I think I witness the owner telling a customer there’s a minimum of $ 10 of credit card charge even though the guy’s haircut costs only $ 5. So b/​c he didn’t have $ 5 cash he was charged $ 10. This already left me a bad impression but bc bf was in need of a haircut so we were like whatevers, just mind our own business.
The sign outside the storefront clearly stated $ 5 haircut. But the gentleman, aka Mr. owner, leads my bf to the back for a shampoo so out of curiosity I asked, is the hair cut $ 5? Then he said” cut only is $ 5 but shampoo and cut is $ 10 and I can’t do much styling if it’s dry”. Hmmm, that’s strange, didn’t I just see you dry cut the other 2 guys hair? I’m not throwing a fit cus it’s 5 bucks more, I just thought it would be nice of him to ask the bf if he would like shampooing his hair for 5 bucks more or just a dry cut. I thought that’s kind of shady of him. I was just sitting there keeping my mouth shut cus I know the min I open my mouth I might get in trouble. Mr. owner seems to have his stuff together and takes his time on cutting. To sum it up, at the end of the cut I made a comment that «the back looks good, maybe a little too long in the front cus we both work in the kitchen». OH Lord and Mr. Man immediately got offended and said I worked in the kitchen before and just wear a hat or net and I cook very well.” What does this have to do with anything? I wasn’t there to criticize his work so I’m not sure why he got all worked up and gave me the attitude. Then he continued to be in a pissy mood until bf was paying, get this. he said, «YOU LUCKY I CUT YOUR HAIR TODAY, ME APPOINTMENT ONLY». You serious??? IS this what you tell a paying customer? Bf still tipped him though…
$ 5 cut +$ 5 shampoo+$ 5 tip= BF lookin’ like Justin Bieber. When we met my mom afterwards my mom pointed at him and said HEY YOU GOT JUSTIN BIEBER HAIR!!! HAHAHAAAA
