I really like coming here with the family and we all order something and eat al la carte. The kabobs are flavorful and juicy. But takes forever to get to the table. The wait for food is about 30 mins which is forever when your hungry and seeing other people eat. We always order the beef and chicken kabobs, chicken tikkas, and Bihari kabob, with Puri and Paratha. Sitting is limited and usually gets packed around 7.

This review is based on service only and not quality of food. I would give them a 5 for food but 0 for service. I had out of town family visiting and we had a long day but wanted to eat kabobs here. I called them to ask what time they stop serving and they said«last order at 10:15pm». We got there at 10:10 and the man behind the register and the Manager refused us service. They argued with us for the 5 minutes during which we could have ordered. Worst of all, they said we can ask the employees if they are willing to grill the kabobs for us? Owner and people who work here are a joke! I really wish they could have respected our time and told us no over the phone. It was a 30 minute drive for me! I am boycotting this location. I’m only going to bissonett one. This place is a disgrace to Pakistani restaurants in the US. Hello people, you live in the USA, learn some customer service standards. I’m an American born Pakistani writing this– good food but Shameful customer service.

OMG!!! I LOVELOVELOVE this place! The food is amazing. You’re going to overeat so don’t eat much during the day if you’re going to have dinner here. The prices are reasonable. I usually get the chicken leg, beef kabob and halwa puri cholay. Every time I come here, I eat like I’ve never seen food in my life lol.

There old location on 1960 closed down a few months back or they moved to a new location. The people behind the counter are rude. I asked for biryani and the person yelled at me. «we don’t have biryani! We dot sell biryani!!! There bbq is great. The behari Kebab is awesome, the chicken kebab is good also.

Good food. Lamb chops were awesome. Place not so clean and be ready to wait atleast 30 minutes minimum for any orders. Owners are friendly. Tried QUAIL just because it was halal but it was awful and full of bones. This rating is only for lamb chops.

It’s the best grilled Desi spot on houston. Try the chicken tikka and beef boti. It’s is a run down place and perhaps not that sanitary but the quality of food is un parallel

The food is alright, but in summer this place is filled with smoke and its really hot. There are no blinds to stop the sunlight coming in and it makes you blind. So much so that you forget that you are here to relax and enjoy food not taking a sunbath.

Beware, the location shown on Unilocal’s map is incorrect, it is not in front of willowbrook mall, it is actually 3 miles down 1960. The address listed is right though. Use google maps to find it. This is a very busy place, you pretty much go to the counter and order and they’ll bring your food to the table, you can pay after you’ve finished eating. I have no clue what the menu items were so we just asked the person taking our order to suggest dishes. He recommended Behari kabab(beef) and the Seekh kabab(goat chops). We also ordered mango lasis and a side of naan. Both dishes were pretty spicy and tender; the char on the meat added a nice touch. I would definitely come back to try other items. There is really not much atmosphere to this place, it’s pretty simple and stripped down but really I think you come here for the food more than anything else.

Not recommended all the word of mouth. Direction is messed up on Unilocal. Not clean restaurant with no clean floors, counter and restroom. There is only one restroom pee gender that are not clean. Filthy restrooms tells a customer a lot sbout cleanliness in the kitchen. Food comes in paper plates from the dollar store, kids r running around and there is not enough space to eat. Now to the food part There is really nothing to brag about the food. It’s ok for those people who have not eaten in places around southwest Houston. The portion size are good but the price are about 1 – 2 $ more for the same food elsewhere. Unless there is no other place close by its a ok place but not worth driving from SW. That explains my one star review.

Excellent food, better than the one in Karachi Pakistan. Tried their halwa puri, chichen tikka, bihari roll, bihari kabab and Naan so far. Remember it is a desi place so don’t expect a service like olive garden or such, somebody will fill your water every 5 min.

3.5 if we could. I like it and I’d return but there’s room for some improvements. Staff is friendly and if you’re not aware of the lingo, you might not be able to get what you want. The chicken and beef kebabs are good. The behari was a bit weird but had plenty of taste. When something is noted as spicy, it is spicy. I want to return but with a better understanding of the menu and what we want.

