I ordered a pesto chicken panini. I didn’t think it was good at all. There was more bread than anything else. Barely any chicken in it, too. Maybe next time I’ll order what they’re known for.

This not a review on anything here except for their Pitaya Bowl and if I could give them 0 stars for this bowl I would. It is one of the most expensive for it’s size that I have found on this island. The blend itself was horrible. Rather than being creamy and smooth it was chunky and icy.

I have a feeling if I get the savory crepes instead of the sweet I’ll like it better. I’ve yet to come across an American version of the french pancake without a bunch of crap stuffed into it. Where’s the simplicity? Anyway, I ordered the Honey Lovers crêpe. Now. I dont know anyone who loves honey so much they want it inside, out, and around their crêpe FORBREAKFAST. Seriously, a little crêpe with your honey? What was even more disappointing was the crêpe itself tasted reaally good, it was the over-topping of honey that just ruined it for me. The Honey Lovers crêpe also included bananas(yummy) and strawberries(sour not sweet). Meh. I’ll have to try something different next time. The employees are very friendly and bring your crêpe out to you after youve ordered. The place is pretty small, but it wasnt crowded when we went which was around 9ish.

AWFUL, UNSANITARY, OVERPRICED. I saw the staff cleaning out roaches from the drink area a while back, and I haven’t dared to go back since. The owner is a creep. They use a nespresso machine, and not a real espresso maker like any place selling coffee should. Their paninis are always burnt, side salads are not even worth 50 cents. Crepes are ok, mediocre at best. Defenitley not up to ANY european standards. Druggies camping out in the front is not appealing either.

I used to like this place but now I have 2nd thoughts of what I ordered. Popeye crêpe: mozzarella cheese. Feta cheese. Spinach. Mushroom. Garlic. $ 7.99 + tax = $ 8.54 I always order this vegetarian crêpe!!! But today it was Gross as it can ever get. Pro– good service Con– heavy on that garlic gave me gross breath And the feta cheese was just too much, the texture felt thick. There was like a stripe left of my crêpe but the more I ate, I wanted to throw it back up. I Just really hated that very powerful garlic and feta cheese taste.

A little over rated. I have had better crêpe doughs. But loved the location and overall environment. I liked the sweat crepes better than the savory once

I have been coming to Le Crêpe for a year now, once every week or every other week. I love this place! A hidden gem in a somewhat sketchy area. The owners are amazing and have gone above and beyond making special crêpe combinations for me and engaging in conversation with my husband and I. But, the last two times we have come to eat here(Saturday afternoon) a new girl is working who has not been trained well. She doesn’t possess the same grace in interaction with the customers, and ESPECIALLY in making the crepes. They have been sloppy and undercooked, and it’s truly a disappointment because getting crepes is a treat we look forward to every weekend. I hope to see the original crew at our next visit, or at least some improvement with the new hire.

One of my favorite spots in downtown Honolulu. I go there nearly every Sunday after church. The service is usually fast, but always friendly. Their savory crepes are awesome. Especially the Pesto Pesto, BBQ Chicken, and the Warrior if you’re really hungry. I don’t usually eat their sweet crepes, as I’m usually going for something more substantive, but they look good too. The place is nothing fancy, but they do crepes very well, and the prices are reasonable.

Came here with a friend during my lunch break. There were so many options, it was a little overwhelming! I’m not a regular crêpe person, so I don’t have any go to options. They have a great selection of things and I actually ended up getting a salad, which was good! The greens were fresh and the dressing was light and delicious! Wasn’t a crêpe, but was glad there were other options as well.

Both sweet and savory crepes so I come here for lunch and dessert. They also have breakfast crepes– with eggs and bacon(they offer turkey bacon!) but I’ve never tried those. I’ve tried the Balsamic, Pesto and BBQ chicken, all really good(super cheesy). It just depends what flavor a you are in the mood for. I’ve love the honey(sweet) crêpe with a scoop of ice cream. It comes with banana and strawberries and drizzled with this amazing honey. Make sure they don’t leave your crêpe on the cooker for too long. The browner it gets, the less light crêpe becomes and is instead gummy and dense. You can choose to eat inside or four and they will serve you. Or you can take out. They also have

