It’s an airport Starbucks. It has all the basic drinks and some of the foods. This Starbucks has hot sandwiches while the others in the Hawaiian Airlines terminal does not. Would I go here again? Yes. It’s conveniently located by Gate 60. Was I happy on my visit? Not really. The line moved slow despite having 4 workers behind the counter. I got my drink after the person who ordered after me got theirs and then they didn’t even make my sandwiches until I asked about them when I got my drink. Traveling is stressful enough, getting coffee and a snack shouldn’t be.

Horrible– my drink was made completely wrong at another one of the airport kiosks and they refused to fix it. Not acceptable.

It’s the usual Starbucks. AKA same décor and same drinks. It’s convient because everytime I need to pick up family from the airport I always hang out here until they call me that they are at curbside. Beats hanging out at the cell phone lot. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with this location. It’s clean and the employees are friendly. Just like the description for 3-starts: A-Ok. I’ll always be back as long as I have to go to the airport to pick family up.

My experience hasn’t been so great at this location, especially when ordering pastries. I understand that it’s busy in the morning but that should be no excuse for poor service. I ordered a plain bagel to go. 5 minutes out the door I opened by bag and realized they gave me another type of pastry. So of course, I have to walk back. I told the cashier of the error and she gave me my bagel. When I arrive at my office and bite into the bagel, I realize that it’s a blueberry bagel. OMG! I just wanted a plain bagel! This morning, I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a plain croissant. Since I had such a great experience the last time, I checked my bag. So of course, my order is wrong again! Please please please take my advice… repeat the order back to the customer and stop abbreviating all the pastry names!

Dear Mr./Mrs. Starbuck, Good morning, good morning! I hope this note finds you happy and well. I am writing because of an experience I had at one of your stores yesterday — namely the one near Honolulu International Airport on Rodgers Blvd. I have been a Starbucks fan since ever since(pardon my homage to Guam slang) and would hate to leave because of a few major issues. I wanted to alert you to a what is happening to one of your stores. My coffee was burnt(this wasn’t the first time nor do I expect it to be the last)(and btw, how does one burn coffee?) and my classic coffee cake was hard and stale. I doubt that no amount of «heating» would solve the stale issue with my pastry. My husband’s coffee was stale as well and his old fashioned donut was really, really OLD. I doubt that’s what you intended the old fashioned donut to be. I’m not a business person nor do I manage any business other than my household but this much I know, if your customers are not happy your business will falter. I’m sure you don’t want that to happen. There is a lack of consistency in your products and I can only assume that there isn’t a quality assurance program in place. Every cup of coffee I’ve had there reflects this. I wish I could recoup all the money I’ve paid to your brand for all the coffee products I’ve thrown away because I couldn’t drink them and for all the pastries I’ve trashed because they were old(in my vocabulary throwing pastries away is sacrilegious! Just that act alone speaks volumes about what’s going on in your pastry displays). Your location is perfect as well as the ambiance! Your staff is phenomenally friendly and the café clean and well decorated. But these factors alone will not keep me coming back to this location. Sincerely, a soon to be anti-Starbucks fan

Every time I go to this Starbucks, they never have soy milk! I don’t go to this location often, but when I do they never have soy milk! This location and the moanalua shopping center always seem to not have soy milk or sugar free vanilla. It’s like them not having straws or covers for the cups. Fail.

I can’t say enough about the convenience, comfort, and friendly service of this Starbucks… and of course the fresh and quality food and coffee drinks. Located just outside of the airport, I come here whenever I am waiting for arrivals @ Honolulu Intl. It’s even more convenient(not to mention more comfortable) then the airport waiting zone. The crowd that comes here can be overwhelming, especially in the business morning. The staff always seems to manage the line quickly and efficiently. And today, with no line, I even enjoyed a quick chat with the barista over the coffee and food selections and which ones were her favorites. Thank you Starbucks for having the smarts to add a location just outside of the airport to supplement the multiple locations inside!
