The wood-​fired oysters are outstanding, and if you arrive before 7pm you can take advantage of their happy hour pricing which I highly recommend. The wines by the glass are a great compliment to their menu, as are the beers on tap. The staff at the bar always provide you with a sample of the wine and beer before pouring you a glass, which is a great way to ensure you don’t get stuck with something that isn’t quite to your liking.
In addition to a couple dozen oysters, I had the poblano salad with a few grilled shrimp on top — it was delicious. The fare is pricey but you won’t be disappointed. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the place had a very upbeat and energetic vibe. They have a large outdoor dining area as well.
I will come back here next time I’m in Houston galleria area.