Dear Le Crêpe Café, You were an important part of the last days of the last weeks of the last months of eating food I’m not supposed to. I first ate my usual crêpe go-to: Nutella with bananas. It was delicious. On my second visit I was enticed by the lemon sugar crêpe, but also wanted my usual, so I ordered both and claimed the nutella crêpe was for my four year-old. It’s not my fault she couldn’t eat the whole thing. Thank God I was there to help her. Your lemon crêpe is divine. It transports me back to London, to a chilly side street off of Oxford where I found a mecca of warmth and salvation in the guise of a mobile pancake stand peddling lemon sugar crepes. The hot crêpe warmed my numb fingertips, the edges lightly crisp and the middle, oh the middle, a veritable orgasm of citrus and sweetness so magical that I immediately purchased another. I went down that side street a few times a week with only a vague ribbon of pride preventing me from going every single day. I ate those crepes until one day I turned down the street and it was… empty. I never saw the pancake peddler again. It was tragic. Anyhow. Your lemon crêpe is the first time I have experienced the delight that thrilled me on that cold London street. It reminds me of winter and loneliness and sucrose induced dopamine. It reminds me of brisk air and heavy coats and getting fat even though I danced almost every day. It reminds of a time in life when I was young and immature and ate so many desserts I am astounded I did not contract diabetes. If I were not intolerant of every ingredient in the crêpe aside from the lemon, I would become a fixture in your storefront. Alas, it is not meant to be. But there are cheat days in this world. So perhaps I shall see you again. Love, Angela

I order lunch at times when it comes to breakfast.:) No coffee, bagels or muffins to help me get through the morning. Bring on the sandwiches, rice plates, and salads. Thankfully for Unilocal it takes a matter of seconds to showcase what is available around me. That’s when le crêpe café popped up. It’s a small coffee/breakfast/lunch shop located on fort street right next to Hawaii pacific university.
I walked in and was blessed with nice cold air conditioning mixed in with sweet aroma. They make some amazing crepes which I did not try. That would be for future visits. I looked at the menu, and ordered a chicken pesto panini. It came with tomatoes and Swiss cheese which complimented it nicely. There is outdoor seating as well for you folks loving the sun and humidity;). The employees are very nice and this joint accepts cards yea! As for my panini… it was ok. The flavors were there. The bread was very well done and dry. I think whoever made it did not use any butter in the presser. I would’ve liked more chicken then dried out starch. Maybe it was a sign not to eat lunch for breakfast;) Anyway I’ll be back to try their crepes.

In three words: Cozy. Hospitable. Delicious. Cozy– several well spaced out tables where you can talk with friends or furiously bang out Unilocal reviews. Well lit, lots of windows and outside covered tables for people watching. Warm coloured walls. Trendy music that’s not so loud you have to yell to be heard. Did I mention they have a/c?! Hospitable– Greeted with a genuine smile, always 500 bonus points. They check in on you at your table to see how you’re doing. I asked for a small glass of water and got a big cup of filtered ice water. I felt like a guest, not a customer. Um, what was the last one? Oh yeah, delicious! I forgot to take a pic of my beautiful acai bowl. Demolished. It. Regrets? None!

Bless Chinatown and their little eateries, other half was craving Crepes one random day and Crepes No Ka Oi was just too damn far! So I busted out my handy dandy Unilocal app and was not disappointed. Located right across HPU its a small restaurant with some inside and outdoor seating. Menu was pretty extensive. Staff was friendly and everything was delicious. I had a spinach and ham Crêpe and he had a bacon and cheese with spinach crêpe we split a Nutella and strawberry crêpe, because we’re fat. They take cash and card. Definitely recommend!

I am not sure why it’s taken me so long to write about this place but my sister and our daughters have been coming to Le Crêpe Café since they had a location in Manoa next to Bostons Pizza… that’s now closed but have a booth on campus– UH. They have lost some of the Parisian vibe here in the downtown location. They used to have cute décor that just reminded you of Paris. However, still great crepes and now have a chicken dish and acai/Pitaya bowl. The owners are both from Paris and has brought the perfect crêpe here to the islands. Their batter is not too sweet and they have trained their staff to cook it the way they do. They never over stuff and have to add crazy things to make it taste better. The crêpe itself is delicious. They use fresh ingredients. I love the combinations they have come up with. Staff is always friendly. My favorite sweet will have to be the Le Parisien– melted butter, sugar and fresh squeezed lemon for $ 4.50 Savory– Moulin rouge– cheese, turkey, fresh basil, tomato $ 6.99 Mimi’s fave is the le bacon for breakfast– cheese, turkey bacon, egg $ 4.99

Located in Fort Street Mall, Le Crêpe Café has both savory and sweet crepes. Yay! You get to watch as they make the crepes — so much fun and so tasty! Try some of their unique weekly specials. They also have salads, sandwiches, and waffles(breakfast only). For savory, I’ve had the Moulin Rouge — mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and turkey slices. Great flavor — they also have tabasco sauce on the side if you like that. For sweet, I’ve had the Chunky Monkey — Nutella, peanut butter, bananas, and strawberries. Also the Honey Lovers — butter, honey, bananas, and strawberries. If you can’t choose between savory or sweet, get both! You can always ask for foil if you need to take it home. They also serve lemonade and coffee. If you like sweeter coffee drinks, I’d recommend the Honey Mocha. Great place for lunch every now and then if you’re in the area.

