Not really an Irish pub but a good lunch spot. Great Sunday brunch drink specials. Had cheese fries, absolutely delicious but maybe a little too much cheese. Steak sandwich a little bland but overall decent. BLT and pub chips(try the salt and vinegar) not to be missed. Clean bathrooms and great service.

Clean place, they had all the sports I was interested in on the tv.s. Good service, the food is a little overpriced, but it was good. I had the hell fire burger and my gf had the club. They were also playing some good music, we left before the live music started. I will be back.

As a beer lover, this is one of the few places in town that has a good selection of craft brews. First, when you belly up to the bar, you realize the bar is freakishly high. I am short and it comes up to my chin. My husband is tall and it comes up to his chest level. Trying to get the rundown of craft beer on tap is disorganized, choppy, and biased. I want to know the brewery, beer name, style, flavor notes, ABV, IBU. Can I get a printed list of the beers? No. Can I get a taste? No. I have seen this before, but it is a horrible practice that should be criticized at every encounter. Any bottles of craft beers, particularly IPAs? They had three, two were visible from the bar into the refrigerator; the third was hidden in the refrigerator. They have bottles displayed at the connection of the two legs of the L shaped bar. However, only about the 3 seats at the corner can see them. We took a gamble and ordered a round. The beers were ice cold, way too cold for craft beer(a plus: the glass was not frosted). Our food was good(reuben and portobello sandwiches), but extremely awkward moving the sandwich on a horizontal path than the usual upward arc to get to my mouth. In chatting with the bartender, she mentioned that they can’t make a proper black-and-tan since they don’t have harp. I guess every tourist town needs to have an Irish pub, even if it is only by name. Speaking of the name, the charge on my visa card came up as Lucky’s Bar and Grill. One of our beers was $ 5, the other $ 6, why the difference? If one was high gravity(a popular term in AR, I have found), there was no information offered in advance(as mentioned) to support this. Depending on the rest of my night, I like to know when ordering high gravity beer. I offered to share my thoughts to the manager on how they could provide better service to beer lovers, but the bartender would not send him over. This alone indicates to me that they do not care about the customer’s experience. The service at the local brewery up the street is great, I suggest you try them. Next time I will try the Ohio club or the German place; I hear they have good beer selections.

Food and drinks were delicious! Server was a little slow, but not bad. Bartenders were friendly and happily explained the seasonal drink specials and advised on local beers. Would definitely eat here again!

Can not give a review of the food because they did not open as stated. We arrived at 11 and the signs said they opened at 11. We waited 15 minutes and left because even though there was a person inside at the bar it appeared they had no intention of letting customers in.

The worst. First time I have ever refused to pay for my meal and it was just spinach salad. They ran out of spinach and filled it with romaine, a few mushrooms and large chunks of white onions. The salad was what I had settled on after ordering 3 other items which they did not have.

This is a so called Irish Pub. They have a great band Professor Tele that plays on Thursdays & Fridays. They do have great food on the small menu they do offer. I recommend drinking liquor, wine or mixed drinks here. The beer served in draft or bottle is always luke warm never cold. They have a new wait staff and new bar manager every week not very organized. Also long wait times on drinks. Also is a non smoking establishment. Also have ran into this on a few occasions on Thursday nights they have a very annoying Camera lady taking pics in the establishment she will reach over you table, between you, sit her camera on your table and all. Management never says anything to her

After the last experience with service left a bad taste in our mouth, we decided to give it another try. The rude manager has been replaced and this time our service was fast, attentive, and super pleasant. She definitely gave us a better experience and they redeemed themselves. The food was amazing, as always, still a bit disappointed in the recent price change but the quality is there, and definitely worth it. Overall, glad we gave it another shot. The new manager is doing an excellent job, and we will definitely be back.

The off menu specials are by far the best. Find the menu stuff too fried and greasy but the specials can surprise. Was surprised by quality, taste and presentation at Sunday’s brunch, My shrimp & grits was creative, well seasoned and well presented. Partner raved over souped up corned beef hash(an under appreciated dish when well prepared). Get the feeling it’s a pretty good kitchen that has to cook down for the trade. Usually there for music which is often strong,

Came in on a Sunday night in June. I think the whole town was rolled up in bed. There was just a bartender working the front of house and a cook. But man they hit it out of the park! It was delicious, and the service was on point. Hands down one of the hardest working bartenders I’ve seen. Never wanted for anything. Wife had the Copper burger, it was flavorful and cooked to a prefect med-rare as requested. I had the Guinness fish and chips, and was highly impressed. Very different and great flavor, the chips were thick and obviously fresh made. Great job, would recommend. Not giving it 5 stars because the management should have had one more person on the floor.

Service was horrible. We ordered our food. Our waitress forgot my order and blamed it on the cook. She said it would be a few minutes and mine would be out, which I thought was no big deal. 20 minutes later I still had no food and everyone at my table had already eaten and was ready to go. She brings me my food as we are getting ready to leave. Not only that, I was still charged for food I couldn’t eat and would have to eat later cold. I told her to keep the food if she was going to charge me for her mistake. Food wise my husband’s patty melt was dry as hell and had no flavor. The Irish fries were actually pretty good and at least I was able to get a few bites of those since I didn’t get my entrée. Hopefully, the service isn’t this bad normally, although I won’t be going back to find out.

It is January 1st so maybe everyone is moving slow and we will come back. The beer is cold and so is our food. One guy bless his heart working the whole place, I’m Guessing the manager(thinking she should do more) is occasionally picking up the slack. Like I said we will come back but as for the menu it’s a steak sandwich 2 kinds of burger or a chicken sandwich then my menu said Reuben casserole and my husbands was crossed Out so idk Beer on tap is great! In the end I would only recommend this as a place to drink beer and watch TV

NEGATIVE5 stars… food is salty & gross, the drinks are watered down and the staff are big jerks! Mac & cheese is watery and blandness squared, even with bacon! Sliders were tasteless, dry & only come out 3 at a time, when you order 6! The staff is beyond words! Well words for polite folks! Be warned it appears bars in this town have crap for staff & could careless about repeat business! I would avoid grabbing a drink in downtown Hot Springs, period! I prefer to spend my $$$ where I am treated like a customer should be!

People were nice enough. Must have caught them in a bad night. Service was crazy slow. I honestly thought I was going to have a birthday before my food got there. Not bad once I got there. But probably not going back.

We visited the Copper Penny Pub in downtown Hot Springs on a Sunday night, our first night, during our weeklong visit. We mainly went because it seemed to be the only place open on Sunday, but we lucked out that it was such a fantastic experience. We were seated right near the front window, so we had great views of both the inside of the restaurant and the downtown area outside. Being the spicy foods addict that I am, I ordered their Hell Fire Burger, which is a burger made with fresh jalapeño and bell pepper, and topped with jalapeño jack, a fire roasted jalapeño and jalapeño avocado aioli, and served on an jalapeño bun. It’s a jalapeño-lover’s dream burger! As if that wasn’t enough, to complement the burger, I ordered the panzanella as my side(thanks for options!). The panzanella is a small salad(no lettuce) that comes with jalapeño croutons, grape tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, roasted red pepper, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, and capers tossed in red wine Dijon vinaigrette. YUM! I washed that all down with a delicious Hoegaarden beer. The food was all fresh and delicious, and our server was very friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a great experience and a great cost-effective dining option in downtown Hot Springs.
