Always awesome. They often have live music and their pizza is so amazingly delicious.

Great beer… must like hops! I guess«must» is not true because there are some malty malty brews too… Pizza is great. Nice chewy real deal dough. Not too thick and it is charred a bit — tasty topping available. They started off as a small shop… expanded next door a bit ago and I hear they are opening a second place in Woodstock — PDX. Live music is fun. A band called the Hazelnuts is well worth your while. One of the guitar players… I think his name is Paul… is a funny funny talented musician. You heard it here first, folks! I’ve only seen a couple of their brews in bottles even in Hollywood. Hey… this shop is quality(end).

Rad spot for brews and brick oven pizza. The pizza crust is European dark and crispy in all the right places. Good quality ingredients in large portions. We had the white truffle pie, the sausage mushroom onion pizza, and a spinach salad with chopped nuts. Everything, including the salad was really good — tasty flavor pairings and awesome textures. Try their sours and dry pear cider.

A nice place. Really great beer, and good pizza. I would go 4 stars, but the waits are just too much. Every time we try and go here, the wait is unbearable. It is a popular place with Portlanders, and I’m just not willing to do it.

Greatest pizza beer experience I’ve ever had. A must when in The Hood!!! 6 of us at the table and 6 different orders. they handled with ease and not one person had left overs. 1 nine year old girl, 1 thirteen year old boy, a mom a dad and two grandparents.

Stopped in to try their beers and get a bite to eat. Casual atmosphere and attentive staff, and while the food(in this case, the pizza I tried) was delicious, it was also very overpriced. I’d say bring a friend if you want to blunt the damage to your wallet if you’ve got the munchies while you’re there. The beers I tried didn’t stand out, though I am not a fan of IPAs, which dominated their beer selection, so if you are, this might be your place. Otherwise a good place to try if you’re in the area.

Service was okay… Took a while to order and our food was forgotten. Although once we got drink and food, beer and pizza were great!

If you love IPAs, this place is totally for you. We stopped in for lunch as we were driving through the area on recomdations of some friends. We ordered salami and mushroom pizza. I wasn’t too impressed with the pizza and ive definitely had better. The toppings were nice, but the only flavor I got was the taste of the burnt edges and the bottom of the pizza tasted like they needed to clean their oven. Unfortunately those flavors consumed all flavor of the pizza and didn’t make it very tasty. We were a little embarrassed to say anything because everyone seemed to be locals and would probably have killed us. ;) We also ordered a few different IPAs. Really good. We will definitely be back to drink some of those.

Good pizza! Their Beer isn’t what I typically drink, so it’s hard to judge. I picked something i knew i could drink, and it was(I don’t even remember what i got) ok. Not terrible, but not a beer I’d order over and over. The space is quite nice. Lots of space, big roll up doors, nice location in town.

Tasty pizza place. A great selection of beer — we enjoyed the IRA and the Black Irish. And we tried the sausage, onion, and mushroom(but substituted green olives) pizza — it was very good. Crust was made very well. And our waitress was friendly too. We’d come back on another visit to Hood River.

Just had the opportunity to stop in at this wonderful pub with my wife for lunch and a few beverages. Maybe it’s because it’s midweek during a quieter time in Hood River, but I think not; exceptional service and great pizza! It’s fresh hop season in the Northwest, and Double Mountain still had several examples; all beautiful examples of what’s available to breweries within a few hours of hop growers. The tap list is extensive and all excellent. My favorite was the sole cask offering, a version of «Hop Lava» brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Azzaca hops; spicy yet smooth; get it while it lasts. I think folks that arrive at small town pubs on weekends need to be a bit more understanding about the volume these pubs do, and they get stretched a bit thin; show a bit of patience and understanding, and you’ll be rewarded with a very pleasant experience. I’ll be back here soon! Thanks Matt for a great experience!

I normally stop at Full Sail when passing through Hood River. They’ve got a great beer selection and their menu is excellent. Add that to the view of the Gorge and it’s a great place to stop. If you haven’t been there, I would recommend going there first for the experience. That said, I believe Double Mountain has better beer. I am mainly speaking of their selection of IPAs. Hop Lava and Pale Death were excellent… But if I had to choose I would go with Pale Death. If I was writing them on establishment alone I would go with three stars, but their beer gives them an additional star. Finally, their menu was solid. I had the meatball sandwich and it was delicious. Again, Full Sail has more options and I have never been anything but thoroughly impressed by their food.

I love Pizza. There I said it. I am always seeking out the best pizza joints in every city I visit. A good slice of pizza can make the world right again and Double Mountain has a pizza that definitely makes my world right! The margherita pizza at Double Mountain is amazeballs. They top it with basil once it comes out of the oven and its fabulous. Their pizzas are on the thinner side, so it you’re a deep dish kind of person, I’m not sure this is the pizza heaven you may be dreaming about. Though you can always stop in for the beer and wine!

I stopped in after a disappointing day(of missing a rafting trip) hoping this place that was highly reviewed and recommended by people along our way to Hood River that it would boost our morale. I had a great sour beer and my girlfriend had their house made Root Beer. The top ranked pizza here is their truffle pizza. Well, I had to wait about an hour and ten minutes for it. I asked about it maybe 40 minutes in – with which the server said he just saw it pop into the oven. Okay… Kept waiting, Kept waiting. Finally the server apologizes about an hour in and says something happened to our pizza. He did comp our drinks though, so I appreciate the apology. However, I wished there was more transparency when I checked on my food 40 minutes– instead of telling me that it’s about to come out. The pizza was whatever though, drizzled in a heavy amount of truffle oil. Nothing really special, and it’s something you can find almost everywhere in California. Does that make this a california style pizza?

Yum! This place had excellent food. I had a personal pizza. I had the truffle shuffle. The pizza had truffle portabella mushrooms and onions on it. It was very delicious. The crust on the pizza was perfect and not too thick. The size of the personal size was also huge! Because the crust was thin, it is definitely possible to eat the whole thing :). The beer here was also really good. I had the green neck lager which was a very tasty summer beer. I also sampled the peach beer which was excellent. I would definitely recommend a stop by here!

This boss was thirsty after crushing the Gorge surfing all day. Double mountain was boss. The only question is, what is better: Chaos Reigns with a side of Clusterf#ck? Or Clusterf#ck with a side of Chaos Reigns? See pics to make the final decision. If you want to be a boss, you have to make the hard decisions. Make them at double mountain.

Great pizza, location, and beer! There is a wait even at 4:30pm! I had the sausage and onion pizza(added pepperoni) and it was deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelish! A little burnt, but what do you expect when they are making soo many pizzas at a time in a stone oven. Whatever it is, I really enjoyed this place. Also another plus is that they are super dog friendly.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Those are the things you will say after you enjoy yourself here. Excellent New York style pizza that is legit… Trust me on that one. Killer beer that rates in the top echelons of Oregon craft beer… Unbelievable and perfectly balanced India Red Ale… Love the dry hopped Vaporizer Pale… I’m certain others are delicious! Great service… Couldn’t say a bad thing about Double Mountain! Enjoy and don’t miss this place. Family friendly too!
