True Religion

I love True Religion jeans, and was ecstatic to discover that they opened up a boutique at Ala Moana near the Nordstrom wing. The store is on the smaller side, but the selection is good. I’ve usually been able to find most of the styles at the store that caught my eye online, with a few exceptions.
What I like most about this True Religion store is their customer service. Somehow, they always make me feel like a valued customer without pestering me. I’m always checked up on in the dressing room, but not every 5 minutes. They’ve also volunteered on several visits to check other stores, including the outlet in Waikele and stores on the mainland, for styles and sizes I was looking for. It was also very nice to receive a thank you note from Kelsi for my purchases. To my surprise, they’ve also called me back when an item I was interested in came in. Whenever I’ve left my info at other stores for an item or specific size, I never received a call back. Pretty impressive!
I’ve purchased a jacket and a pair of jeans from this store, and love both. The stretch jeans are always comfortable, and I believe that the Becky cut with its mid-​rise and bootcut opening is universally flattering. As another plus, they now carry a petite line for the vertically challenged (like me!). Stay away from the 100% cotton jeans, though. You won’t want to be wearing them all day because they’re hard to move around in (think butt so stiff you could squat and make your own chair), and won’t feel too good about yourself because you’ll need to go up a size or two.
