During a recent trip to Hawaii my Motorola handset decided to enter the eternal life of the endless boot loop, so I needed to find a replacement ASAP. After a quick hijack of my wife’s phone and a consult of Google Maps over lunch at the art gallery, I found these guys and scooted over whilst the rest of the family headed over to the palace. After a short wait, I was served and despite a mild language barrier it was quickly established I wished to view the cheapest Android handset I could buy outright, and if deemed acceptable, purchase it. This happened promptly enough for me to rejoin the family at the palace. Good work!

I signed up for prepaid service here a month ago. Everything was ok until I reset my phone and lost the APN settings in the process. I tried finding the appropriate settings in net10 forums online, but no dice, none of them worked. So, I went back to Upnext to see if they could help me out. It was funny because as I explained my issue to the dude working(Winston was his name) another guy came in asking questions about cell service and complaining about the«straight talk» cell plan he had and how their customer service was nonexistent, he said he couldn’t get any assistance whatsoever. In comparison, Winston had my phone working perfectly within 15 minutes of handing it to him and he was happy to do it. Winston is the man, and if you’re debating switching cell service I highly recommend Upnext.

Yes, that is right! :) … 5 stars for this Upnext Mobile location who went above and beyond … and it’s strange but I really haven’t been able to say that about anyone’s customer service for many years now. This past June I recently moved closer to campus and did not have wifi for a month … as you can guess/imagine, my phone bill was thru the roof. Seems data is the new way for cell phone companies to gouge people :(… so I asked around and my friend Peter referred me to Upnext Mobile. I called up Upnext Mobile and went down to check it out. I shared the situation and that I would like the cheapest phone plan available. I had to buy a new phone of course which was $ 100 but the phone plan is $ 30/mo unlimited talk & text. They gave me the phone card for free and a discount card for every time I pay my bill in person. Seriously amazing customer service! :) … they weren’t all pretentious like other phone companies I know and they didn’t even try to upsell me on anything. I would recommend this place to everyone. They’re the best place I’ve

I hate the customer service here. It’s like they would rather help their own race first or someone who is dressed well. Twice I came here with just basketball shorts a shirt and slippers. They pretty much ignored me. When they do help you, they’ll do it as quick as possible and seem uninterested on helping you further.

After having a bad experience with TCA Wireless, I got the service I needed from Upnext Wireless on Pensacola. Shelly explained and assured me that they had knowledgeable technicians. Then Chris walked in, «Here he is,» she said. Shelly quoted me 24 hours and I picked my phone up within 3 hrs. What I liked was they didn’t «over-promise and under-deliver.» Chris took the time to explain to me about differences 3G speed and 3G generation iphone. If you have problems with your iphone, I would definitely take it here. Both were friendly, helpful, and confident that they could deliver. I was impressed with their sincerity and professionalism.

Ughh okay, I like how easy it is to pay my phone bill here, but I HATE how long I have to wait to do something so simple if someone is being helped since there’s only 1 computer and usually 1 person working. The longest time so far was 45 min. Just to pay a phone bill which took 5 min. Ridiculous. Besides that, I like it.

The staff is nice, honest, and helpful. The inside of this place is clean and well-organized. I enjoyed chatting with the guys in there, they know their stuff!

Those that know me, am familiar with my crackberry(it has a fanpage on facebook: Cory’s Crackberry). I finally caved and picked up a new phone via T-Mobile. My issue: how do I port my 2140 contacts off my crackberry to my brand new G2? Sounds easy enough right? Well, my stuff was password protected by my old company(BASTARDS) and I’ve had 2 tech people and 1 admitted crackberry addict look at it and couldn’t figure out how to get the info off the device. We tried downloading the new desktop manager, backing up the files, etc. Nothing worked! Well here’s where the 5 star rating comes in. I bring my crackberry in, Jerry Shi(the technician there) hooks it up to their computer, works some voo doo magic, and BOOYAH! My 2140 contacts are all now in my gmail account! Never to be blocked, protected, owned by another company again!(I guess except Google huh?) They charged me $ 25 + tax but I woulda easily paid upwards of $ 500 for the service(just don’t tell them). Talk about a relief! All of my information is saved and now I have a new toy to play with and no worries about missing contact information. :) The tech gods at Upnext Wireless Pensacola RULE!