Recently tried the Pesto Pesto savory crêpe which had the perfect mix of pesto, mozzarella, chicken(or turkey), and tomatoes. You wouldn’t think it would be filling from how simple a crêpe looks but it does hit the spot. They also have lots of sandwich, sweet crepes, breakfast crepes, and other options. All are priced fairly. Take out is conveniently bagged and foiled for you with good quality plastic utensils, napkin, and a thick paper plate. Why even mention this type of stuff? To my surprise, other places don’t always give you even these basics to enjoy their food with which really detracts from the meal. They have comfortable and clean seating if you choose to dine in. Fast and friendly service as well, which is what every office worker in the downtown area wants in a weekday lunch place. I rarely get to eat crepes but now I know exactly where to go if I’m looking for one.

I’m always greeted with a smile when I come in and that always starts my «Parisian» meal off right. Crepes are always made to order with fresh ingredients. They don’t cheap out on the filling! I’ve tried about 4 or 5 different kinds of crepes. My favorites are definitely the chicken and mushroom as well as the pesto pesto. The sweet crepes can be kind of pricey($ 6+ for Nutella, strawberries, and banana?!) but they’re delicious as well. Really nice for a cheat day. I’ll always come back!!! Shout out to John for making the best crepes. Remind me to tip you next time.(Hahaha)

My visit to this location was a while ago, so I can’t remember exactly what I ordered. But that’s just it, I can’t remember what I ordered because it was a bit underwhelming. These crêpe places/stands have been popping up more often lately, so I gave it a go. I have had some excellent crepes at other locations. Since I am out and about for lunch, I had a savory crêpe. I was pretty hungry afterwards, which was a bit disappointing. $ 7 for a crêpe and still hungry, when I can get a full plate someplace else for the same price? Doesn’t help that there are other great eatery choices near that location. As I read the other reviews, I think I may have to give them another chance. I do agree that the staff was very friendly and the wait wasn’t very long. Maybe I’ll try something for breakfast or dessert.

I’ve always saw crepes as a dessert food… up until I had one for breakfast, and it was delicious! Now, I have a whole new outlook on crepes. Crepes are so diversified, you can put whatever you want in it and depending what you put in it, it can be your breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. I’ve been here once, but I would come here more often if I didn’t live so far and have to fight traffic to come here. Came here in the morning, so I decided to get a breakfast-sy type of crêpe and ordered the popeye. It had mozzarella cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and garlic feta cheese. All ingredients that I love to put in an omelette. It was delectable and huge! It ended up being my breakfast and my lunch that day. All the other crepes sounded so yummy, that it actually took me awhile to decide which one I wanted. When I find myself in downtown, I’ll be back for sure.

So hip, funky, & just like a night club. They have a NYC vibe and the staff, music(just like Beirut Nights Radio), super fluffy yet softly — thin crêpe’s make THIS the morning Fort St. Mall stop. SO easy to find, indoor and outdoor seating is available. The delish coffee & tunes make a perfect start to anyone’s day. Wow, THIS is MY idea of a meal with jiving atmosphere. It’s really happening here. Feeling down, town’s got the blues on you? 10 minutes here and you’ll take on the world with vigor. Enjoy my review folks, though enjoy Le Crêpe Café more. You know those days where you wear new heels and you are still hungry and want to find some amazing food. Yes this place was worth both blisters I had for walking 7 blocks each way. I order the Chic’N Mushrooms crêpe with rotisserie chicken, mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella cheese. It was super gooey and huge. Definitely didn’t skimp on the inside. I ordered a double shot of espresso to go. I believe it was Lion’s Coffee. It tasted like it. I ordered The Fancy salad to go because it looked and sounded mind blowing. It sure was. Spinach, feta, strawberries, pecans, and balsamic dressing. I thought it was perfect without dressing. I’ve been recreating this salad all week long. If you in the area stop by this place. It won’t disappoint.
