Out of tea. Out of jalapeño ranch. Chips were all crushed. Took 35 minutes to get one(1) burrito. When I got it, it was cold and stuck to the plate. Would not box it for me when I asked to make it Togo after 30 minutes(FYI Togo cost additional). If you want mediocre, over priced texmex, I suggest anywhere else. Maybe try Taco Bell? I will never be back to this location.

Went here with a Groupon. The tacos were excellent! I don’t really even like Mexican food. I was pleasantly surprised. I got a sampler with fish, beef, and another taco. I would go back.

This is my second bad experience with this location. I ordered to go last night. I didn’t bother to sip the mint lemonade until I got home. It was very syrupy and extra sweet. I had to dilute with water in order to drink some. What I have concluded is that the lemonade was spoiled and it was overly sweetened to mask the the spoiled taste. Well it didn’t mask the smell. This location needs an overhaul poor food and so so service.

Went here with an old colleague and mentor to grab a beer and some tacos. Nice selection of beers and great tacos. Had the original fish and the Korean. Korean was excellent as well as the Original Fish.

Love their drinks more than I should!!! Pretty fresh margaritas for a very low key, american tex-mex chain. It’s pretty relaxed especially for a weekend. They have decent food too. I’m definitely not complaining about this place. If you want to have a very chill tex-mex drink, this is a good place to consider.

Love this place and the food! Great shrimp tacos and every thing else is delicious as well. hey have a great happy hour and the staff is always friendly. I salute them for saying Merry Christmas and supporting our troops. Just because you say Merry Christmas does not mean you are not accepting to others, that is political correctness nonsense. My Jewish friends say Merry Christmas to me and I say happy Hanukkah to them, I actually have Muslim friends with Christmas trees in their homes, go figure. Anyone who thinks it is unacceptable in the United States to say Merry Christmas just doesn’t get it. Peace to all and goodwill to everyone.

A note: Have never been there but will stop in next time in Houston, why? Because I support an establishment that brings honor to Christmas, our service members, and Country!

This used to be my lunch spot when visiting the Galleria. Will never return. The atmosphere’s great, the staff are really friendly, the food is average. But here’s my issue: when the Coroprate office starts dicating who’s welcome and who’s not, in the form of a nasty poster on the door, that’s divisive. It may be good for business, but it’s bad for the community. «Bless us Lord this Christmas with quietness of mind, teach us to be patient and always to be kind.» — Then again… we could just be rude and obnoxious and moronically try to politicize the season by telling people that if they don’t salute the flag or praise the Police they are«not welcome at the Inn.» Congratulations corporate Berryhill for completely misrepresenting the spirit of the season, much like you misrepresent the cuisine of MEXICO!!!

As I remember this place, it was fun and good food and easy-on-the-wallet prices. Good margaritas and chips and salsa. I really like their fish tacos, too. Now, they’re actually saying, «Merry Christmas,» and I love this place even more. I’m trying to get on their website to see if I can get some gift cards, but it’s so busy, I get redirected. I’ll keep trying to support this place you should too. Whatever. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, support our troops — they’re watching out for us – and God Bless America. Thank you, Jeff Anon !!!

Got the groupon for this place, self serve with free nachos and salsa, fish tacos were alright nothing special, fried fish, probably a good sports bar with plenty of seating and drink variety, not a place if ur looking for amazing fish tacos, also got the Korean beef taco which I advise you to avoid, too spicy and poor quality beef

Good spot for Tacos and burritos in galleria. The food is hit or miss depending on what you order. Recommend the tostada and avocado tempura taco. The drink specials and the salsa bar are also highlights.

This place gets a bad rap, probably due to the other franchises and the occasional flub. With that said I find it to be an excellent destination for lunch and they sure do make a mean burrito. The hogados burrito is as good as it gets, I also happen to like their chunky but still soupy tomato based salsa, agreed the chips could be fresher but then again they are FREE so whose complaining? Shrimp tacos are a little too generous with the sauce, but again that’s minor they’re delicious too. Staff while limited seemed diligent, efficient, and friendly. They’ve been pretty consistently good on my trips here, so I’d say give them a go for a quick lunch; as food is normally served within 10 minutes.

I normally come to this location during lunch hour and the service is decent. The food is ok but I really just like the chips and salsa. I’ve tasted the salsa at other locations and for some reason it’s just not the same.

