When my party and I arrived in GBI on our way back to Vegas, we stopped in to grab some food before our flight. They have a «please wait to be seated» sign out front but the employees were too busy joking around and conversing with each other to seat us in a very empty restaurant. Finally someone came by and said they would be with us in a moment and then went back to joking with another employee. At this point the line grew from us 4 to about 10 people waiting to be sat. Once we were seated our waitress Ashley came to the table to take our drink orders. She was pleasant but got the orders wrong bringing 3 sprites and 2 waters instead of 3 waters and 2 sprites. After we placed our orders we waited an average amount of time to receive our food. When it came to the table the food presentation was quite underwhelming. I ordered a sampler platter with cheese bites, egg rolls, and boneless buffalo wings with a side of loaded mashed potatoes. The egg rolls and cheese bites tasted a little«funny» and the first bite of the boneless buffalo wings revealed that it was cold on the inside highlighting that it was not cooked properly. I sent the platter back due to the fact that it was unappetizing and I did not enjoy any of the little amount of food I did eat. I ordered a side of fries which was probably the best thing I ate b/c the loaded mashed potatoes also fell into the category of unappetizing food presented to me from the kitchen. After this experience I spent the next 45 minutes before my flight throwing up in the bathroom. Don’t eat here. They don’t cook the food properly and they don’t value their patrons time or money.

Chilis is gone OMG!!! It has resided in IAH Terminal B for over 10 years. However the summer of 2015 it has disappeared. Café Adobe is now in its spot.

Since there was no other sit down restaurant in the A terminal we went to Chili’s. We waited for well over 10 minutes to be seated and the line of people waiting with us grew. I finally asked someone if we could be seated as we could see lots of open tables. The staff member responded with, «we are short staffed so you will just wait in a seat or wait there.» Negative 1 star service at this point. Finally we were seated and were greeted by Gessica with a big smile and great efficiency. She was fabulous. 5 star service from her. We split a burger that was tasty(but most burgers are for me) and ate the ubiquitous fries. Nothing special. 3 stars for food. My suggestion: Ask for Gessica and you will be fine.

Ordered a vodka tonic with lime-no lime? OK. Later, ordered the molten chocolate cake. No chocolate to drizzle on top? Out of chocolate? When we complained only an apology, no discount. It was an airport Chili’s(Houston) but come on!

Food was okay… Make sure you have a minimum an hour before you border because it’s take time to step in & order food. And make sure the server listening and understanding your order ;-)

Awful service from the bartender-not a friendly and welcoming environment. Ordered a side of Fries and watched some fall to the floor. Not nearly a big enough portion of food. Very disappointed in this location. Boooo.

No Alcohol at the bar and the manager has no sign up saying the bar is closed. So after a 30 minute wait, I’m pissed.

Incredibly slow. Limp overdressed salad with stale quesadilla. Over cooked burger. Weak watery iced tea. Zero service. Forty minutes to get food and twenty more to get check –had to threaten to leave to even begin to get attention. Inexcusable, and especially in an airport restaurant.

Many people say airport food is airport food. Well, it is and it isn’t. I’d recently spent nearly $ 10 on a sandwich and drink at a restaurant in DFW. I was not going to let that happen to me again, so when I spotted Chili’s and they had a To Go window here at IAH, I grabbed the opportunity to get something to eat during my layover in Dallas. For just a bit more than $ 10, I got a huge turkey club sandwich, a gargantuan drink that was surely to send me to the restroom multiple times on my flights and a side order of fries! Woah! The sandwich was way more than I could eat; the turkey on it was roasted breast meat that was lean, nicely sliced and abundant. Several slices of bacon, some chopped romaine lettuce and a tomato slice added to the sandwich. Fries were yummy, even with no ketchup. Again, couldn’t finish them. I would have given this Chili’s 4 stars, BUT: **The To Go order took 17 minutes to come out. That’s a bit too long for people who may be pressed for time; **The«Texas Toast» it was served on was really thickly sliced wheat bread that was toasted. Flavor was a tad soggy once I dug my teeth into it; **Chili’s needs to realize that many people are grabbing food to actually take with them on the plane. There was absolutely no way that I could have done that with the Styrofoam container that this sandwich and fries were placed in. I’m guessing that the measurements on the ONE container I was given was approximately 12″ X 16″ X 5″; it barely fit in the bag that I they placed it in and in my opinion constituted nearly a piece of luggage of its own. I had intended to take this with me; however because of the physical size of the container that it was put in, I could not carry it along with my luggage(and the massive drink) onto a crowded aircraft. Had Chili’s packaged this in two smaller containers, this would have been much more manageable and chances are I would have eaten my fries in Houston and my sandwich in Dallas(rather than the entire thing at once). Good food, Chili’s, but you need to speed up the To Go window and alter the way you wrap that food for your customers.

Our server James Dirk was so amazing. A kid left his iPad at the table next to us. James grabbed it and went looking for the dad and kid. He found them! He was amazing and so is the food.

