Stopped here because it was late and nothing else was open. Ordered a hot chocolate. It pretty much tasted like a watered-​down version of Yoo-​hoo which is obviously made with water. I have to say that I had low expectations to begin with and this place failed to meet them. The customer service was great though.

Without a doubt the most un-​Starbucks Starbucks I’ve ever been in. If you’re even close to flight time simply don’t bother. If you see a line, don’t assume their normally speed and efficiency apply. Our line was an easy twenty minutes or more (so we ended up committed to the decision and couldn’t bolt) while the manager bogarted one register for his own bookkeeping and acted like the chaos around him wasn’t really happening. Dude never even looked up. Seriously disappointing across the board.

Sometimes you just NEED/​WANT coffee and the Starbucks at HNL (just past security) has fit the bill NUMEROUS times.
I’m a huge Starbucks fan, even to the point of using their ground coffee at home, so there’s NO DOUBT why I prefer them even when they blatantly price gouge at EVERY airport shop I’ve ever visited. This being said, I’m pretty sure I’ll continue to visit, pay for and ultimately enjoy my airport joe no matter the cost. However, I’m still deducting one star for capitalism.
The staff were fantastic and efficient.
The quality of coffee and snacks were exceptional — we’ve come to expect NOTHING less.
See you next trip, you evil vixen.

Super busy location near Hawaiian Air gate 56. While they try hard to keep up with the never-​ending line, they’re so understaffed which results in slow service.

«Your day just got better.»
Yes, it did. After running around for the holidays and barely making it to the airport on time, I had a stroke of luck and got put in the expedited security line. What did I do with my extra half hour? Go to Starbucks, of course.
Contrary to most airport chain business experiences, this Starbucks is operated like one in the suburbs. The baristas were very sweet and patient when dealing with the queue of customers.
By a lucky mistake, I came up with my new favorite drink I will call «The Trojan.» The concoction is simply green tea with a splash of passion and half sweet. Behold the cardinal and gold colors of USC.
If you’re a Bruins fan, I’m sorry, but you won’t be having your school colors in an iced beverage anytime soon. You could always pop in to 7 – 11 and hope they have vanilla and banana Slurpees.

My wife and I ordered pastries and as I paid for them my wife noticed a cockroach crawling amongst the edible delights. I made the staff aware and they basically handed me the bag of pastries and didn’t care. I had them call for someone to refund the credit card which took forever. The lady selling the pastries treated it like it was nothing of concern and continued to sell the pastries with the cockroach still present… Delicious.

This location is in between gates and very busy. If you have time to sit and relax go for it and grab your Hawaiian Spring Water and couple goodies in the case and a coffee before you head on your travels. Line gets very long and seems like the baristas take their time to make the coffee. Also another one near gate 23
all in all staff was very NICE!

Make sure you have time to stop here — there is always a line. That being said it’s a good place to grab that latte or skinny mocha before the flight. Plus of course they have pastries, sandwiches, and smoothie style drinks in bottles, along with bottled water. I usually grab that at least to stay hydrated on the long flights to the mainland. :)

We always stop at this Starbucks on our trips. The reason I’m only giving 3 stars is because my sister and I wanted bagels, but they didn’t have a toaster. I still got a bagel, but it would have been waaay better toasted.

BEST STARBUCKS ON THE ISLAND! has to be hnl gate 26⁄27!!! other than that, you wont find another amazing costumer service from others in HNL! Also, the main thing for STARBUCKS IS THE DRINKS TAST AMAZIng. They do it right! if u ever get a not-​over-​the-​top drink, ITS HIGHLY LIKELY/​GARRANTEED YOU DONT LIKE THE DRINK PERIOD. If i dont like the drink there, then its not them, its the drink!