Strictly kabobs! No veggies, there is naan and fried naan. Definitely recommend chicken and beef kabob. I was not a big fan of ground beef it had a weird texture, this is not like Persian kabobs it’s Indian. Good place for snacks and light meal, it can be pretty heavy if you order a lot.

So the restaurant is dirty inside just as most Indian/Pakistani restaurants tend to be, but the food is delicious! This location is less crowded than the other location which is why some people prefer coming here. I love the bihari kebab, but most of the items besides the quail are also delicious. The quail is unfortunately very unappetizing and should NOT be ordered. Perhaps it was old and that was why it didn’t taste good, but avoid that. Other than that, the food is good!

It’s great to have Pakistani style spicy n smoky meat from here. but I ll recommend to take it to go. Because i been there for two times, with my was too crowdy. And I don’t like their serving plastic plates and pitchers it’s better to take it with u and enjoy tasty food at home. the interior of restaurant was ok but the food was really yummy. especially behaari kabab served with Naan and sauces. and BBQ chicken was done perfectly, tender n juicy. Don’t forget to have their Halwa with strong cup of tea.

This was my first time here. The place is empty, but it is also 2 p.m., so that is fine. I just started a low — carb diet, so I have been looking for some good places to get my protein — heavy diet in. The only side items offered are bread, fried bread or rice, so they are off my list of options. I walked in and they greeted me at the counter. Their menu board is very minimal, with only the names of their kebabs up there. The gentleman at the counter noticed my struggle to figure things out and gave me a menu with the prices on it. That was helpful. Then he started explaining what each of the main dishes were. Also helpful! Then he showed me the display case with the kebabs in it, and what each thing was. Also very helpful! All in all, they seem to be willing to work with«foreigners». They do not offer a sods fountain, and their canned soda options are minimal: coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Fanta. They also serve tap water or sell bottled water. I Ordered The Behari kabab(beef) and Started to dig in. OH man, nasty texture! The meat was like mush in my mouth. It was kabab pâté. It looked like tasty morals of meat, but I couldn’t handle the texture! Especially without bread to cover it up! Just be aware, if you order the begari, just know that it is meant to «melt in your mouth.» BUTWAIT, THERE’S MORE! I took it up to the counter explaining MY personal distaste for the behari, and the owner grabbed another kabab with more bite to it and threw it on the grill for me. I applaud his customer service! He knows how to make a person come back! The next kabab was a MUCH better texture for my taste buds! It was a little spicy, but great middle eastern flavors! Yummmy! The sauces were thin, but added another depth of flavor if you like onion, the bed of raw onions, together with the the meat adds a great crunchy component to the meat. I’m trying the chicken next. It is hard to mess up chicken. I wish I was not on this diet, because their naan bread looks great! Give them a try. The prices seem reasonable. The customer service was great! Not happy? Let them know, and they will hopefully take care of you like they did for me! HAPPYEATING!

Grilled chops hands down the best tasty, tender grilled meat at Bundu Khan. But this updated review has to do with the unsanitary handling of the water pitcher. Did you know those stainless steel pitchers are never washed after they’ve been used by a customer? They re-shelved them. OMG! It’s disgusting. While waiting for our table to be cleaned, the server grabbed the stainless steel pitcher from our table, took the pitcher in the back where she had the tap water running and refilled the pitcher. She then added some ice cubes and brought the same pitcher back to our table. What? That pitcher was used by previous customer and they must have breathe on it, contaminated the remaining water or who knows what. And they’re serving it back to the next customer? Want to know another reason for giving Bundu Khan a eek! Me thinks not rating from Yay! I’m a fan? There’s two guys who take turns in manning the cashier/taking orders. You have to watch for the chubby one. The chubby guy will keep punching the cash register without saying a word except how much you owe. We don’t even know what he is charging us. The receipt doesn’t itemized. He will charge you extra for something you did not order so be very attentive in knowing what you ordered and the price.