Really slow service. Had just landed from abroad and was craving American food, decided to stop here and wished I hadn’t. It took about 10 – 15 minutes for someone to get my drink order. Our order was taken, appetizer came, we got refills on our drinks, but yet he never picked up or took away cups or plates we no longer needed. I had to start stacking up everything in order for the waiter to see it was time to start taking things away. We got used to asking for the bill after being abroad for a while, but I didn’t think I had to come home ask for it here as well.

Bad review but I’ll rate them high anyway because I’m not a bad person. This place is good but the entry fee is really steep. I had to pay $ 599.99 just to get past security. Plus on the way a gruff woman officer patted me down and took away my secret McGriddles. All of that was worth Chili’s chipotle chicken flatbread but I didn’t even get a booth seat. About an hour into my Original Chicken Crispers they started calling my name on the loudspeaker and finally some angry employees made me board a plane. Then it cost me another $ 599 to get back and finish my oven-baked chocolate chip cookie skillet topped with vanilla ice cream & drizzled with hot fudge. But by the time I got back the Chili’s staff had thrown away my cookie and they refused to refund my tickets! I’m never spending $ 1,000 plus to eat at Chili’s again!

The bar tender/waitress Dietrea is the worst f&”):ing bartender. I finished my beer and appetizer and she did not ask me if I wanted another drink or food or my check or anything else. I’m at the bar, right in front of her and 45 minutes go by and nothing from her, no service at all. She asked 7 guy customers sitting at the bar if they wanted another drink and fucking ignored me for 45 minutes. I was so pissed off I asked for my f@:&(&sing check and I gave her no tip. What she is doing is just wrong. Corporate are you listening to me!

One star for alcohol and one for seating(only because I’m in an airport). I ordered a water, a beer, chicken strips and caesar salad. Beer came right away… nice :-) Caesar had two stems in the salad and the chicken strips were the grossest I’ve ever seen — I couldn’t even bite into it, granted I’m picky about meat especially chicken. Water still never came. The manager was quick to grab it and very nice. The host was also quick to seat me and friendly. I guess you are really limited here, but I just want to manage expectations.

Normally I like Chilis. I like the understanding of with a chain you know what you are getting. I like the southwestern egg rolls(yum!). I like the reasonable prices for a reasonable amount of food. Now…put a chilis in an airport and you lose all that. You lose the reasonable prices. You lose the good portions of food for the price. It all becomes a little bit of a mathematics game — trying to figure out what will fill you up the most without ruining your holiday budget. The egg rolls were good though!

It’s much easier to get a seat at the bar if you’re solo. Surprisingly I had a pleasant dining experience here. The bartender deitra is a sweet gal so no issues with customer service. They don’t have the light/healthy version of their menu but I ordered the 6oz grilled salmon with garlic and herbs and subbed out the rice with double brocolli. Although the salmon was a tad salty, the steamed brocolli balanced out the saltiness. It was still pretty good to me and it was filling. The salmon was grilled perfectly to my standards. I also don’t have to feel as bad or guilty that it was«unhealthy» for those health conscious folks!

Never have I been to a place that was less eager to take my money. I’m an honest person, but waiting 15 minutes to buy a pre made salad is absurd, and makes me want to steal it since no one is around to take my money. After asking repeatedly for help, which apparently only one person is trained to do, the cashier finally comes out of the back and process to ignore the two of us ‘buying’ food. We end up telling her that ‘we’d like to buy these salads’(still not sure what she thought we were doing, standing at the register holding salads) and she casually rings us up. Well, she rings the man in front of me up, and then we repeat the same dance when it’s my turn. The only difference is that in the middle of ringing me up, she answers the phone and begins taking a call-in order. I’m waiting for my receipt and a pen to sign, and she acts like I’m no longer there. Finally she gets off the phone(after I bagged my own food, since this cashier is obviously useless) and gives me this blank stare like ‘why are you still here?’, at which point I say I need a pen to sign the receipt. I was generous and gave her a $ 0 tip, which is generous since I pretty much did her job for her, and didn’t steal the crummy $ 10 Caesar salad in the first place. Chilistoo to go, you have severely let me down. I guess considering it’s in an airport, I should’ve expected it, but I thought they were still trying to earn money.

Pump em out, pump em in. Why is it only Chili’s restaurants that seem to have people waiting in long lines at airports? Is the food that great? Tempting? Do they strategically place in congested terminals where they can always appear to be busy and appealing because no other restaurants in their right mind would locate there? I dunno but I got me a salad and a Texas-sized Texas beer and I was straight up on time for my boarding. Satisfied.

Ever walked into a place and the smell was so bad you had to leave? Yep this was that place for me. It had that unwashed dishcloth smell. Dank, stale and nasty. I stood in line for a moment only to realize that I couldn’t eat with that smell and even if I could, I’d be worried about getting sick! So think of a sponge that’s been soaked an used and used and it just has that odor… that about sums it up
