Absolutely amazing food. We had the lunch special: a slice of pizza and your choice of any salad. The salad was sublime, the pizza out of this world. This place is definitely the real deal, a totally unexpected find. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it.

We stopped here on our way back from Portland for lunch. We were impressed with the affordability of the two lunch combos. For eight dollars, my husband ordered two slices of pizza, a fountain drink and a cookie. For the same price I received a slice of pizza, fountain drink and a side salad. I was especially impressed that the side salad came with different options. The amount and quality of the food was easily worth the price. The service was great and we’ll definitely be back!

Always delicious! I love the sandwiches and I had a delicious special slice of pizza the last time(some type of pesto, artichoke and chicken I think). Prices are a little spendy depending on what you get, but it always fills me up! Service has always seemed nice and friendly as well!

Walked in saturday night and ordered 2 balls of dough. When I went to sign my receipt, it was $ 18… I told the gal behind the register that all I got was 2 balls of dough. She said that $ 18 was correct… their dough is $ 9 each. CRAZY. Anywhere else in town is between $ 3.50 and $ 4.50 per. I thought their pizzas were expensive for what you got…

This is probably the silliest spot in hood river. Stop in for a quick slice and salad and it takes longer than dining in somewhere. $ 14 is crazy steep also for pricing.

We placed an order for take out for dinner. We ordered a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, a plain pizza, and breadsticks with pesto. When we arrived to pick up our order, the place looked foggy and smelled like something was burning. We asked what was the smell, and were told that they had been baking lots of things. We made it back to our room to find out that the burning was our order of breadsticks. I mean they were really burnt. If we were eating in house, we would have returned them. Looked like the chef was smoking a cigarette outside and forgot about the breadsticks. Please ensure that customers do not receive burnt food. We feel ripped off. On the other hand, the pizzas were pretty good.

Great pizza, sandwiches and service! We stopped by to grab some pizza and ended up grabbing a couple of sandwiches too. The pizza was excellent and the sandwiches were just as good if not better. The service was also very friendly! We look forward to coming back again soon!

This is not a hack pizza joint. It is the real deal. We ordered breadsticks and the Margheurita. It is not cheap and if that is what you want look elsewhere. But why pay less for low quality food that makes you regret you ate there. Pay the extra for this quality. We will come back here if we are in the area.

This place could be renamed«Plenty» and would both be descriptive and easier to remember with its delicious food at a great price. We’ve been here twice now since it used to be a Pizzicato. There are some items that harken back to those days, but others are new and better. Try the kale-apple salad with lots of fresh greens, tangy white balsamic dressing, and a large portion of candied walnuts. The Mediterranean pizza is a favorite of many. Ask them to add chicken and roasted garlic to make it perfect. Toppings and portion sizes are generous, unlike other places in the area. With all the toppings, the crust could be just a bit crisper to hold them up. They have beer and wine by the glass or bottle, usual soft drinks, and hot coffee. Wine by the glass is limited to a house tempranillo blend(a good choice) or Copa di Vino red and white. Desserts are simple, usually cookies or brownies. Service was fast and friendly, but we usually go when it’s not crowded. They have a monstrous list of do-it-yourself pizza ingredients and are happy to split a pie with different recipes or add something to a pizza. Slices are available, usually three or four choices. Handicapped access is easy with a designated space outside the door and no steps.

First, I love this place! Food is always good, but service in inconsistent. But I keep coming back because I’ve never had anything here that I really, really like, and almost always, it’s not too long of a wait. But I have waited anywhere from 5 – 30 min. for a simple meal, and today I put the pieces together and figured out the pattern. Seems when the owner is in, service is excellent! Right on time, line moves along. But when he dare take a day off? Forget about it! Ordered 2 simple sandwiches with side salad today, no line… and then we sat and watched as staff moved about, chewing on something, all very happy and seemed to be enjoying their time! Except for the pizza guy, the 3 others were all at some point out and about, easy-breasey, walking around, having a good time. Over 20 min. later, we got lunch, which was just ok today. We tried something new. I’ve never had flat bread before, so maybe this is how it’s supposed to be, but it was dry and crunchy. Otherwise, food was fine, but I wouldn’t reorder today’s special. We’ll be back, but I’m going to start tracking when that owner dude is in!!!

We really wanted pizza, 2 other highly rated places in town were beyond packed and refused to do takeout. We found this great place, had prompt, friendly, efficient service and the pizzas were delicious! The menu is unique and creative. But you can also build you own with tons of sauce options and about very topping you could want! We also were able to have a drink while we waited for them to cook our pies. We will be back!

Was not impressed at all! Eating here for the first time(and the last) really makes me miss pizzacato. The staff here is tge same and they are great… but the food, not so much. I ordered a meatball penini with no veggies. It came with sauerkraut and a burnt bun(I mean burnt black). When I tried to return my order I was told I «didn’t ask for no sauerkraut, and their buns are always toasted that way» … since when is sauerkraut not a vegetable???

We like our pizza, and Pelinti makes our top-three list every time. Pizza(by the whole pie or by the slice for variety) is exceptional, salads are great, and add an order of bread sticks to round off the meal.

After driving for hours and hours and hours(4 to be exact) with a 3 year old, we finally arrived to Hood River! It was WAY past the little guy’s dinnertime so we had to find something and quick! We just happened to see Pelinti’s as we were driving by and decided to stop in! Luckily they served pizza by the slice so we didn’t even really have to wait! After snacking all day in the car and getting drive-through, I decided to go health and get the Kale & Apple Salad($ 6 for small). This«small» salad was pretty big and filling! It was lightly dressed but yet still flavorful and was the perfect little healthy thing that I needed after a day of bad eating. The restaurant is pretty small but cozy and they have a great selection of pizzas too!

We waited over 45 minutes for our food. After asking when ordering how long a gluten free pizza would take they said 20 min.

Very nice lunch specials. Fresh salad and a tasty slice of pizza hit the spot while we toured the Columbia River Gorge. Good quality ingredients made this a great place for those in a hurry. Love the hot sauce too.

Excellent service Excellent pizza! Today the misses and me were out and about, trekking around the gorge for the day. Was in the mood for pizza, and decided to check out this place. Was pleasantly impressed! The owner came over to introduce himself and check on us to ask about the meal. You can very much tell when someone takes pride in their establishment. We will no doubt give these people more business when we are in the area.

True. I’m predictable. I usually opt for the $ 7.50 lunch special with salad of my choice, a slice, & drink. True. I use more than my share of the free wifi as I hunker down to write and find myself getting a free refill on that drink and heading back to the counter to buy a cookie. True. I like good, reliable, & friendly service. My food is good every time. The staff and owner care about my experience and don’t complain when I take up residence until my laptop battery dies(and occasionally longer). True. The pizza is tasty by the slice or whole pie. The crust is just the right balance between thin and thick.(Not quite NY-style but its own yummy.) Salads are fresh and satisfy my vegetarian palate. I’d say I’ll be back and that would be true.
