cute nautical-​themed odds and ends, but intensely overpriced. you can get related products (I use rifle paper co as a benchmark, which they had) for significantly cheaper elsewhere, even anthropologie. only worthwhile if your currency is strong in the US or if you’re looking for a last-​minute gift.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve walked past Sand People with not one glance in its direction; not quite sure what piqued my interest today and prompted me to step inside…

Yes, that was me basically on repeat. So many random trinkets and odds and bobs (think wooden boards with cute beachy sayings, picture frames, notebooks, lotions, jewelry, etc.) in the store, and I wanted all of it. However, for whatever reason, I had my rational hat on, which lectured me that despite my wants, these were not needs, so to keep on walking. My bank account — and husband — were both thankful, especially since everything here was definitely on the more pricey end. Oh well. Maybe I’ll take another gander in tomorrow, and hopefully my rational hat will have been left behind.
