leaves me good impression and they’re not improving. Slow service and the food tastes like leftover.

Fresh it is, and fresh it does. I usually get the chicken bowl with rice, and it’s always good. I love the fact the food is cooked right in front of you, and the service is pretty fast. I love the option of being able to dress up my black beans and rice, with tomatoes, onions, corn, cheese, lettuces, etc… The price is really good, for a restaurant style fast food. I like everything about this place, except on the days and times when it’s pack they tend to be stingy with the chicken and beans. I literally have to ask for more, because they give you so little. You literally get one scoop of chicken, and come on is that really enough to fill up the bowl. If you get an extra scoop you are charged a pricey amount, which I don’t like. My friend got extra chicken and guacamole, and her plate went from &6.00 to $ 11.00 and I was like what, because the amount she was given should be the standard. It’s a cool spot to have a nice healthy option for fast food. Yeah Chipotle!!!

I haven’t had chipotle that much but this is the best chipotle I’ve ever had. They have customer service and they aren’t THAT stingy with the meat. It’s also very clean in the condiment area. I used to go to the one on Eldridge past briar Forrest til one day they gave me steak that was about medium rare, didn’t know they could even put that out to serve to people.

As I’m writing this review, I’m getting super annoyed thinking about how much I LOVE Chipotle and how much this location sucks ass. I often catch myself purposely avoiding it as I drive by and (sadly) stare at the Chipotle sign.
Typically, I don’t feel the need to review «chain» restaurants as they’re all pretty much the same, HOWEVER, I’ve decided that I had to do it (in hopes that management or a genie sees it and fixes this place). The problem isn’t about the service here; it’s about the taste /​quality of food, which is terrible. My question is — how in the world does one fk up Chipotle food!!! That is exactly what the people that work here have done. They fkd up the food; the meat, the rice, and even the salsas are so blah and tasteless that I prefer to get a sandwich instead. A sandwich, I said! In my entire foodie existence, I have never picked sandwiches over Mexican BUT, when I’m in this area, I have to and that… that is when I turn into the Hulk and start throwing things haha
Anyway… don’t be fooled by the «Chipotle» sign, people — AVOID this location, it’s not worth the disappointment :(

As the years have gone by, so has my respect for this establishment.
I’ve been hit on, I’ve caught attitude NUMEROUS times, I’ve waited 30 minutes for brown rice when I was told «5 minutes», and I swear my burrito bowls get smaller and smaller every visit. The list goes on.
Personally, I think Chipotle employees have a god complex. Just because you control my portion size based on some whimsical judgment call on me doesn’t make you better than me. I’m not being nice to you because I’m brown nosing for a bigger scoop of chicken, or feinding for guac and I want a hookup. It’s because being polite is common courtesy. And you work in the service industry, the least you can do is be civil in return, no matter what you think of me.

Poor service, food just like the Chipotle on Dunvale.
I asked for a chicken bowl and wanted pinto beans but they were out. The server was about to pass my bowl down without giving me any beans at all until I asked again and a new drum of beans came out. My S.O. Ordered a steak bowl and the portion was so tiny because he did not want beans, corn or grilled veggies. They could have thrown in more rice, meat or salsa!
The cashier charged me for two steak bowls instead of one steak and one chicken. I told him so and to my surprise, he tells me that it’s ‘only 30 cents more’. WOW just appalling! (By the way, it was 70 cents more). I said that is not acceptable and he then offers me a drink to which I said NO. I asked if he can throw in another scoop of meat in one of the bowls to which he did but it was like 1 tbsp of added meat. Horrendous service! I never had a customer service rep charge me more and think it is OK!

Had a Buritto Bowl twice now at this location 2 times now over the past week!
Love they are super fast even when there is a line up to the door!
The meat is made fresh right infront of you on the grill, have tried both the chicken and the steak, relish!
The rice is yummy also, love that i can get brown rice here!
Oh, and they are super generous with the scoop of avacado! Makes a big difference when they charge almost 2 dollars a pop per scoop! lol

It makes me so sad when Chipotle is disappointing and this one was definitely disappointing last night. Usually when I come to this one the staff is friendly and attentive. Last night the staff was so over it. They looked tired. It looked as if the people that are in charge of fixing the food were on the floor and the ones that are usually handling the back where out on the line. One lady didn’t even try to understand my simple order. She was even worse to the guy behind me. The slapped the food in the bowl and wrapped it up before I even had a chance to add more cheese! I was so disappointed with the chicken that I had to ask the server is that really chicken and I feel that’s a question that one should never have to ask at Chipotle. Very disappointed with the service and the meal.

As someone who used to eat Chipotle five to seven times per week, I think it’s safe to say I’ve had more than my share of burrito bowls, salads and tacos. Thus, I’m well-​versed in the art of Chipotle fat assery. It’s hard to find locations that are consistent, but…
This location just gets it! The portions are generous, the meat doesn’t taste rubbery or funny like the Heights location, the ingredients are as fresh as they can be (I’ve seen pico de gallo that was discolored at other locations), and the employees work hard to crank orders out in a timely manner. Long lines occur during peak hours, but I’ve never waited longer than 15 – 20 minutes, which for me, is doable.
Well done. Bertha (my inner fatness) and I are pleased. ;-)

This location is great but always busy during lunch time. I always enjoy the burrito bowl, it’s not too heavy and very filling. Staff is always friendly…
The food is always fresh and it’s nice to have other food places to choose from around you as well. I always go to the Jamba Juice next door when I visit Chipotle.
Parking does get packed but I have always found decent parking in the area. If your getting a to go order the wait in line is not bad at all… they operate pretty fast and get you out.
When I crave a burrito I come here. you’ll enjoy it too

This Chipotle would be good (but not great) if their workers didn’t look over-​worked, tired, and sweaty enough to make me wonder if they dripped (ew) into the food.
Of course, I also came during dinner rush.
I suppose what made my visit here kind of sour (not because of the sweat, I hope!) is other patrons. There were these people of an ethnicity that shall not be named who made such a big hassle about customizing their food (some more lettuce, no that’s too much, no that’s not enough, mild salsa before lettuce and hot salsa after, put some queso on top, blah blah blah blah blah blah) that they caused the line to back up all the way around the restaurant and out the door!!!
At some point, management needs to just put their feet down and tell customers like that to stop being such arses. Not on this day, as the rest of us starved in line.

It’s just good, basic, healthy, fresh, food cooked in a modern way. My love for chipotle started when my younger sister introduced me to them via their famous bowl! Ever since that first bite of mixed ingredient heaven I was hooked. Where else can you go and for $ 7.00-$ 10.00 get such a well prepared, freshly made, integrity food made with such simple & basic everyday ingredients? If you have never tried Chipotle, I mean, I have no words for you. I really don’t, other than go get you some ASAP! The experience is even tailored around their consumer. From the beginning of the order line to the checkout register. You are picking and choosing in what order and what kind of protein, veggie, salsa, etc goes on your dish. It really is food with integrity done right.
