I needed a hard to find battery for a small electrical device. Searching brought me here. They had what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Customer service in the store was friendly and helpful. I will remember this store when I have a need for batteries and bulbs. They also sell car batteries.

I would not recommend anybody getting their phone screen replaced here. I ended up going back there 3 times within 1 – 2 hours as my touch screen wasn’t reading and I had a lot of glitches after they installed a new screen for me, only to end up back with my original cracked screen. The first response I received when addressing my problem was that they installed the screen that was out of package and would put on a new one for me to see if it would fix the problem. First off, who in their right mind would even install one that was out of package to begin with? Rest assured I asked for my refund and got the heck out of there. Please look elsewhere when it comes to getting your cell phone repaired here, wasted literally 3 hours for nothing.

I went online and ordered the batteries for my son’s Razor motorbike. Got an email confirming my order. .and another email 30 minutes later letting me know that the batteries were ready. The guys in the store were really nice and helpful. They even offered to connect the harness for it when I couldn’t figure it out. Definitely would recommend coming here. Only suggestion would be for the guys to not blast George Michael tunes so loud lol… just kidding guys!

Holy batteries, Batman! Holy light bulbs, too! This store has been right under my nose for years and I’ve never walked into it. What a loss! This place has every battery for every gadget and motorized object that you could ever own. They’ve even got car and motorcycle batteries. Not that’s what I went for, but I never expected to see an array of them in here. I actually came here because I was doing my good deed for the day: my son’s watch battery died. Hubby had found a coupon for this store: $ 4.99 for a watch battery replacement. Holy smokes! I figured I’d be a good mom and get his battery replaced while he was out watching the Texans game at a friend’s. Super-friendly employee took the watch, found the battery and replaced it in a one-two-three. Beautiful job. No nicks or scratches on the crystal or the back. Reset the time, paid my $ 5.40 with tax and I was on my way. Not only does this store have a vast assortment of batteries, I think they also have every light bulb that has ever been manufactured. Ever. Bulbs for appliances, cars, clock radios, flashlights — if it’s got a light bulb in it, this place has a replacement for it. There’s also a great stock of rechargeable batteries, battery-operated lanterns and flashlights here, too. I know where I’m going when my lights go out — and when the hands on my watch stop moving, too. Holy nick of time!

Centuries ago, Mohammed made a hegira across the Arabian Peninsula that led him to Mecca. This week, I made a hegira across the greater Houston area that led me to Batteries + Bulbs. Mohammed was seeking spiritual enlightenment, while I was only looking for a frustratingly difficult to find xenon bulb for a tiny kitchen lighting fixture. So maybe it’s not a great analogy. And while the circumstances and historical significance of the two are clearly different, it truly was a real pain in the ass to find this obscure light bulb, resulting in many failed trips to Lowe’s and Lowe’s-esque places, buying knockoff bulbs that didn’t work or fit, and generally spending an astonishingly disproportionate amount of time for fixing such a diminutive lighting fixture. I know, I know, first world problems. But upon finally arriving at B+B, my problem was happily solved. I went first to the Meyerland location, and when they didn’t have the needed bulb, they called over to the Richmond location, and when I got there my hegira was at an end. And better still, the prices for the goods aren’t extortionate like other places that vend similar wares(I’m looking at you, Radio Shack!), so I didn’t have to pay an arm and a kidney for the long-sought-after dinky xenon bulb.
