Good standby place for mixed plate with decent variety of Thai and even some influence from the Philippines. Regular plate is 7.75 and mini is 6.75. Starch choices are white, brown or sticky rice, or pad Thai noodles. Veggie option is eggplant tofu. Quick and very friendly service. And one of the few places where you can go after 2:30. They’ll serve until the food runs out. Three stars for finding bones in the chicken dishes. Be careful. Could’ve been because I was a latecomer, I had the bottom of the barrel. Conveniently located in the Pioneer Plaza mall, first stall on the right after the cupcakes.

I frequent this place for their ready-made salads and bentos. I especially like their lemongrass chicken salad(or you can request for pork) in the cold fridge section, which comes with a ton of crisp romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and croutons. Don’t forget to grab your salad dressing on the way out! Their beef phở is pretty good outside of Chinatown, the broth is not too sweet… and they neatly pack up the soup and noodles with veggies separately. This way you don’t get ultimate mush once back at the office! Their hot entrees are tasty and cheap. Regular plate includes a choice of starch and two entrée choices for $ 7.75. Various curries, salt/pepper chicken, sweet/sour fish, tofu with veggies, to name a few… only gripe I have is sometimes the food isn’t as hot as I’d like it to be, so I end up nuking it in the microwave for a few. Prices are reasonable and the ladies who run this place are always friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back for more.

One of my favorite lunches in downtown! So delicious and you gonna feel like backpacking in Southeast Asia!

In the mood for a Banh Mi and Summer Roll at lunch, I decided to venture to the Remington Building where I mistakenly thought Ba-Le Sandwich Shop was located. Although I was surprised to see MME Saigon in Ba-Le’s place(Should I be embarrassed at how long it took me to notice this?) I scanned MME Saigon’s menu and, with similar offerings like Banh Mi, Summer Rolls, Phở, and more, I decided to give them a try. I went ahead and ordered a Shrimp Summer Roll and a Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi. At $ 4.95 for the Summer Rolls and $ 5.95 for the Banh Mi, prices were very comparable to Ba-Le. While I waited for my order to be made, I scanned through the delicious looking to-go bentos along the perimeter of the space. My order was ready in a few minutes and my co-worker and I were able to find a table outside to enjoy our lunch. I was really impressed with the size and freshness of my Summer Roll and quickly ate that first. My Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi was full of strong flavors and, while the chicken itself was tender, my sandwich felt a little bit dry. I blame my aversion to mayonnaise for this, so be sure to try their«Special Mayonnaise» if you are more tolerant of it! With fast service and fresh ingredients, I’m sure I will be back soon!

Eat here almost every time I’m in downtown, my favorite and only thing I order is the spicy tofu sandwich which is amazing and fresh warm bread when the white guy in me wants some bread or a sandwich this is the only place I think of. The lady will make fun of you if you say«Vietnames Sandwich» I still do it to see her smile at me like I’m nuts ;).

They took over the old Phở Twin & Bento location as new owners. Basically the same food and service, so far.
