I have to say my boyfriend and I took a tosh coming here, we usually go to the mall and get our haircuts but this place is amazing! I told the lady exactly how I wanted my hair and layers and that’s exactly what I got. There are not many places in Houston that knows how to cut layers the proper way, but I think I found my spot it was worth driving from pearland to here, if you ladies are looking for someone that knows how layers are suppose to be cut this is the place.

Enstyle is definitely one of the nicer salons in Chinatown. They charge 8 dollars for a child’s haircut which may seem odd since a lot of the nearby places charge 5 but I can definitely see this is a step up in cleanliness and I am glad to pay extra.

Let’s see, so while getting my hair trimmed today, Denise mentioned Enstyle Salon has been open for about 12 years. Meaning, I’ve pretty much been coming here ever since they opened. Yep, sounds about right.
Enstyle Salon is a haircut-​and-​style place located on the intersection of Bellaire and Belle Park Drive, give or take a light shy of Asian supermall extraordinaire, Hong Kong 4. Although haircuts are their cup o’ tea, owners Tom, Denise (his wife), and Thuy/​Annie (his sister) also offer hair coloring, waxing, and eyebrow-​threading services. It isn’t the best looking salon out there, but it isn’t exactly dingy either, it’s big and bright, and has a small aquarium to keep the kiddos at bay.
Obviously, being on Bellaire, Enstyle serves more Vietnamese clientele than anyone else, but over the years, I’ve been seeing a more diverse range of customers — all ages, too. Tom and Co. take good care of their clients no matter the ethnicity, but I suppose the only difference in service is that they’re not as chatty with anyone that isn’t Vietnamese — which is totally fine with me because I’m not much of a chatter myself. I usually only come here for trims and touch-​ups (I think it’s best to go to more prestigious places if you want to do something dramatic, especially if you don’t speak Vietnamese), I’ve had both Denise and Thuy handle my hair, and I’m usually quite pleased with the results. For shampoo, wash, trim, blow-​dry, and style, it’s $ 25, but I’ll typically fork over $ 30 to cover tip. There’s typically a wait (sometimes 5mins, sometimes 30mins), and in all honesty, making an appt doesn’t do much here. In fact, I don’t think they even write them down. You could call in if it makes you feel better, but you’ll most likely end up waiting anyway. Probably the most time-​efficient thing you could do is call them as you’re about to leave the house just to see how busy they are at the moment.
The salon could tidy up a little more (there’s always hair on the floor), but other than that, this place does just fine for me. I’m too lazy to venture out and find another trim/​touch-​up place and I always leave Enstyle satisfied. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it!

Annie, you are amazing! You brought my hair back to life. I am the type of person to color my hair and style my hair in many different ways. So you can imagine how damaged it is. Before i came to her i had so much split ends. She cut my hair with plenty of layers and added plenty of volume. When i came in i told her that i wanted to color my hair a red color. My hair usually does not eat the dye very well. But when she was putting the dye in my hair, It felt so creamy and soft. Once she was finished i left completely happy! I got so many compliments on my color. It’s been 3 weeks already and the red is still radiant.
