This place is legit! The food is really good here. The portions are huge and the service was excellent. We went on a Saturday night close to 8pm and had no problems getting a table for nine people. We ordered beers and it looked like we ordered pitchers. The strawberry Margarita was not very good and don’t recommend this drink. If you are looking for a great Mexican dish don’t let the fact this place is next door to a gas station fool you.

I am pretty excited about this restaurant I am a Californian. I am also a chef I specialize in seafood and Mexican food, this is the first«authentic Mexican restaurant» I have found in Hot springs(I hear there are some authentic taco trucks & places over by the race track we have not tried those yet) My wife and I split a torta this is all we have had here they tell me they have chili Verde both chili Verde and tortas are something most people reading this won’t even know what they are… and that is what makes this restaurant awesome. A torta is a sandwich on very special bread that they don’t have around here they put your choice of carne Asada, Pollo Asada, or carnitas on your sandwich with some avocado shredded lettuce onions and pico de gallo… very yummy. I have not tried the chili Vertie yet I will come back and try it and give A review… if you have NEVER eaten or seen chili Verde or a torta on a menu it is simply because you have NOT eaten at a real Mexican place or a real Tex-Mex place, Im sorry… but this is a fact.

All I can say is YUMMMMMM!!! This is the best Mexican food I have had in a long while!(And I eat it almost every week since 1967!!!). Our server, Vianey, was wonderful and made a great table side guacamole! Definitely will be back!

We are from out of town and visiting Hot Springs for a short getaway. For lunch our son requested a sandwich from Jimmy John’s. My husband and I were looking for something different. We saw Trejo’s as we did the drive through at Jimmy John’s. My husband and I decided to give it a go. I ordered the kids chimichanga and my husband ordered a burrito. The kids size was perfect for me and the burrito was more than enough for my husband. Both meals were tasty and we were pleased with our decision to give this place a try. The service was fast and very friendly. We thought it was a great find while visiting the area.