Really disappointed with the service. Called in my order at 11:38am and was told it would be 10 – 15 mins. Got there when it wasn’t busy, no one in line, it was 11:48 and was told it would be 5 more minutes. They started to get busy and people who came in after me got their food. 40 mins into placing my order, I still had no food. I got a refund. Went to panera and 3 mins later, I had my lunch. Thanks for wasting my entire hour of lunch.

Berry hill what did I do to piss you off? Every time we come to this location it’s something. Tonight you said we couldn’t use our groupon for take out. Ok cool the only reason we were getting it to go is because every time we sit at the bar we get ignored. I have seriously said the bar staring at the bartender for 15 minutes trying to close the tab. So we get our food home in my small case so which is normally quite a bit at the restaurant is a 4 ounce cup, barely enough for one person. And then was completely jacked on the meat on the quesadilla. This location is one mile from our house so its so obnoxious the service is so bad. Please please please get your bartenders under control. At least if I have to drive to the buffalo speedway location I can get free ice cream.

We frequent the Berryhill chain a lot, but try to avoid this particular location because it is so gloomy. And yesterday’s experience pretty much seals it up. We wanted fish tacos, and were in the area, so our family stopped there for lunch. We ordered tacos and a Kids Quesadilla meal, requesting fruit instead of fries or rice. The cashier entered something that displayed«healthy choice» on the register. Once the food was brought, my daughter’s meal was served with fries. We told the server it should have fruit. He looked confused, and I could not remember the Spanish word for fruit so I couldn’t elaborate in a helpful way. He left and brought back someone else, who again did not know what we meant by «fruit». Then a woman approached our table. I thought she was another customer based on how she was dressed(Pink-brand t-shirt, stretch capris, running shoes — basically workout gear) and said the cashier who took our order is new and they don’t offer fruit. I asked her why it was available at the other Berryhill locations but not here. She said, «That other one must be a franchise.(???) We don’t cater to kids at this location.» I looked down at my 1yo sitting in one of their highchairs and my 3yo coloring with their crayons and puzzle/picture paper, and referenced that I had ordered this off their Kids Menu. AND Unilocal states it’s «Good for Kids». APPARENTLYNOT. It’s not like this is in a heavy bar district. It’s in a strip mall. And the chips were STALE — in the middle of lunch hour. Yuck. I’ll now avoid this location permanently, and recommend others do the same.

This place is really a 2.5, but«meh I’ve experienced better» is definitely an applicable phrase. The free chips and salsa are nice, but I’m not a huge salsa fan. We ordered the guacamole(small maybe?), the shrimp salad, and my boyfriend got the fajitas. The guacamole was SO small. I remember thinking for the price(or any price?) it made no sense. I think I maybe got 3 – 5 chip-fulls. The shrimp salad was fine. I didn’t love the dressing. Maybe that was my fault, but the woman at the counter didn’t recommend any either. The whole salad was pretty whatever to me, but it wasn’t a bad price. My boyfriend really liked his fajitas, but for $ 14 or so I would hope so. That’s really not that low of a price for a place my boyfriend had touted as inexpensive. Given how much amazing Tex-Mex there is in Houston, I may be being harsh on this place, but I would recommend going elsewhere if you can. You can find comparably priced Tex-Mex with free chips and salsa(and green salsa some places!!) and just better overall food.

It is January 2 at about 330 in the afternoon. I have been craving fish tacos all day stopped here at the Galleria location of Barry Hills. The place is pretty crowded for a Friday afternoon I guess there’s a lot of people off work. when I walked in this guy it knowledged me and said I’ll be right with you. I was a little apprehensive because I thought it’s too crowded for one guy to take care of. But within about a minute he ran over and took my order within about 10 minutes I got my order of food. The fish tacos were outstanding as always. always consistently good no deviation of quality. What make this place a great visit was the outstanding service of one employee that happen beworking with all these people showed up at once. It’s not too often that you see people rise above and work at a standing Level but today this guy really made this place proud. I highly recommend this location of Berry hills !

Great breakfast! My wife wanted breakfast tacos and we walked to this spot: nice find as it was very good. Got their original breakfast tacos and they were excellent. If you want to get all taste buds going they have complimentary chips and salsa with breakfast.
